As a Canadian who is determined to thrive in whatever environment I am in, I can say becoming a carpenter has been a pretty good decision. Wages are up and I am in demand. My home is paid off and I am 39. I live in cottage country in a great little village with a beautiful wife and 3 beautiful daughters. I have traveled enough to know that I have a good thing going here. As a capable and adaptable human being, I will do well not matter where I am though.

We have maintained a high level standard of living, when by all rights we should not have it. To tip! Not asked! Told to! & after a few times of using my debit & being told to tap a tip It started rubbing me the wrong way! So after more than a few times Of that happening I now started letting my girlfriend answer the door As she very rarely tips Unless our food came At a very reasonable time & if the driver was courteous & friendly & also cause She is not shy about saying I'm not tipping you! I work hard for my money! You took way to long! Or! If our food came cold! Cause you're very late! So if the bag wasn't still warm She check what'sa inside that paper bag & if it was no longer warm No tip was given! So if you want to deliver hot food Make sure! That you come on time & you have more than enough change + having enough change Helps get you your tip Cause common sense rules! Duhhhhhhhhh! & that's my tip to you Always carry more than enough change Or Not! The decision is yours to make As I always made good tips While never asking for a tip + I was always on time Never taking 4 orders I'd take 3 or less & I always made sure To thank that person as well Who just tipped me Soooooo haaaa! The absurdity of Trumps balanced trade argument is that the USA is a wealthy country and he is projecting that wealth upon his trading partners when in reality the trading partners are not as affluent as Americans. They simply cannot afford to buy as many goods as the USA. To equalize trade requires more affluence in these trade partner countries, instead of crippling them with additional costs. Additionally Trump does not concede the difference between buying raw materials vs finished goods. When USA buys endless oil from Canada, and Canada does not buy enough cars from USA, you will have absolutely an unavoidable trade imbalance. Average GDP per Canadian is half the GPD of USA per person.

If your country is bad enough to make you want to flee, why do so? Every country has had to struggle. Even here in the US horrible things have happened to it's citizens. You cannot run from your problems. They must be solved, one way or another. The US had a civil war. It was horrible, though you could argue the outcome was good. If you live in a country, you have a duty to be a part of that country. Whether that means voting, partaking in social norms, etc., you are a part of that. It is not another country's problem if that turns out being bad. If the majority of a country installs or allows in one way or another a horrible governing party or group to run things, it is their fault and theirs alone. you cannot come here right now, we have people here who are struggling too. I’m sorry that your country isn’t safe or has a lot of problems, but people in the US can’t afford groceries either and the gov doesn’t help the homeless, disabled or elderly enough as it is. No one should be entering the country until every single homeless citizen has been given whatever appropriate help they need and a place to live. Until our own poor citizens have been given sufficient amounts for food. Some elderly US people get $23 in SNAP monthly and are expected to eat and survive on that, while illegals are handed cards with $800 on them to eat with. How is that ever ok? \nSome of us are existing on like $600 per month, we have veterans living on the streets. These things must change before we can help anyone else. I am not unsympathetic to your cause, but I see too many struggling citizens right now that I have to care about first.
