To want to live in Canada , you really have to love to be there, feel at home no matter if it is better for your finances or not. Now that rents has gone up to a level where only the wealthy can pay., why do they still insist on coming, There is a difference between having a high education and waste in on a coffee job/cleaning job/taxi driver job and so forth.

As a migrant to Canada my wife and I were required to meet the criteria that included; having relevant qualifications and work experience, money to support ourselves and three children, fluent in English &/or French (actually asked this as proof), medically fit and no criminal record, plus around $5000 landing fee.
