I love the diversity of Canada, the weather is not great. It can be very boring but a safe place. You just have to know what its really like here and make it work for you. If you are a refugee its a great place. If not, you do have to work hard, pay alot of tax, so its not all that easy living here. To each his own. Do what is best for you.

Canadian's are losing everything. Immigration needs to end. This country can't afford to provide for more immigrants. As lifelong Canadian. I can't pay more taxes to provide for people that are going to draw down our standard of living. Working for less than the going rate. And eventually take part of my Canada pension. Fix the country you live in. Immigrants are moving here and instead of assimilating to this country. They move here and try to change this country. Making us say happy holidays. canada = can & nada. govt has people in a can/box bubble and the systems in canada will leave u with nada = nothing. rent is very expensive, income tax rates are thru the roof, retail tax is 13%, gas being made in canada is also thru the roof. home prices are for the rich. i dont recommend canada as a place to live, canada is a financial slave based system. white colar crime

Why do people not do their research before they leave their country? If someone is smart enough to be a doctor in their country of origin, you'd think they'd be smart enough to research what Canada's prerequisites are, and make sure they're taking those steps. Being a nurse in one country is equivalent to being a lab tech in Canada. So as a patient, I don't want a lab tech taking care of my loved ones in hospital.

I am Canadian, born and raised. I agree with this video. Even I left Canada because it was hard for me to find a career-type job and it's super expensive to live in Canada. Also, there are many smaller countries that don't require people to commute by car.

Hello, can I apply for a PR while on a work permit? If yes, when would you suggest I start applying? Immediately after I receive my work permit or some months after I start working? Also, can all these steps you explained in the video be done from within Canada or will I have to leave Canada at some point, whether during application or after receiving the COPR and being asked to visit a VFS for visa stamping?
