What kind of immigrants? Not from Europe for sure. We need ton of paperwork,various sorts of test's, eligibility test,English language diploma from university,money. If I'm not high educated cheap labour - DENIED!\nBut ... there's one type of immigrants who pass the border just like in a supermarket. Their countries are in endless wars,easy immigration. Why would they fix their countries? This way is easier.

40 to 50 hours a week? I work that in Australia as an Australian. Indian universities aren't necessarily recognised overseas. Even then I've worked with many as engineers and got uber rides from many just as an example. Different cultural system. Its simply unsustainable. Most countries cannot even help their own people, so why are they letting more illegal immigrants in the country. The governments are doing this so they can have more control, raise taxes, and gain more power. They need to focus on a strategy for teaching our citizens and legal immigrants how to thrive

Listen I feel for migrants and refugees, but it’s also not the job of other countries to take them on. Most countries are already struggling to provide for their own people. This is why I understand why leaders like Trump say he wants to send back illegal immigrants. So much resources have to provided to refugees and migrants. It’s important for people to also push back and reform their own countries. If they are seeking refuge due to circumstances beyond any control, then it’s somewhat understandable…however, many factors need to be considered before taking them on. All country’s citizens deserve the priority first. So many countries are struggling and then are expected to provide for illegal immigrants/migrants :( it’s not fair to these countries.

Why is everyone moving to Toronto. Canada is not Toronto. There are many places in Canada that needs to be developed. Why not develop other places. Toronto is saturated with people. Our resources are depleted. Rents are very high. New immigrants should go live in other parts of Canada. Start communities and businesses in other areas. All new immigrants cannot settle in Toronto. We need the rest of Canada to be developed.

I live in rural Atlantic Canada. There is lots and lots of land not being used. People driving long distances from their huge single family home to get to town or the city. If no Canadians are moving to the country side to start homesteads, then why not immigrants. I don't see the point of someone moving to a local small town to work in a Tim Hortons or not if there is no job available and buy franken foods from huge corporations. Instead if some immigrants want a homesteading life (some probably would), give people grants to make apartments in their huge single family farmhouses left from the days when people had ten kids, and subdivide their land so the new people can farm it. The local people can get rent money and payment for the subdivision and still have a large plot of land left over). Grow the local farmers markets! Grow the small towns to what they were 100 years ago! Make it so people only had to drive to the city when they wanted to, not for work. There is so so much empty land out here used for massive lawns.

These days, every country blames their pre-existing problems on immigrants (easy to do). The realtor girl in the video clearly explained why housing is expensive, because it's expensive to build. Is that the fault of immigrants? No! In fact Immigrants should technically bring the cost 'DOWN' due to 'cheap labour'. As an Indian immigrant myself, I have tremendous sympathy for Canadians. \n\nThe so called diploma mills were always a danger but online classes during covid meant they could quadruple their attendance (and thus, their bottom line). The degrees offered by these colleges are worthless and that's why anyone who's moved to Canada in the last 4-5 years is finding it difficult to get meaningful employment.\n\nOn the other side, the Canadian dream really is sold as a cheaper and safer alternative to the American Dream. This is especially rampant in the state of Punjab where people from villages sell their ancestral property to move to Canada as students only to find the stalemate that is the job sector.\n\nThis in turn puts pressure on the economy, the housing market, and the welfare programmes. I think the immigration needs to halt for a while. A LOT of students are lacking in technical and linguistic skills to propel the Canadian economy and society forward and they'll need to not be given Permanent Residencies. PR should go to highly skilled immigrants who are integrating into the Canadian society instead of turning Brampton into mini India.

Canada has a serious problem dealing with a large influx of migrants coming from India. I am American who just traveled to Toronto last week and noticed Indians are everywhere, literally everywhere. Im not sure they all want to go to the US. I Mexico right now, people are all wanting to go to Canada over the US. They can live and work easy in Canada, and the economy is strong. Let's make this make sense. Most Taxi/Cab drivers are often immigrants, mostly Indian, Pakistani, and Arabic. Why would they not help their fellow immigrants get into a country illegally. Okay Im not a New Yorker and I do not have a horse in this race I did a little googling on it because I was fascinated. As outlined in the Constitution , the House represents citizens based on district populations, while the Senate represents citizens on an equal state basis. This means flooding New York City with all these illegal immigrants drives up the population and creates moue House votes for the state of New York. Now you may think, no that's citizens, actually it isn't. \nMore than 205,000 migrants have arrived in New York City since the spring of 2022. Now while New York's citizen population has been on a slight decline for the last 20 years. While the population is declining make it easier for illegal immigrants to replace those number more quickly. It’s been so long about immigrants from different countries applying to Canada why only now that having this temporary visitors become a big problem???. It’s the incompetent people who are handling and managing the application. It’s a simple mathematics get the right number and set a limit and it should be devided by different nationality not just mostly dominated or only people from India getting approved. As I watched alot of EU countries Finland, Poland, Lativia closed their borders to immigrants. The US wants to do the same . We gets labeled racists for wanting this same policy. Those EU countries got applauded ??for closing their borders for safety concerned for their citizens. If Canadian or American were to move to either country, we respect them. Americans respect Canadian laws, culture ect . Americans also wouldn't move to Canada or the UK to commit crimes or overthrow the government. We Americans, Canadians and Britts respect eachother, respect culture and would move there to be productive part of our new host country ??❤ ?? ❤ ??

Immigration wouldn't be a problem in Canada if immigrants were only allowed to settle in less populated areas like the Territories, Saskatchewan and Manitoba or even rural/ Northern parts of BC, Alberta, Ontario etc. Instead they all come to Greater Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Montreal etc because that's where their family members and friends are. Canada has a huge density problem and lacks infrastucture in all of these rural areas but allowing immigrants to move here but only to those areas would be hugely beneficial. There is jobs there as we have a resource-based economy. Why isn't this obvious to politicians, people want to move here just put some rules in place!

Canada is in crisis due to immigrants so I don’t understand why you keep coming. Of course Canadian people will not welcome you, our kids can’t get jobs because all jobs are filled with Indian students who agree to work for less ruing our work system. We have Indian people crapping on our beaches because they don’t know how to use a bathroom. Complete different mindset and culture. We are a clean country and welcoming but millions of people at once is too much. I’m pretty sure India would feel the same way if Canadians would do that to you. Not sure why everyone in the world is allowed to be proud of their culture and heritage except for EU or western world. Please stay in your country and work hard at making your motherland great instead of Turing your back on it. Now Canada sucks and sad to say we all know what the cause is
