Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs. Not only is Canada bringing in mass amount of unskilled immigrants, but they are are subsidizing their wages, driving down wages even further as Canadians entering the work force can't compete for jobs when companies can pay well below minimum wage for foreign workers who will be topped up by the government. As someone living in Canada... I actually don't feel much of the things mentioned in the video. Sure, wages are not growing as fast as it can, but as someone who managed to purchase a home *before* the bubble started to expand, I'm living steady right now.\n\nWhat is REALLY causing a large part of the social and economic issues is actually the fact that provinces are NOT expanding new towns and cities in the millions of kilometers that needs to grow. Everyone is moving into cities, including refugees and new immigrants, which is driving up local prices and demand for everything. A few years ago, there were literally news of townships outside of the major cities offering houses and land for $50 per acre if people move to those towns and live there. \n\nCanada's biggest (heh) advantage is how much land it has. It's biggest weakness is how little comparative population it has. The worst problem is the concentration of population in like 6 keys cities throughout the entire country. If more people who complain about housing or social issues were willing to move outside of the major cities, they wouldn't have those problems.

A lot of you locals are struggling to land employment because of the fact. Employers are taking advantage of this loophole for to lower cost of employments. I am fed up with such news of illegal Immigrants from India. Also not able to understand why the fuck they are leaving country when they are treated as downgraded citizens and have to work under wages. In case anyone is wondering why so many Indians are trying to flee Canada here it is. Under Trudeau and the liberal government Canada was basically giving a free pass to anyone who wants to come to Canada through colleges and universities, if you get into a Canadian school, you can get a study permit (which also allows you to work for 20h a week). Additionally after the schooling you are given a guaranteed work permit for the same duration as the schooling (if you went to school 2 years you get a 2 year permit, 4 years you get a 4 year permit, ect.) A Canada and immigration agencies (for some reason) basically advertised this to India as a guaranteed way to get permanent residence in Canada. Canadians hated the massive flood of people coming into Canada (about a million a year at its peak, which for a smaller country like canada is equivalent to 10 million people coming into the USA every year). This is really unpopular with voters of course (in part because of the housing, food, and low skill work shortages it created), and the next Canadian election is this year. So the conservative government has vowed to massivly decrease the number of immigrants coming into Canada and the Liberal government knowing that this can be used against them in the next election is decreasing the amount of PR cards they are given (like a Canadian green card) as well as the people they are letting in in total. Now as the (mostly Indian) immigrants work permits expire and they will soon be kicked out of the country or no longer legally be allowed to work, they are fleeing to NYC to try to take advantage of the sanctuary city (something that does not exist in Canada).

Canada and the US share the longest border in the world. It's not just illegal immigration coming from Canada but the US as well. Both countries need to co operate to stop this. Also, illegal immigrants can not claim refugee status if they are escaping from a developed country. These people are saying that they will support and defend these immigrants because this administration is dividing us? How about advocating for the legal immigrants that live here now or the homeless of NYC. The city council, governor, and mayor all need to kick rocks. They are the worst. Sometimes, i really think that these officials forget that the stuff they do in Manhattan trickles into the other boroughs. New York is not just Manhattan. Brooklyn and Queens and the Bronx are right across the Hudson. Long Island and Staten island are above and below. These officials are affecting the funding that comes to all the boroughs because they want to act progressive. None of the officials of New York are actually progressive. The way they live shows there real nature.

They've been warned well in advance. Illegal immigrants are not citizens of the united states, therefore, are not protected by the united states constitution. Any federal law supersedes state law.

Im not so sure of the info coming across. Ive seen staggering numbers of immigrants coming north from the US into Quebec and Ontario for a number of years. Quebec had to set up shelters and programs to accommodate how many were coming up into Canada. Watching the RCMP helping them come into Canada, taking their luggage and guiding them Those officers should be charged with being an accomplice to a crime.. that would stop the police from helping bring them in... Maybe it changed and now they are going south?.. but getting to Canada isnt as simple as coming up through warmer weather countries and going south in Winter would be a major issue through snow and weather. Not so sold on the numbers coming from Canada going south though.

Wouldn't the fact that the city council, allocated that money AFTER the ice raids took place. Pretty much in response to them, as an emergency to basically help hide the migrants, wouldn't that make them complicit in aiding and abetting or harboring a fugitive? I heard something about the way Miss AOC has been going online producing videos, instructing people how to avoid/escape ICE agents, was pushing the limits on the law. Isn't it illegal to assist illegal immigrants in any such way? Like picking them up in a BUS at a random gas station? The report says bus companies are not worried because its not illegal to pick up people from the street. While I don't approve of giving low tips or being rude, a problem is we have an over immigration problem here with the same number of Indian immigrants coming here as in the U.S despite 10x less people and tens of thousands of less towns. So it's getting hard for Canadians who were born or grew up here to find jobs and many are upset and some will take it out in inappropriate ways. It's best for government to limit immigration so that Canadians can have these jobs. Sometimes you have to put up with jerks in retail. You can always not work there
