As an experienced professional worked in Indian IT market for more than 7 years, I want the Indian students to know that if you are planning to work in core subjects like mechanical, civil, electrical or electronics, only then you should consider this difficult option. Otherwise in India, there is a massive shortage in the IT & Software market. With 5+ years of experience, with right skill you can earn 30-40LPA easily. So be careful before putting your life & your parents' only means of survival at risk.

They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I have dual citizenship because my mom is from Montreal but I've never actually been to Canada for longer than a week or two and America is a shit show. I’m an American. I live rather close to Canada and spent over 2 years in time living there over summers mostly . I love both. If you aren’t going to a grocery store you are probably getting fat in America. Everything your saying is true I am Canadian. I tell people from the states the difference in school parks that I seen. All the kids in Canada are in side doing homework after school. Because are school system is way better. You see kids in the states out side playing sports for scholarships. So thats why as Canadian I feel we don't care about leisure activities. We rather travel and come home.

The cost of living in Canada can be high, just as the cost of loving in the US can be low. It just depends on location. You shouldn't use LA as your point of reference as it's (in my opinion) the worst big city in America. I am an American born in NY, raised in VA. I also lived in Van Nuys for a year, also lived in Texas before my job industry moved me to Canada. \ni have been in Canada for 7yrs, been to Vancouver, Toronto and MTL and to be honest i like a lot of things in Canada like the health care differences and of course the lower insulin cost for my husband but i still want to go back home. If anything i would stay in Toronto because it's the closest similarity to home but where Aba and Preach live, in Montreal, it's literally been my nightmare. I feel like the tap water at least in my area has gotten worse over time. \nOne thing i feel like they didn't mention that I have to tell people from America to watch out for is the credit card vs debit card thing. \nI grew up only having debit cards because i didn't want to get into debt. when i came to Canada i continued getting a debit card and realized the hard way that not everything accepts debit cards and you NEED to also have a credit card to access certain things.\nbut overall i do feel much safer in Canada even though the crazy trump lovers are showing up here and there it's significantly less than i see when I'm back home.

Having been born in NY and raised in Toronto for 13/14 yrs I agree there are pro/cons to living in both. I would say that quality of life is much better in Canada. Being Jamaican I appreciated the concentration of the Caribbean diaspora in Canada. From my perspectives different cultures are tolerated in the US vs accepted in Canada.
