As a Canadian living in Medellin Colombia I can confidently say that only losers live in Canada. ??

I’ve visited Canada a few times. The place baffles me. It’s basically an economic zone with no cultural personality. The only thing Canadians seem to believe in is being “really nice” and passively accepting anything and everything that is “progressive.” What is the point of Canada?

Moving to a new country is challenging...don't exaggerate the shortcomings of Canada

I've been in Canada for nearly 25 years and have never had a family doctor, just walk in clinics. In Victoria BC the average waiting time in a walk in clinic is 2 hours 20mins and they close once they've seen their quota of patients. Not to mention I have to pay 60% of my income on rent so I now rent a parking space of a friend and live in my van

Remember, you are free to criticize Canada, as its an Anglo country and culture and its values laws very much allow for that, in fact encourage that. But also remember, that you come from some third world shithole where criticizing the country you live in can and in most cases definitely will have serious repercussions. Not to mention, I hope all your criticisms of Canada are of Canada standing alone and not relative to anywhere else because hey, its still the number 1 or number 2 highest standard of living nation in the world.

Much of Canada is too cold most of the year, some people go on winter vacation but most people are too poor so just huddle under blankets in their cold houses for months at a time.

Once upon a time Canada was a peacekeeping nation... not anymore...once upon a time Vancouver was beautiful.. now it is a has been city.. drug addicts everywhere, homelessness way out of control..my sister and my nephw moved to Vancouver in 2020 they both have walked by a dead person on the street... whether it be from a drug overdose or exposure to heat or cold.. last winter my sister said the homeless people gathered around streetlamps for heat... I left Canada in 2021 never to return.

Tap water can be pretty hard in parts of Canada though (calcite deposits accumulating on your faucets and stuff). I noticed that a lot in Waterloo, ON and I think other cities around there like Guelph, Cambridge, Brantford, London have similar issues. \n\nThunder Bay, Toronto and Montreal tap water was really nice though.

I’m American and when I was a kid I went through a phase where I only wanted to watch Canadian shows. Degrassi, My Goldfish is Evil, 6Teen, Total Drama Island, Ed Edd n Eddy, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Big Comfy Couch, Life with Derek, etc. Whenever I would see that Canadian logo in the credits I’d get so excited. And I live in Metro Detroit so all the time I was making my parents drive me to Canada on weekends and we’d hang out in Windsor. For some reason I really liked to look at the milk that came in plastic bags? I was fully OBSESSED

But isn’t Canada changing a lot because of the stuff the gov has been doing lately?
