I'm not an expert by any stretch but I think what America is trying to do is, by doing this, force the US market to start up working again, America can make 90% of everything it needs. \n\nThink about WW2. There are American banks in Canada. There are not many since they have to follow Canadian rules just like Canadian banks have to follow Canadian rules
