It's about time something was done about this. It's not racist to understand that helping decent people to find a better life in Canada is not what the TFW program is about. I feel bad for those who were duped into coming here to Canada. They had big dreams of becoming successful here, instead not being able to do that and being forced to live in cramped accommodations. I work in healthcare, and a lot of people who work in the facility in which I'm employed were brought here from the Philippines and India, mostly. Some were hired directly by this employer, while others came here some other way. Those with professions like being an RN were under the impression that it wouldn't take that long or be that difficult to get their Canadian certification to work as RNs here. Instead, they found out that the process for that here in Canada is a lot tougher and takes a lot longer than they'd been led to believe. So many are left not being able to use their education to its fullest, instead working as care aides until they can get the proper certification. I know that this has also happened with doctors and engineers and to many in other professions for which they went to school for years. It's a real shame.\n\nThis massive influx of people coming from other countries, though, has been really tough on those of us who were already living here. It's been way too many people, and we just weren't prepared. It's been one of the biggest factors in the huge increase of cost of living and, of course, it's by far the reason we have an enormous housing shortage.\n\nI'm not completely anti-immigration, but I think that it needs to be stopped, at least for a while. Let us deal with what's going on now instead of bringing in more people that would only help to make things worse, through no fault of their own. There's no reason that we need to have more people coming here right now. We have way more than enough people here right now.

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. Im moving out of germany, one of the main reasons are, besides taxes and language, etc that people complain about:\n\n1. Worst food in the world, if you don’t eat fast food you will starve, I need to cook my own meals every single day because there is absolutely nothing decent to eat. Only things I can eat here are schnizel and sushi. \n\n2. Unless you come from a rich white country (USA, Australia, Canada, Japan…) you are not allowed to drive unless you do the test etc again even though as a tourist you can drive. This is just a plain racist law. Uber also sucks in Germany because they over-regulated it. So you cannot get around if you don’t live INSIDE a big urban center.

Thanks for this informative video. I am a British and live in the U.K. I believe the U.K is one of the best countries in the world to be a black person. The mainstream press have not been truthful in reporting the recent protests in the U.K. It wasn't based on race, but based on a different reason, which I am unwilling to make mention, lest I be censored. Left Canada 30 years ago and returned to an almost unrecognizable Toronto for a visit this summer. The deterioration of infrastructure was obvious. One underlying reason for much of the change is the emphasis on transfer payments and other entitlements, which limits investment potential. There’s only so much money to go around. Tax increases or increased government borrowing to fund development of schools, hospitals, the military, roads etc are not feasible.

Okay so no 100 k wont' get you that life you dream of, you'll get by in BC, but you can't buy anything. You can rent, you need 200 k now in BC, Kelowna average house is 1.1 m, Vancouver 1 bedroom is 3000 +, nobody wants to live in a jail cell, but maybe some wierdo's do? I don't know. \n\nIf your working and making 100 k in Vancouver, your working likely many hours for that, meaning there is no pay off, no car, rent a small apartment, have little savings.\n\nNow here's the REAL catch. If you make what some think is rich in Canada say 300 k a year. That works out to 182,000 after taxes, pension etc. Now homes in Vancouver, well let's maybe look at small condo's, hmm lets say a 850 sq foot condo sets you back 900 k, monthly mortgage is 6000, that's 72,000 a year, insurance, no car okay can't afford it, maybe a small car, 1000 a month insurance, payments fuel etc, cable, internet phone, etc etc food, another 2000 for a family of 3, wife one child. Thats now 9000 a month, dental, eye glasses, clothes, sports, other, another 1000 a month, 10,000 a month = 120,000 a year to live in a small 2 bedroom condo in Vancouver. Oh and condo fees 500 per month, so 126,000 a year, no extras yet.\n\nmeaning if you make 300 k a year and lets add on JOB expense, usually with high income comes some expenses, lets call it 6000 a year, suits, whatever. Thats 132,000 minus the after tax income of 182 and your left with 50,000 per year for savings and xmas, travel etc.\n\nNow you make 300 k a year and you live in a small 2 bedroom apartment and maybe some day, 10 years down the road you can buy a home. \n\nAnd the max you can afford on 300 k a year is around 1 million after a 100 k deposit.\n\nNow if you make more than that, there is NO reason to live in Canada, in BC they take 48 % of my income and what do I get lol, zilch, bad health care haha fun,

Most physicians are low qualified because the good ones move abroud e.g. to Switzerland.\n\nDemocracy is a lie. In Germany you have a Party dictatorship controlled by the USA. So many people recognize after a few years living here.

My family immigrated here in the 1950s out of war torn Europe for a better life. Things have changed so much since I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. Toronto was a safe city with a good vibe. Things were reasonably affordable. Trudeau didn't start a lot of the problems, but he massively accelerated them. Government is openly hostile to basically anyone who was born here. They sold out the country to wealthy foreigners. I make a decent income but I still can't afford a house. Taxes are killing me. My doctor is horrible, but I can't find a new one. Civil liberties went right out the window. The people are cold and sullen. Crime is getting bad. Life just feels like it gets a little worse every year. I've been mulling it over for a long time, but might finally be time to head south. There's got to be something better than this, because I'm getting older and life now just feels like going through the motions.

Leaving may solve your problems but only for very short time, because whatever place you end up in, it may be no better, and good deal worse, since you won't be a citizen there. I've done extensive research on several countries to move to and it's not very difficult to see why so many Canadians (among those who have options) are leaving Canada. Here's one important data point for anyone who is interested: In the OECD's national growth rate projections to 2060 (not a typo, 2060), Canada has placed dead last! There are 38 OECD members. What this means is that the fundamentals are not in place in Canada. The country is now in free fall, as there is not enough wealth creation happening, and it's just not true, as this video suggests, that Canada still offers endless 'opportunities'. Stop the disingenuousness.

I can recommend you to reside in one of EU countries. It is far more convenient and proper to maintain the living circumstances and standards. A part of the domestic inhabitants and people have also abandoned Canada due to the cost of living, paying substantial amount of taxes and healthcare segment. Those are the largest complexities of the country. It stems from these reasons in order to leave Canada. Those indigenious inhabitants of Canada commonly choose to relocate in UK, Germany and France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Spain. A vast change eventuates in the whole world with the new immigration waves. The living conditions are modifying, the orders are also reshaping and the paradigms are altering. It comprises a large transformation within this process.

For me a Québécois, we missed the boat in 1995. Too bad if you don’t like it but we got screwed by newly arrived immigrants back then and we are being drowned by immigrants now. From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. Have you ever given any thought to the difficulties in proving your innocence? \nNO ONESEEMS AWARE OF THIS DETERENT TO BRINGING CHILDREN TO CANADA. NO ONE. IT IS THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT PLAN FOR. All other complaints like the economy, or the weather, or inflation I have survived. But taking away my child, my reason to settle in Canada for a life of freedom for her, my legacy, was unthinkable. People ask me in this small village where is my daughter. Their rosy cheeks become snow white when I tell them. Canadians here are unaware and scared like cattle in a thunder storm. Many are addicted to welfare payments, cannabis, prescription drugs, and television. They all seem to be waiting in a pen of fear. Heartbreaking really. Big time. What's happening to Canada is like watching a beautiful horse being whipped to death. So much unmet potential. And it didn't happen by accident. They may as well have nuked us than to have reduced us to this shadow of our former self. Indifference and naivete allowed it. \n\nIf you leave with regrets; then you travel with a ghost. Have decided on Canada AND the next. Mostly two for business reasons. One for the Americas and one for the other. Truest decision is where would you like to die. Yes, I wrote die. If you had the choice. That includes your home, who would be with you, etc. Peace and true happiness is there.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

So many Canadians in the same situation — perhaps use your Canadian passport ? so many better places for you to be… find a nice job across the border in the US — it’s so easy to get a TN work Visa, or work tax free in the UAE, or build a nice career in Singapore. I had the same problem with Australia — it’s my home, and my heart will always fondly call it home forever. Australia is a big country with small job market, generally ignorant (but nice) people and limited economic diversity. One gets proper civic amenities only in either Melbourne or Sydney e.g., top notch medical care, a wide variety of groceries etc. Taxation is very high and although some people will tell you “we are well taken care of…” that is not true nowadays. The Australian Government’s policies over the last 40 years destroyed manufacturing, the economy, working conditions and inflated the property market. A reasonable 2-bedroom apartment in a Sydney suburb could cost you Au$2000-3000 in rent or Au$500,000+ to buy — and that goes higher as you get closer to downtown Sydney. The problem is that incomes are not high enough in Australia and housing quality is less than average overall for these ridiculous prices. Food, tolls and petrol cost a lot, although Sydney and Melbourne’s fresh food markets give you better prices than you’ll find in most other cities. My wife and I had a combined income of over Au$300,000/year while we lived there. We finally left Australia and moved to the US because even with our relatively high income we could only have an average house for around Au$1.8 million, we couldn’t fill up the tub and have a proper bath because of water restrictions, our kids would get an average schooling and their only dream in life would be to one day own a house. We didn’t want to live like that, so we wrapped up and left for good. The US is much better for skilled people — I don’t mean plumbers, tilers, roofers or landscapers, although life is good for them too. I’m sure someone will reply to this comment about the gun violence in the US. All I can say is that in the US we have the option to defend ourselves whereas in Australia we are expected to quietly die if someone kicks us in the head, stabs us or shoots us. Quality of life is good here in the US for me and my family. Fly free, mate!

Sadly, several reasons impact the perception that new comers have on Canadian citizens. The government cannot assume that more is the better. Also there is not a balance on the cultural and races backgrounds from the new comers creating a political polarized system beneficial for ones and damaging for others. There is no effort for maintaining Canadian values but instead an uncontrolled pluralistic system which in reality is completely forsaken by government advocacies and members of the parliament. There are currently several issues that must be addressed such as the cost of living and housing. All of this is obvious, may sound racist but is the truth. Until there is not control over such matters, the country’s situation won’t improve.

Damn...I've been considering a move to Canada from London UK (part of the reason why I found your channel). I've been hearing so many people are leaving because it's not the same as it used to be. It's sad to hear because Canada felt like one of the really good places left to start a life in.

I hold a Masters degree in Computer Science from a prestigious technical university in Europe. I have over 15 years experience with software engineering in different industries, such as finance, science and big pharma. I can live any country I want with my background and experience, easily making over 6 digits paycheck. \n\nHowever, I’d not consider living in Germany because for one simple reason: the political environment. The hardcore right is on full rise. Racists everywhere. The Nordics are much better.

Classic. Just as I expected: not a SINGLE word about the fact that Germans themselves are leaving the country in droves. Why? Precisely because of the reasons mentioned at the end of the report, plus the number of people leaving for greener pastures more than doubled after 2015. Look up the BKA statistics if it hasn't dawned on you yet. Poland and Czechia are MUCH safer now than Germany. \n\nThe other thing that should have been mentioned are those tens of thousands of young Germans who don't aspire to learn a trade or get higher education. They aspire to nothing. I believe it's some 60K people yearly. That's a lot.\n\nAnd finally, despite all that massive influx of people since 2015, how come there is still a lack of workers? I'm genuinely interested in the employment rate among ppl who arrived in the 2015 wave and onwards. Even though German politicians of the currently ruling parties would never admit that the generous social benefits are a great pull factor for immigration, it's not hard to conceive, this is everday reality. \n\nIn conclusion, one could say that Germany is deterring the capable and attracting the incapable. Isn't this a sign of self-loathing and suicidal society?

My wife and I are highly skilled (both have post-graduate education), and my wife has German as a joint first language. We left for the following reasons: poor pay, high taxes, poor personal freedoms (an effective one-party state), crime and better opportunities elsewhere. The AFD is not one of the reasons why we left.

I just do not understand why they do not choose a country closer to the ones they are fleeing!? Saudi, UAE, Kuwait and why not stay in Turkey? Why travel so far to the West, to an entirely different culture? What is the reason? Does anyone know?

Cost of living is very high. tax here tax there. I have job ticket deducted 51 euro. Its transportation card just with in the state you reside on contrary you can simply avail 49 euro the deutschland ticket. . Low salary is one reason also

Because Canadians are seeing their country disappear in front of their eyes. For a country with such a massive landmass, Canada's population is microscopic. If mass migration goes unchecked for just a few generations, Canada won't be Canada any more. The maple leaf will be replaced by a crescent moon... The same thing is happening all over western countries, and it is being done on purpose against the wishes of the majority. Mass migration from African and Middle Eastern countries is changing demographics at a frightening pace, and people are rightly concerned by that. It's completely reasonable and sensible for one to want to preserve one's culture and national identity. People have fought and died for thousands of years for such things. \n \nThe fact that so many cultures and nations exist around the world is one of the things that makes our planet interesting. It's why people travel. If I go to Japan, for instance, I want to feel the difference in the way of life, but if Japan suddenly opened its door to mass migration, I wouldn't any more. So Japan doesn't open its door to mass migration, and what would you know? Japan still resembles Japan.

I am an expat living here for 5 years. I have a big love to Germnay as I have many connections with Germany. However, I also decide to leave Germany in few years. One of the reason is Germany working culture is slowly changing or it is very conservative. Things have been changed now but Germany is slowly changing in many aspects. Besides that, paperwork is terrible. If the law maker and employer don’t change, the skilled workers will leave Germany.

Today, many people from the region come to Europe not primarily in search of safety or to embrace a European way of life, but rather to take advantage of the social benefits that European countries offer. Unfortunately, many of these individuals support the same Islamic regimes or ideologies that people fled from in the past.\n\nIntegration into European society is often challenging, particularly when there is little incentive to learn the local language or culture. For some, the focus is on increasing family size to maximize the financial benefits provided by the state. This explains why it's common to see families with six to nine children in these communities. The goal for many is not to seek safety or assimilate into European society, but to live comfortably on the benefits available in countries like Germany and Sweden.\n\nTo address this issue, I believe Europe needs to reconsider its approach to handling migration. One potential solution could be to build safe cities in North Africa, where people can find refuge and work without necessarily relocating to Europe. This would provide a secure environment and opportunities for those in need, without overburdening European countries. The focus should be on creating conditions where people migrate for genuine safety and the chance to contribute to society, rather than primarily for the financial benefits.\n\nIf people are allowed to choose where they want to live, they will naturally demand the best possible conditions and benefits. However, if authorities take the lead in deciding where migrants should be relocated, it would likely reduce the risks associated with illegal immigration. By guiding people to safe and sustainable locations rather than letting them dictate their destination, we could decrease the incentives for dangerous and unauthorized migration routes. This approach would help manage resources more effectively and ensure that migration serves both the needs of those seeking refuge and the capacity of host countries.

To answer the question with another question, why do you think that adding 10 million immigrants to a country with a relatively small population in just 11 years was going to turn out well? \n\n10 million is roughly one-third of what Canada's population was 11 years ago. It is one-quarter of today's population. How was this not going to cause housing shortages and stress the social/health and education systems, overcrowd schools, and clog roads and public transport? How was it not going to grow homelessness and tent cities?\n\n10 million in 11 years were simply too many people in too short a time period. One has to ask whether this was deliberate or whether the federal government is lacking in powers of reasoning. I suspect both.

One reason - LACK of assimilation - New immigrants are not adapting and changing mental models.

In my experience, there has always been a feeling in Canada against immigrants. This is generally among the working class. \n\nIn the early 1990s I was doing a lot of work in Canada for a US tech company. I am an American, by the way. One time I was working with a Chinese Canadian engineer, who worked for the client company. We went to the loading dock to check on the equipment from my company, which had just arrived. The native Canadian loading dock workers were openly making racist slurs about the Chinese engineer, right in front of him. He was very careful not to respond. I asked him about it later, and he just waved it off. This was in the Toronto area. I was also warned about Chinese who were involved in organized crime in the city. Then, a few days later I saw it in downtown Toronto. Two Chinese men in a Mercedes had stopped on the road and pulled a woman out of the car and started threatening her. It was a tense situation. \n\nOften it is the government types that welcome the immigrants, for various reasons. Canada does indeed have a demographic problem. \n\nThis is not the 19th and early 20th century in Canada or the US or Europe. Today we have extensive social safety nets. This means taxpayer dollars. In the earlier times the immigrants had to fend for themselves. Even then, there would be feelings against the immigrants. At least in the US it was a time of rapid economic and geographic expansion. Not so anymore.

Sadly, there is no housing for the people born there, theres long wait lists for surgery and people are dying before being seen, theres a rise in crimes, theres kids being stabbed to death, theres anger every where, in every country for the same reasons.... its time for All our politicians who All need to be Protecting the people of the country and the country itself. ... its not the people coming to work, to have a family and assimilate into the local community and culture..... its the ones who want to cause trouble, who refuse to work and expect to be kept by the tax payers who legally live there... the workers are sick of being over taxed, over worked, while others spit in their eye whilst riding on their back ...
