I am going to tell you all the truth. I moved away from Canada in 2006 and lived in China up until 2019 (moved back to Canada). I saw China develop into a superpower, hiccups and inflation galore. But taxes are relatively fair and the opportunity to build something was always present. I find Canada has become a terrible choice especially now (totally neutral standpoint). If you didn't get into the housing market pre-pandemic, it will be harsh and you will be either a mortgage or tenant slave. The taxes are outrageous, utilities, insurance... these items are MUCH higher than China (and most countries). Owning a vehicle comes with high costs and you basically need one if you don't live in a top tier city. And then you are overpaying in living costs. Income tax (25-60%), property tax (about a month's salary), HST (13%)... and what do you get in return? A broken healthcare system, more freedoms (debatable), your children learning about woke agendas? An inadequate pension? If you are not in the top 5-10% (and I am), this is a very bad deal. My advice is to try to earn online with a passion and live in a location where you can actually save. Coming to Canada for the experience is great. But trying to build up in Canada is not a great choice. I am on the winning side warning you, Canada is saturated... look elsewhere.

Canada's situation is indicative of the mass movement towards globalization which means de-culturalization of national identities. Bring in people of totally different values, like Muslims with their Sharia values and laws is dividing our country and creating values chaos. The forced movement of people of different religious into other countries was started by Stalin. It was meant to destabilize those countries. And, that is the plan now - planned chaos.

I would like to add something here to show my gratitude towards Canada. \nI immigrated in Canada and now a Canadian citizen. The best thing Canada has given me are equal opportunities, and system to adopt. \nWhen we immigrated to any country we should respect and obey the rules, culture and values of country. \nIt is hard to say but nowadays some kind of immigrants consultant become greedy and comming students also become blind followers that they are not doing research by themselves. \n\nCanada has very clear and easy to follow immigration rules that any one with basic education can read and understand. There is no place where it is written to give guarantee to PR or extension of the work permit beyond the limit. Usually anyone taking decision to immigrate any another country then obviously need to do some basic and easy home work. \n\nIt is totally not fare and ethically right to protest in the host country to change their clearly defined rules after landing despite of accepting terms while submitting the studen visa. So my humble respect to prospective immigrants and existing students that protesting to change rules in Canada should not be right way to do instead of protest against greedy and lying immigrants consultants who lied with you to save next students and immigrants.

My main issue with our country allowing so many immigrants into the country is that many of these immigrants from India seem to come to buy businesses up and sponsor their families and friends to live in Canada and work in their businesses which makes it extremely difficult to get basic minimum wage jobs. \nI’ve seen it first hand in my small town, I worked at a Tim Horton’s that was owned by Canadian owners but was sold halfway through my employment to an Indian family and slowly but surely all of the original Canadian workers, including the many young workers (high schoolers) we had employed were pushed out of the business, laid off, given less shifts in favour of giving the Indian employees more shifts. \nI had applied to become manager when my manager quit, I had worked there for a year and instead of promoting me (Because it just would have made sense because I know the job and live very close) An indian man was hired from a city 30 minutes away who’s never worked at a Tim Horton’s and barely spoke English. He was totally sexist to all the young female workers and treated them horribly. He never spoke English on the floor when our staff started to hire more Indian workers. \nIt’s becoming insane.

Interview someone who is experienced in Canadian life as well as government system, otherwise your information is totally have no meaning, per capita income in Canada is $55000 per anum, in India per capita income is $2500, in India 0.8 billion on hunger line if not getting 5 kg ration support. When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.

I live in Toronto and I totally agree with all the info u shared… we pr holders dnt hv jobs even after having masters…. We have to pay 60% our hardearned money for rent. We only see the positive side of a foreign country however canada got lot of issues.

There are many other draw backs in Canada. \n\nUSA is more difficult than Canada. Nothing is free in USA.\n\nWe can go on and on with this discussion. \n\n\nWhat I will say is that in my personal opinion India is the best country to live in. There are many government hospitals which give free treatment. Government is providing free rations and houses.\n\nPlus in Dental college one can get free treatment to some extent. \n\nOverall one cannot compare the facilities available in India with any other country.

Yes I totally agree with you that the healthcare system in Canada is worth more than you think one of my friends got injured at work so we were rushed to a public hospital and he was bleeding so badly but we had to wait in queue for 3 hours he was in pain but nobody gave any priority to him than after 3 hours a lady gave her spot after that he got treatment. Totally disgusting but it is the bitter truth of Canada healthcare.

Canada is also a place where being a criminal is far more honorable and beneficial to local communities. Because that illegal money flows into local economies. Problem with Canada is not immigrants or the large number of immigrants, its the quality of immigrants which they are not able to attract, ideally they should attract the best of the best talent in whichever industry they needs human resources, and they should also cap that person or individual to work in that industry for atleast some number of years, before switching to some other type of job or business. Rather they are bringing any type of immigrant through any type of route whether job or education from around the world to study and work in their country. Its a total debacle for both people who are going to Canada and the native Canadians who are facing the heat.

Part of what's really making Canadians dislike immigration is the total disconnect between what they see, (low wage workers, protesting, cheating the system, large numbers of newcomers getting disability & using food banks) and what the government keeps telling us-- which is that they add to Canada because there's doctors and they'll be building houses.\n\nAll of our systems are going to collapse, because we keep bringing in people who take from them but never add.

According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. It's terrible. My little town had barely any immigrants at all. Now there are Indians everywhere. Also a massive increase in black population all of a sudden. Did Toronto get full? Aight so I went to Calgary in Canada last year for a vacation. I took about 20-30 ubers in total during my trip to Calgary. Out of those 20-30 Uber trips, ATLEAST 17-20 of the drivers were Indian. And ATLEAST 15 of them drove like actual maniacs. One of the drivers literally ran a total of 10 STOP SIGNS in the span of 1 hour, and almost ran over an entire family walking over a crosswalk.. I'm not gonna state the obvious but this doesnt seem right at all.. Maybe I'm just stupid idk.

Who wrote this? This is information from the 70s. Canada is the worst of the G7 countries in almost every way. This video is totally false.

Why do they come to Canada, if not for the benefits? Why do these countries not set up their own Universities, where former international students go back home and teach their country and students what they learned here. It would be cheaper for them, and they can stay in their own country. But, they don't want to do that as they see Canada as the country of opportunities to bring their whole extended families here. We are already facing housing shortages, and don't need any of this type of opportunistic citizenships. They need to drastically cut the amount of foreign students allowed in. This year they are allowing 485,000 students. This does not take into account the students who are in high school or those studying for their master’s or doctoral degree's. In total it is 552,000. Then add on the Immigrants at 485,000, illegals or asylum claims( which is at record high numbers, could not find the figures for this year), then the migrant workers which are estimated between 700k to 900k. This is all too much. Drastic cuts need to be made, and this government that allowed all that to happen needs to be ousted out.

As a Canadian Veteran I don't blame immigrants leaving the country. Personally I wish I could have retired in Germany, as the present government has totally ruined Canada, they've divided the country, they're taxing the average Canadian to homelessness. Food bank use has sky rocketed, Canada has become totally unaffordable to a LOT of Immigrants and actual Canadians. a very SAD state we live in.

It is so unfair when these new immigrants come and right away they are able to buy and own prime real estates while original Canadians that this country actually belongs to can only watch and dream of a chance of owning one but can not afford it. Worst yet most of these new immigrants they buy these homes and land not to live on it, but to build on it as for investments on behalf of investers that live in China, Hong Kong, India or some where else. This should be totally not allowed in your beloved Canada. Your Leaders and Law Makers of Canada should first and foremost consider the need and an opportunity to its people.

I totally agree with you.. we came here to adopt the beautiful Canadian culture and not end up with the same things back home. One of the major reason why some of us prefer staying in other small towns of Canada rather than Surrey or Brampton. Immigration policies need to be updated. There’s nothing wrong with staying connected with your roots, but all of us immigrants need to adapt to new culture ?

All countries except maybe North Korea have immigration systems. The problem with Canada is that it lets in too many people (most of whom are from totally different cultures with different values). If it allowed only for a small number of doctors, entrepreneurs, and other useful people, it would be fine.
