Canada should permanently end all trade with America. To start with, end all energy exports to the Eastern Seaboard and bring the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate and compete standstill. American shipping and port traffic, all railroad traffic, all airline traffic relies on importing Canadian energy so cut off the supply and brine the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate halt.

We have given billions in aid. What has Canada given or taken from the US for that matter? Do research people. We have been taken advantage of for decades.

Is it possible that this is all about access to critical minerals - which Canada and Ukraine hav in abundance. America has form in creating a pretence to go to war to protect access to cheap oil. But in the past these wars were against arab nations and so the West found it easy to 'other' and accept the need for war. Now America under Trump is hoping to secure critical minerals (modern day oil) - but because they are allies he cant start an outright war. So hes doing it through trade. This is old form for America. When looked through this lense is not so difficult to understand. I am from Europe. Lithuania. I will say the opinion that is dominant in my country: Ex President Joe Biden was not the sharpest knife in the drawer because he is of a respectable age, but he was a smart politician, he respected his neighbors and the all of Europe respected him.
