As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. I think the US president is making the US economy worse, taxes and prices in the country will increase, and relations with other countries will not be good. Since taking office, he has only focused on the small number of rich people with a lot of money, while 90% of the population is struggling with prices and taxes, so he has nothing to care about. What did the American people vote for him to do? To make people's lives better, to have more jobs, to make taxes better...etc. He only talks but has not done anything. The words of a rich person like him are not trustworthy.

I am a proud Canadian and embrace our sovereignty. We fought in WW2 for two years before the U.S joined our side . Rescued 6 of their diplomats in Iran in 1979. We were at their side in Afghanistan after the horrors of 9/11. Our good people of Gander Newfoundland sheltered, clothed and fed them in that aftermath when their planes were grounded. We sent planes to Los Angeles as did Mexico to fight the wildfires after Trump imposed his tariffs and pushed his annex ideology and making us a 51st state. That was a slap in the face to every soldier who died standing for our country and what we represent. From my heart I thank all of you for your support. As an American Donald Trump was a mistake. It's time for the American people to wake up and admit their mistakes. An inflated ego is not good. As an American, I am very sad to see our neighbors and friends pull away from us. All of these decades of working together to achieve the greater good for the world; destroyed by one man's selfishness, greed, and delusion. I have never felt more proud to be a Canadian, it’s a good feeling, I was almost brought to tears earlier thinking about it. And it’s interesting to note that it is overriding the fear of the consequences of Donald’s actions. Here’s where I can’t help but think of you, our fellow North Americans. The good people of the USA, I hold you in my heart. For you don’t have that boost that comes from feeling proud of your country. I can’t say I’ve ever known what that is like. Just so it's known but America has never been self-sufficient. We have always been reliant on others with good trade and fairness towards each other. My grandparents went through ww2 and had to go through rations on everything from gas, oil to food and tires. You got a book for everything and had to tear them out to get your products.
