Longer Trudeau and the liberals stay in power, with the help of the NDP, the greater number of people will be leaving....it will take a decade for Canada to recover from the last 8 years of liberal rule.

I lived in Canada all my life it used to be a great country to live but government has destroyed the country especially the liberals and the majority of people live in Ontario and Quebec and most people in those provinces are liberals and found the best provinces to live in are Alberta and British Columbia but don’t live in Vancouver, Trudeau has destroyed Canada I’m retired now and I can’t afford to live in Canada and eat up all my savings I moved to Santa Cruz Bolivia where I lose 25% of my pension but I live a comfortable happy life here people are polite and friendly I left Canada in 2018 and I’ll never move back to Canada again

I was born in Canada, yet even I am tempted to leave it. Trudeau's both Jr & Sr have certainly ruined it (and probably forever). I would also like to add that I wish you and your family all the best, but it's too bad things have deteriorated as they have for all of us, whatever religious or political beliefs to the point that we just don't like it here anymore. My dad's best friend moved to Canada in the 90's when I was a kid...we had some amazing trips out there. I always considered it to be the best example of compassionate capitalism & democracy. This is a very thoughtful and balanced review. As a retired Canadian who had a good job for most of my life, I'm saddened by the decline in almost all areas of life, lifestyle and and people's aspirations in this country. This decline actually seems quite rapid, I would say from 2015 onwards. Housing in major centres was expensive, but it has skyrocketed in the past decade. There has been a decline in many institutions: 1. health-care, especially noticeable since the pandemic that coincided with many boomer medical staff retiring, but also by our sclerotic institutions refusing to enable foreign-trained doctors to work here. Many foreign-trained doctors in the Vancouver area are doing jobs way below their qualifications while many people cannot even get a family doctor. Crazy. Econonically, there seems to have been no plan at all from the government as we exited the pandemic. At least the US had a plan, to 'build back better'. Our government just floats along as if everything is fine, when the decline is very visible especially to older Canadians. We have admitted 1/2 a million people a year from overseas, so our economy should reflect this and show an upswing. But no, we're in a 'technical recession' as of December and probably a real recession as of last week. I have never voted Conservative in my life, but Trudeau is a flaky dimwit with a famous name who has no clue what he is doing. A fool, in fact. He's mismanaged our foreign relations beyond belief, and nothing has improved domestically. When Pierre Poilievre says 'Canada is broken', I believe it. We deserve much better leadership; in Canada's case, the rot does come from the top. Justin the entitled idiot is much more like his mother than his father.\n\nLong rant. I visit Canada regularly since the late 90th. I saw a steady decline in the last years. Get rid of Trudeau and his bad politics. The sad thing is that this happens to many western countries. Currently I live in Germany. The loss of wealth and confidence due to damage done to the economy by the current government is mind blowing. People are angry. Ok....I've lived in Singapore for the last 33 years, graduated from the University of Alberta with an Electrical Engineering degree. Worked 1 year in the arctic in 1989 then was offered a job in Singapore in 1990 and never looked back. There are MASSIVE engineering opportunities in Asia, its nothing like Canada. \nIf you have to deal with the Canadian government from outside the country your quickly realize that Canada is run by....children. The high commission is a joke, the over seas PP stuff is a joke, its all a joke. They could just copy the legislation that Australia has but they don't, it a complete amateur joke.\nCrime in Singapore? There is almost zero. \nTaxes? Singapore taxes are 1/4 of that in Canada plus there are no capital gains tax in Singapore. Dont move to Canada until Trudeau is gone!

Oh as a second note, if any immigrant is watching this and is considering moving here. DON'T. And it's not because your not wanted which by the way is a growing trend with Canadians wanting less immigration. But simply for the fact that Trudeau and his policies for the past 8 years has damaged this nation beyond recognition. There is a good chance you'll end up with a low wage job or pan handling to make money (I've seen such a massive increase in immigrant pan handlers the past few years, it's unsettling). Its going to take at least a decade of reversing and implementing new policies to get Canada back on track to where it was 10 years ago, then take another decade to catch up to where it should be now. So if you do end up here and didn't heed my warning, then at the very least DO NOT VOTE LEFT (Liberal, NDP, Green) because it's these parties especially Liberals that has gotten us to this point.

Very good objective video. I grew up in Toronto and had many great experiences in the city as well as commuting from west Toronto into the city for five years of high school (grade 9 to grade13). At an very early age I used to fearlessly ride buses, street cars and the subway system with no concerns of crime or potential violence in my mind. I wouldn't suggest this now for a young person unless you have 2 or 3 marshal arts black belts in your resume! The very same circumstances exist in Vancouver...quite possibly x's 2. My family and I now live a short distance east of Vancouver, but the city has changed about 10,000% since I lived there from the late '70's to the late '90's. I don't mind saying that I believe most of the problems/issues in Toronto, Vancouver and many other cities in Canada have been accentuated by poor policy decisions at all levels of government...municipal, provincial and federal...particularly since 2015 aka the J Trudeau era. Canada about 20 years ago and before that actually use to be a really nice place to live in. However Canadians voted in two disastrous political leaders that have ruined Canada. Where ever you are in the world choose your political leaders wisely otherwise if you choose poorly once great place to live in like Canada once was can be turned into a hellhole by terrible political leaders and their underlings..

Great video, candid and honest appraisal of the current situation in Canada. We moved to Canada from the UK 20 years ago and initially we loved every minute. But the slow spiral into the hell hole since Trudeau took power has totally changed our opinion of Canada. We have now retired and spend winter in the USA and considering leaving if Trudeau gets re-elected next time around. i've been living in vancouver all my life (43 years) and trust me, it wasn't like this before.. sure, it wasn't perfect but since trudeau and his liberal minions took over in 2015, everything started to go downhill and canada became a hellhole.

I can understand why people want to leave or not come to Canada, weather, cold weather can last up to six months and the summer isn’t always that great. Another reason, taxes…. Canadians are taxed to death here, you are taxed on everything here and if you make good money and aren’t paying enough taxes, you could pay a good chunk come tax time. Job market sucks, there are lots of jobs but these jobs don’t pay the greatest. Cost of living has skyrocketed over the years and in my personal opinion, since Justin Trudeau has been PM, everything has doubled in cost, so many people are struggling, many young couples can’t afford a house, rent has been on the rise over the years and so many people rely on the food banks, the highest it’s ever been in Canadian history, crime has gone up and drug use has also gone up and oddly enough, ever since Trudeau has been in charge and I’m sure some will disagree with this but Canada was never like this before Trudeau.

I have two words for you that explain much of the dissatisfaction....Justin Trudeau. Too many illegal immigrants with few job skills, little education and no English language skills have put a huge strain on Canada's healthcare system and on Canada's far too generous social welfare services. We have an idiotic Prime Minister who prioritizes virtue signalling over implementing economically sound policies. But here's a news flash. If you think Canada is an expensive place to live, why don't you go to Japan, Scandinavia or western Europe? They're welcome to you. If you, however, want to work hard and contribute to society and don't expect free government handouts, you are still welcome here. We don't need or want any more freeloading ingrates here.

I even wrote to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding the CEBA program for businesses, suggesting some changes to the eligibility criteria. They followed through, and Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau sent a detailed response, signed by him but likely written by his staff, explaining the revised criteria and suggesting other potential programs. Provincially, my MP's staff guided me through various programs. Ultimately, I received nearly everything I needed to survive and potentially thrive through the pandemic (to be confirmed in 2024).\n\nTaxes are high, but I feel safe in Quebec City. Crime rates are low, and I've experienced little racism, possibly due to my fluency in French. Starting a business here has been easy, with minimal costs and bureaucracy.\n\nAs a gay man, I've never felt endangered. I can comfortably express affection for my spouse in public without feeling judged.\n\nHealthcare, including access to medication and doctor consultations, is extremely affordable. Super Clinics offer next-day appointments at no cost.\n\nI own a commercial condo for my business, which cost significantly less than it would have in Toronto or Vancouver. Since the liberals with the leadership of Justin Trudeau took over, 10 years ago, in the federal government, Canada has become a pathetic place to live. Socialism has destroyed the entrepreneurial spirit. Taxes are very high and professional immigrants can not practice their occupation since it is not recognized by the government. The government prints money and gives generous handouts to those that don’t work with the result that the debt has reached uncharted territories and the Canadian dollar has lost more than 35% of its value against the U.S. dollar. Healthcare is horrible since you have to wait for months to see a medical professional or have an operation. The country is run by monopolies and oligopolies in banking, and telecommunications. To buy or rent a house is extremely expensive. Finally the winters are long and cold and when you see the sun you feel is a real treat!

I'm Canadian-born but was visiting Turkey last June (I'm not Turkish in any manner). It was the first time that I thought of leaving Canada. I'm Christian and even a moderate-conservative Islamic Country felt more normal than Canada. I agree that the Zionists now control the Canadian Government. I live in Ontario Canada. Generally; I vote Liberal. I voted Trudeau in twice.... now regretting it a little bit. He has done some good for me; but also bad.\nCanada started plummeting after COVID hit; and it has gotten worse. The main errors made by this government are with both the Liberals and Conservatives agreeing to 'grown' big corporates into HUGE monopoly corporates. TO compete with the USA. Due to this; we are now paying food prices through our ears!! Crazy. Also; there seems to be a level of corruption regarding the housing issue. No affordable housing. Not enough homes built. Only the rich can afford homes now. Government gets to tax that; and they love it! The rich class have more clout in voting for a government that aids them in making more and more money that they rob from the POOR house renters. The lower and middle class. As the Middle class in Canada is now becoming poor. The rich get much richer. This government is trying to bring in thousands of immigrants to stimulate the economy. But mostly; the immigrants have taken over all the lower Canadian jobs. We can't get them anymore. Because immigrants work cheap here; and sign onto contract deals with mega-corps that ensure they keep working for 2 years. Job entry level Canadians (are left without). There are also not nearly enough houses for immigrants to live in anyway! This government did not anticipate that we simply do not have enough homes for immigrants, nor Canadians alike!! What a fail. Healthcare is also failing huge... mostly thanks to the Conservatives who love to block almost every good healthcare BIll possible.
