I’m immigrant as well and have been living in Canada for about 3 yrs and I agree with all the things you said. The cost of living is so crazy especially in Vancouver. The weather is gloomy and you only can enjoy life during summer. The inflation has been an issue recently and the rent is ridiculously high. Hopefully it gets better in some levels like rent, work-life balance or cost of living

For the same reason people leave other countries they immigrated to: disappointment.\nFor some stupid reason, most people go to Canada or other country with an idea of what the country, people, weather, etc. are, but the reality is usually too harsh for them to stay in that place... that also happens a lot with tourists when they imagine a perfect week of holidays in another country and everything turns out to be very different.\nPeople have to start being aware of what the reality may be.

Some may find this offensive but after moving to Canada I realized how my country is convenient and developed place to live in. And I see that the idea of ‘American dream’ which sparked back in 1800s is still influencing people’s perspective toward the world. They brought that concept and somehow think that everything is gonna be better if they move to countries like Canada and Australia. While never had an actual experience in those places.

Proud Manitoban here, is there any other place in the world that goes from +35c to -35c?? That's a good 70 degree difference, no other place in the world that I know has that kind of extreme. It's bad crappy weather to everyone else but for us it's business as usual. Fyi, when we say it's cold, it's cold. Manitoba is the Siberia of Canada, there is something else with our winter air.

I live in a small town in Ontario with not many immigrants. I always hear people in the media or politics talking about minority groups and wonder if people from other places feel set apart. Absolutely brother! I am from \nIndia and recently moved to Canada as a PR. Previously I was in US as a student and lived close to my university. So there were always people especially students around. But in Canada I am living in a residential area and it is as depressing as you showed in your video. There is nobody around. Just quiet everywhere like a cemetery. I dont think I can survive here for too long. Moving back to India ASAP!
