Why are people moving to Canada?

It’s the same in the USA . We have the same mundane lifestyle . Monotonous routines .. It all depends on the individual how to spike one’s life into more exciting plans . Canada is beautiful.. there are many places to visit and anyone can carry active exciting lifestyles. Only problem is it’s bone chilling during winter time . I wish the cost of living wasn’t that high compared to the USA despite higher remunerations .

This problems are the same all over the western world ? Canada ?? is not exempted

Living in Canada is great and lovely. Yes we have high taxes but the money is used for infrastructure, good health etc. about working, living in every Western Country, you have to work to live a good life. The amount of weeks to go for vacation depends on the type of job and the years you have worked in that company and hours you have accumulated. It’s not usually 2 weeks as you stated. Lots of people gets one month, six weeks etc. About the professionalism as stated, if the university of your country is a recognized one, you may be asked to take few courses to top up to Canadian Standard. Some people who come as nurses writes their NCLEX and can work, others take few nursing courses and then write their NCLEX. Canada is a Peaceful country. If you go to school and have your profession and live a balance life, you can buy your house and enjoy life. Canada is a family oriented country.

Please stop interviewing these JJC that just recently arrived with no real experience. This is a disservice to people who has actually paid their dues in the country. \n\nListen to the Ghanaian lady and Nigerians. Next go to party in Toronto where you'll see people who actually have better experience. \n\nThey don't live in Canada. Most don't have papers yet. I love Canada to the moon and back. Complaining about this Country is akin to 'nit picking'. No country is perfect and I don't mind the little inconveniences.

Hockey is so popular in Canada there is TV programs dedicated to covering hockey in Punjab for that particular community

Sales tax in Canada is madness!

Canada is great. We got nice nature, nice weather, and the chance to wear cool winter clothing. We got rye whiskey, maple syrup, and the best cannabis. It's also cheap to buy stuff in Canada secondhand! The people are nice here too! Yes, we have taxes but everywhere is increasing taxes too. We have some really great, creative and talented people living here.

I'm a born Canadian. I enjoyed growing up there on the lake. It was peaceful and beautiful. \nI joined a church and traveled alot in the country. I do love Canada as my place of birth and memories. \nThrough the church I married an American have been here 26 yr. Now. It has become so expensive there and too controlling. All my family is there so I think of them but I can't afford to buy anything there. I'm now married to Ghanaian considering moving there. I love the food and culture.

That is why I returned to my home country 20 years ago after obtaining the Canadian citizen.The main advantages in canada for sure are the natural environment and spacious living space. Now I have the wealth by low tax in my country and process another property to rent as income.Besides due to the so many cons factor in canada I 99% do not consider to return back.Totally agree to your opinions regarding this topic. Yep....i agreed with you 2. But i believe what the gov provide are of canada standard. 3rd world countries are more more cheap but the standard of living are more more less than what you get in canada. Its yr right & u hav the option... I'm fr m'sia anyway....

Sounds like Canada is in the same situation as UK in terms of the health care.

Everything that you have said resonates with lifestyle here in the UK except maybe salaries in Canada are higher than the UK but on the other hand life is slightly cheaper in the UK

Canada is similar to America minus the gun violence, when you come from a almost homogeneous society where you are the majority ethnicity/tribe is used more. Since both of you are young surprised that you wouldn't know people here are call colors white, brown etc. You notice it's not always accurate for those people who say my skin isnot literally black (its makes no difference.) propaganda. to all coming o the west learn the history of your new country donot relie only on social media and marketing propogranda.
