Housing in Canada is in the millions [limited ground space] 2-3m for the land alone...USA, you can buy a new house with a pool for $255k. Canadians, you can keep your free (not free) health care system and I would choose USA. I lived in Canada for 40yrs yet all my longtime, close relationships were Americans. I moved to the UK as we Canucks are not allowed to leave (just retire in usa for only 6mos). However, London is not British anymore and so you get a lot of reverse racism here, buts it's about 6x cheaper than Canada. Summary: Nowhere is perfect.

I am thinking to immigrate to Russia. Things are so bad in Canada./s

Immigration is destroying canadas healthcare and cost of housing. Come here if you want to be poor and never get out of it. You can’t accept this many people at once and not have issues

Canada is where you can struggle and pretend you’re having a good life in a first world country and the US is where you can make money and actually improve yourself

i gave up watching what should have been entertaining chatter halfway through Newfoundland. the constant whining about the weather establishes you should not be in Canada. move to Arizona or wherever the hell it is you think suits you better

2023-01-23 0
Theres a lot of problems about Canada. Most countries are like Canada in terms of income, standard of living and others. All countries have problems. Just have to find the best.

2023-01-19 0
One thing they fail to also mention the USA will let anyone move here. Canada not so much.
2023-01-19 0
It sounds like canada is the better country to raise kids in, but america is where the kids end up spending half the year.
2023-01-19 0

Another russian immigrants who are telling cool stories about “what’s bad in Canada”. LoL.\nJust wondering, what other countries, except your “great” russia you lived, to make the comparison?\nOr your comparison is solely based on your vision of ideal Disney world? ?‍♂️\nRegarding doctor: most of “dangerous conditions” of patients can and should be treated with more water. And unless you or your friend is a doctor by yourself, you are just spreading idiocy, based on Dunning-Kruger effect.

weather!! it is cold! in Canada, cold and dark
2023-01-18 0
Idk man, this seems less like a USA/Canada comparison and more a LA-NYC/Vancouver-Toronto comparison. (I know there were more generalities for each country, don't @ me) I been around both countries and they are a lot more alike than dissimilar. That being said, Canada is super chill
2023-01-18 0
Have you ever been to Western Canada like Alberta, saskatchewan, manitoba.
2023-01-18 0
Been wanting to move to Canada, but the housing cost to income ratio is unfortunate
2023-01-17 1
I love love love this conversation!!!! Born and raised in Atlanta Georgia.\n\nHonestly, it makes me wish I had enough money to afford a second place in Canada. I have traveled the world, Europe, Africa, all over the Americas, and the Pacific, however, I have never been to Canada! At 53 years old and a black American man.., Canada sounds SOOOOO APPEALING!!!! I wish I could own a condo there or something!!! Sounds just LOVELY!!!

In the US I am used to being gay butt raped about 30 to 40 times a month, when I went to Canada to visit it was more like only 5 to 10 times a month, I couldn't believe how good my butt felt not getting so raped all the time.

Bro, Preach isn't lying. I had to limit myself on Bread and Cheese in order to lose weight cause of my slow metabolism. Chicken and chocolate milk is what I had to eat to go from 260lbs to 180lbs from age 26 to age 40. I feel awesome now, I'm in better shape and love myself for it.\n\nAlso, Northern tap water...Canada, Alaska.....AMAZING!!!!! Omg it's so delicious.

He said, the one thing we got in Canada that the states don’t have… I thought y’all was gonna say puotine.?
2023-01-17 0
No hate but I thought Canada has similar rates of crime with a lower population.
2023-01-17 0
It's cheaper to live in Dallas Texas than Montreal, which is one of the cheapest cities to live in Canada, so I don't know where you're getting lower cost of living (and yeah I heard you're trying to compare apples to apples, but this is impossible and honestly, wtf would someone want to live in a crime ridden city like NYC? Which btw is around the same housing cost as Vancouver..)\n\nAlso, I'm not sure if you guys pay taxes, but this is a HUGE factor; take home income in Canada is much lower, and when you consider Americans get paid the same as us but in US funds, their taxes are a joke, so their disposable income is much higher.\n\nCanada is a country where mediocrity is celebrated, it's a good country for average intelligence type people who don't or won't earn high incomes , who don't want to own businesses - yeah it's perfect for them , but I was born and raised here , and trust me seeing 60-65% of my income going to cumulative taxes is disgusting.\n\nOh and for the record, someone earning average income of $50k in Canada gives up 46% of that to cumulative taxes - this is a fact you guys seemed to have left out.\n\nFor good looking women, bro once again, Montreal born and raised, the quality has dropped severely - a lot of hairy legged far leftist anglo types taking over, it's not what it used to be....\n\nLived in both, once again, Canada celebrates its mediocrity, the US is where you go to make bank and build a business - And Toronto is the most racially self segregated city in the world....

TBH most of Canada's population is all south of the country, personally I would love to visit the rural areas of Canada untouched because even rural areas in the USA happen to be pretty much crowded. I love the peace and quiet.

ok, i've got a deal for you. you come down to the states, Kansas and surrounding area, specifically. I'll show you some spots where you can find tons of real food. REAL food. Also, we have well water here. doesn't taste like the city water. you get good clean water where I'm from. Then, you show me around where the good food is in Canada. We can learn from each other. There are some gooooooood spots out here. I wanna see what you have. I'm not trying to call anyone out. I just want to explore the stuff out there. Never been to montreal.

How are the taxes like in Canada? Here in California the tax is SUPER high. They take like 40% out your pay check it’s highway robbery!

sAs someone who has experienced living in both America and Canada. One thing I think Aba and Preach forgot to mention is the cost of produce. In Canada and more specifically Montreal the cost of Produce is higher than anywhere else in north America (From my limited experience). A Block of cheese costs a tank of gas. I have lived in a few places around the world and I have to say the cost of food for whatever reason is so much higher in Quebec. Items can easily be twice the price here.

One big L in Canada is that you can’t buy alcohol at a corner store or gas station. Ended up finding out you need to go to government certified liquor store to get any kind of booze.
2023-01-17 0
Also a con about Canada is our grocery store and our cellphone company....we pay alot more than our American neighbor when it comes to cellphone bills...also the grocery stores are owned by the same person so they are gauging prices . There's no competition...so they can set the prices at wtv they want...I agree that flight prices here are flipping ridiculous!!!!. Why is it costing me 600$ to fly from MTL to Toronto???...what alot of us Canadians Do is drive to an airport in the states and then fly cuz it's that much cheaper
2023-01-17 0
Tha tap water thing has me shock damn that alone would make me wanna live in Canada. The tap water in New Mexico is not healthy.
2023-01-17 2
Haven't lived in Canada but been to Toronto a few times. I'm from Atlanta, GA and I think the southern hospitality is still true for us. In downtown Toronto, when interacting with people, I didn't get that. Customs acted like they didn't want to let us in the country and were rude (I'm sure the US is like this too), and the Canadians I came into contact weren't very friendly. I didn't bother anyone, minded my business but when having to interact or passing folks in the street, I didn't have a good experience.
2023-01-17 0
preach only went off of Florida and New York girls and thats it- I guess lmao. only going off thee most roughest States... like go to the south- not Atlanta, they're different but southern are so different. so thats why im like? cali too like no, go to the south like Texas, MAYBE Alabama, Mississippi , NORTH/SOUTH Carolina. but I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE that nyc women are rough... as a southern belle lmao I look at them like wild animals- sorry- like men. thats why I can be there for 3-5 says top, some of the stuff I agree with. but I do need to go to Canada.

Population of Canada -- 38 million. Population of US -- 332 million. Population of Canada's largest city 2.7 million population of US's largest city 8.4 million. More people, more problems.

I'm moving to Canada most likely. I like being in Canada a lot
2023-01-17 0
Canada and Europe for sure you pay more taxes but you get soo much more for it. Gov covers you when you retire or want to have kids. Public transportation amazing college is free some spots in Europe pay you to go to college. Quality of life way better
2023-01-17 0
So let me get this straight, when Trump was President and Americans wanted to move to Canada, y'all said they shouldn't and you gave reasons why, but it's ok for you motherfuckers do move to Canada?
2023-01-17 0
Either way us is better than Canada hands down
2023-01-17 0
Id like to find a job in Canada, Toronto or Montreal, to experience the place, but Im scared of the cold.
2023-01-17 0
I would never live in Canada. They’re so far gone with the hyper-progressive nonsense, the covid restrictions, arresting ppl for using the wrong words. Pfft, that country will never see me.
2023-01-17 0
Canada is my dream country. I'm going to move there one day.
2023-01-17 0
Yea my spidey senses have dulled since being in Canada
2023-01-17 0
