Yes you have do everything yourself when you’re abroad, you don’t have the luxury of having a domestic help,specially when you’re so used to of that kind of lifestyle, but it keeps you busy, and if you’re not in to it, then, yes India is better for you.

Also to your point on the schooling system being better in India - a big laugh. Indian education is mostly about rote learning. Who cares if they teach subjects at a later age? QoL, safe society, clean air etc. are non tangible factors that are often overlooked. Yes, you have to struggle for 3-4 years, but the grass is definitely greener. And to your point related to having to do everything yourself - yes, they don't have cheap labour to provide you with that comfort, however, the products are well designed to convene on your own.

Its funny when people talk about the quality of Canadian health care. For example, BC Cancer is one of the best in the world. Canada is on the cutting edge of many health care procedures. Yes, its hard to get a primary care physician but that is because the US is throwing enormous amounts of cash at Canadian doctors and nurses. Canada still keeps up pretty darn well especially when considering Canada has only a FRACTION of the US population and much fewer resources and funds available. My family has never suffered from our health care system in the past 60 years. 1 family member had a quadruple bypass - no bills 2) cancer - no bills 3) emergency c-section w air transport to city 400 mils away - $360 for air ambulance 4) emergency appendectomy - no bills 5) Heart atttack w stint - no bill 6) MRI and CATscans - No bills 6) 3 ADHD diagnosis w mental health care support - no bills 7) industrial accident with crushed hand - no bills 8) Electrical accident with burns throughout body - no bills 9) burns from an oil fire - no bills 10) fall into fire pit w subsequent 3rd degree burns on leg - no bills 11) leg amputation from type 1 diabetes - no bills. And then there are all the little things that happen day to day. In each event, we received top notch care and services. So, you might earn more in the US but we save more in Canada and very few suffer from it. A lot of complaints? Most bad experiences are shared whereas positive ones are not. I think if people on both sides really looked, the US health care fails many more people per capital on a daily basis than in Canada. US insurers are known to abandoned people when they become overly expensive and its not unusual to not have choices in drugs or care options.

I felt this video was just a rant about how she could not adjust herself in canada because she had always lead a struggle free and spoon fed life in india. Dude I leave in canada too and all the hardships you described were the least I including many of the people who described their experience leaving here are concerned for but we are fighting against those and struggling and thus now are able to live a stable life. Because we know what it is meant by struggling you had options in india but many belong to the lower middle class life and we don't even get the chance that you just enjoyed and rant about. and yes adjusting in a new country is a hassle but that is something you already have to keep in mind before going there.

I married my spouse and moved to the United States from Canada. Before, I didn't give the US much thought and merely loved travelling to a few of the locations. Having said that, even after spending five years there, I have never witnessed a country and a population as divided as the US. You proudly display your flag, yet you're so racist, illiterate, and a bible-thumper that it disgusts me. The United States is not the most free country in the world, despite what the public believes and thinks. In reality, it is also depressing to observe how the healthcare system handles people. The social safety net is completely missing, and by that I mean that most jobs don't pay for maternity leaves or vacations unless you work at a senior level or for a high-end company. The political system is so rigged that it is understandable why people are tired of voting every two years, and perhaps even every year. Most certainly, especially since your elections begin almost exactly when the previous one finished. I suppose I could go on forever, but I'll stop here. Although Canada is not perfect, is not free from controversy or problems, and is not the best at everything, we are able to concede defeat, acknowledge that someone was wrong or that we might have done better, work together with one another, and express that we are SORRY. I moved from small town British Columbia to Houston Texas about 32 years ago. Was very lucky to be able to live in several different states in those 32 years. In the beginning of 2023 I moved back up to Canada (temporarily) and I cannot wait to get back to United States. \n\nAlthough I love Canada, because it is my homeland, it is simply not anything close to what the United States is. While, both countries have their warts, the United States is, and always will be, simply better in measurable every way.\n\nWhen I hear somebody talk about the free healthcare in Canada, I remind them that there are no doctors available. I remind them how high their taxes are and how long of a wait there is to get any sort of operation. Yes, it’s more expensive than the United States, but for my dollar the care is better and I can get it quicker.\n\nDon’t even get me started about the economy up here, it’s ridiculous.\n\nCanadians are polite? I drive a car with US plates and I’ve been told to go back to where I came from more times than I can count. You might say I must be a jerk to have that got a response but I assure you. As a Canadian I am actually going to set up a business that's taking advantage of America's horrible healthcare system. I actually wanted to move to the United States every since I was a teen ager. I take my pet to the vet in the US because the price in Canada is insane. Pets are not covered for health care and they really ding you for something as simple as dental work on a dog. It was going to cost us $1500 to have my pet’s teeth PULLED in Canada and it was only $500 in the US. A significant difference! So that is one positive thing about the US that is better than Canada. Also US turkeys are cheaper and juicier than in Canada. It has always been a tradition to get turkeys, cheese, milk, shoes, different flavoured chips, and gas when we cross over. Lol! After visiting the US regularly and vacationing, I do love Canada better because of Health Care. It is a big deal. You folks in the US should be fighting harder for it since it is the norm in Canada and the UK. Yes, we really pay for it in our taxes, but you don’t feel it as much if something bad happens.

Currently, America is more than frightening. The political system has really become a total mess. A two-party system (basically YES or NO) does not cater to the many grey areas of politics. The choice right now seems to be Fascist or Liberal. That's it! It was not like that during most of my professional life. Thanks to my job, I had a Green Card. But, I also could travel with little difficulty...especially in the South and Mid-West. Why? Well, because I had blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. I never got used to states where everyone was walking around with a gun. It scared the hell out of me. As a commercial film director and writer, (unique services - hence the Green Card) I worked just about everywhere in the US. The North East is the most similar to Canada. But get down south, and people were literally walking around with holsters and revolvers on their hips. I never felt completely safe. But America is also a great country full of opportunities and if you are educated and a professional, the money is also great. All Canadians love their Healthcare and Social Safety Net. Generally, I think Canadians are more socially evolved and better educated. Your educational system is awful. And the Bible Belt States are anything but Christian. It's hate and fear-based. Hi Tyler , I'm Canadian and i had to have emergency surgery to have a bad gallbladder removed, went in on a Friday evening was admited fairly quickly , had the surgery later that night ( 5 hours ,best sleep ever..lol) , recovery on the Sat and Sunday , and was out by Monday afternoon . While yes we have longer wait times for non life threating issues but when you are in danger our heath care is there . The biggest problem is that because it is free , ppl will go to the emergency room for minor things and tie up the system with trivial matters making the wait times longer.

Heard on average it cost around $25000 just to have a child in the US. NO thank you going into debt just to have a kid. Here in Canada free no matter what. Also rather be free then availability. I dont rush to the hospital because of minor sickness like everyone else here does then complains about the wait times. Also dont put myself in dangerous situations to get myself hurt. Some people are so scared about death or wanting attention just go to the hospital for the dumbest reasons. Maine, Montana, colorado, washington state usually are way colder during winter months and also get alot more snow. My humble request to all those Indians who are unhappy in Canada, may please leave Canada immediately and return back to India. The fact is this that when you are kicked and rejected in India then you think of shifting to another country. Canada is one of the best country in the world for those who are not scared of working hard. One who works hard progresses fast. This respected lady is used to servants and domestic helps, that one cannot get here. I am here for just 7 years and I am a senior citizen but me & my wife got very good jobs and enjoying life. I can't talk from a point of experience in Canada but from a point of experience in Kenya. Yes things are tough everywhere but I believe things are tuffer here in Kenya, well unless you have a good job, good business or money to invest. I have done of research about Canada, Germany, UK and even Finland. What I have learnt is that opportunities are there as opposed to Kenya. Here in Kenya it's doesn't matter if you have a skill, or papers getting a job is not easy and even harder is getting a good paying job. Most people makes less 10 CAdollars per day which today 1000 or 30 per month minimum wage in Canada is i guess 14.5 in the less expensive provinces. If you work 14 hours per \nDay which I believe possible you have about uko na 20k in ksh, pay tax of maybe 30% combined you have about 130 cad per day work for 25 days in a month you will have about 3250 net stay in most affordable place(hujaenda raha) you can get 1250 in low cost province (not Ontario or BC though here minimum wage iko juu), groceries and expenses budget 1000 per month you can save about 100k ksh pm, save in Cad for few years stay like a student on the budget but work like a donkey. Come back home in few years lets say 5 with save coins probably CAD will trading at 150 coz the hit shilling is taking mind-blowing. You need a second job and the more you earn the more you're taxed.\nEven those high skilled people can only live comfortably only as working couple because as a single high skilled person even if you make more than $100k a year for you to live a good life here isn't easy. Yes of course, it's still better than the most african countries, but for those doing well in Africa already don't come here, come when you're hardly earning a living in Africa. \nNB: People who make $100k in Canada are less than 11% of the whole population. 1. Canada's immigration is primarily skilled labour. Non- skilled labour is imported mostly from the Carribean countries especially Jamaica and you have to leave every year and come back in the next. So, that can be disruptive, but I've met Jamaican's who've been on those programs and done well as well as those who haven't.\n2. If you come to Canada illegally utakipata. Be prepared to hustle for long.\n3. Since Covid everything has become very expensive especially housing. \n4. The videos you've shown of people sleeping outside is because of an increase in the influx of refugees wanting to come to Canada. Refugee shelters are allocated money in the budget for what the Govt estimates will be the number of refugees they'll take in, but there's been an influx lately.\n- A point to note though, ALL refugees Canada received from Ukraine had jobs within 2 months. Why? very skilled labour.\n- Canada's refugee policy is much more lenient than in the US and thus most refugees have been coming to Canada even from the US. The US ones have since been blocked by an agreement signed by both countries.\n5. Are there jobs in Canada? YES, but they require certain skills. Yes we have so many unregulated agents who are applying for visit visas which doesn't allow you to work. The only option is to destroy identity documents and seek refugee status afresh . If you can answer any 2 out of these 3 questions with a 'Yes' you should definitely not come to Canada.\n1. Can you open up a tap/faucet anywhere in your home country and drink water without any worries of filtering it or boiling it?\n2. Do you make enough money or already have enough money to be able to breathe fresh clean air 24/7?\n3. Do you feel safe if you, your spouse or your children have to travel alone in the city or on the highway in middle of the night using public or personal transport?\n\nI don't know about where you are, a good lot of people would answer these 3 questions with a YES in Canada.

I think that Toronto has become the victim of either its own success as a multicultural, diverse and growing metropolis or the perceived idea that Toronto is the place to be. And what that brings with it? Yes, people who are interested in living the life and those who can afford it pay it. So to me the problem is with the lack of contro of the real estate market. And people who cant pay but for whatever reason live there just have to pay the price. The refugee situation is not surprising to me at all. We are struggling with affordable housing for crying out loud but we are also advertising to the world that we are that welcoming and peaceful society that those people can be part of. But at what cost. Toronto cannot continue like this if it will still be considered as a city for the people and not the wealthy and chronically increasing poor. No wonder they chose a progressive for a mayor and not a conservative or hard line liberal because people want change but not radically. To Everyone bad mouthing Toronto I got a few thoughts to share. First off I’ve lived in Edmonton all my life. But growing up there were two constants in my life almost every summer. 2 places where I could get away have fun not come back for weeks or even months on end. One of them was Toronto . That trend has continued into my 40s.\nSecond I don’t consider Edmonton home. I consider Toronto and my other favourite place my homes always have always will.\nThird Toronto like Every other city has bad and great things about it. But the great things far outweigh the bad things. Yes Toronto is big. But it’s also beautiful vibrant majestic lovely a sight to behold once you visited it long enough. Many immigrants find the first few years difficult because of the job ethics. The job ethics here in Canada is quite different from Nigerian with a laidback background. In Canada you work for every cent and it has really worked for them and some of us. I have employed so many Africans especially Nigerians who thought I am mean because they have to work for every penny. You are not paid to come and have a chitchat at work or spend 5 hours on something that could take you 3 hours to do. I will say if you can't change your work ethics and try to integrate into the Canadian system please stay back in your country. I have also seen people who have been clouded with that high life they lived back home and find it difficult to Start at the bottom. Even if you are living a good life in Nigeria, Canada is a better place to live if you can unlearn some things and relearn other things.\nAnd is there systemic racism? The answer is YES. Respect their journey and experience but I also somehow got my Australian PR around the same year they completed their studies. The difference is that they completed bachelors and I did my masters there. I agree to some of things but overall it isn’t tough to get PR in australia if you have right skill and knowledge. Never had issue in finding part time job, had to groom myself a little for the permanent jobs, but eventually got into corporate jobs easily. Yes, had to do IELTS a few times to get 7 each but eventually got it and the points were completed because my age was appropriate. Basically I thought that they just wasted so much time just like that because they didn’t plan their migration properly. Wasted so much money and time in moving here and there just like that.

Yes this is sad for the individual. But we have all seen the marbles ted talk. If you haven't it is basically the idea that the US can only take a drop in the bucket when it comes to immigrants. Even if we took the same percentage as Canada did, its still nothing compared to the amout of people trying to get in. Canadian (Albertan here) - yes, i don't think i'd move to the States unless it was reasonably close (maybe Montana) with fewer people - i'd like to identify as a Hermit :). I motorcycle and have travelled majority of the States, from coast to coast, and i really do like the country side and scenery, and history, that you run through. I do a 4000-6000 mile tripe every year or two - did Tennessee last year, and Colorado this summer. A lot of absolutely amazing country really, and yes some really great people as well. Have run into some real odd people as well and some places i wanted to get out of pretty quick. I do like the fact the US hasn't bought into this woke agenda and politically correctness - it's absolutely nuts up here. I like the gun laws in the States, too bad we're so screwed over that in Canada. Gotta love Trump - may be a bit of a bozo but hey - the guy lays it out and owns his shit, every other polititician plays the blame game and does everything politically correct... End of day, i'd prefer to stay in Canada, either Alberta or British Columbia.

Hi Tyler, born and raised Cdn here. I have American relatives and ancestors. I spent a lot of time going to the States to visit them when I was young and US felt like our big brother back then. Nice, clean, safe, fun and just big. Heck, when I was 15 I even took the Greyhound bus from Toronto to San Francisco. I've been back a few times but last was in 2015. Lkg to come back maybe this Christmas. I know media is biased but to give you some explanation, we don't have guns up here to the extent you guys do. Of course we have crime and sick things do happen up here but, we don't have to fear that every single person we come in to contact w is packin a gun. And the news intensifies our fear of that one aspect of your country's culture. And yes, the amount of mass shootings at schools terrifies us. I am sad to also see the political extremism in the US now. I miss the US of my childhood and certainly do agree, small town rural people are salt of the earth there. I even found New Yorkers nicer than Torontonians.

In the past 2 years I have had 5 crainiotomies, 1 kidney removed and a hernia. Looking at this in the USA, this would cost me over $3, 000, 000 for my care. I would be bankrupt. You say that the health insurance cost ONLY a couple of hundred dollars a month ($2400 a year) ... here, I pay NOTHING per month. Most insurance plans in the USA hve a few THOUSAND dollar deductible on top of the monthly payment. Yes, I do pay higher taxes than in the USA but the social programs are worth it ... INCLUDING HEALTH CARE. There is also a reason why the Canadian lapel pin is worn by Americans in when they go to Europe. There is also a reason why part of the French landscape is Canadian soil (Vimy Ridge ... France gave the area to Canada as a THANK YOU for what we did during WW1). The Netherlands sends Canada 1000's of tulips to Canada every year thanking Canada for making part of the maternity ward in Ottawa Hospital Dutch soil. Queen Jiliana gave birth to Margriet and the only way to stay in line for the thrrone was to be born on Dutch soil ... Ottawa complied. Canada also liberated the Netherlands in WW2.

The numbers in this presentation is slanted. Yes average incomes in the US are higher than Canada’s. But average incomes are slanted due to the wealth inequality of the number of multi billionaires in the US. If you take into consideration median income, which is a much more effective calculation of wealth distribution Canadians actually make more than Americans. Even accounting for PPP. We are also more educated, have a much greater literacy rate, live longer and healthier, and have a higher quality of life rating.

I'm Canadian and worked in Dertoit for almost 10 years, I crossed the border daily working for GM. I've also done work in Louisiana, Indiana and all around Michigan. \nAmerica has some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a beautiful country and has a ton to offer anyone with an ounce of drive. The variety you have in your economy is amazing, we don't have a lot of choice when we buy stuff, you guys have so much more to choose from, take restaurants for example, I've never seen so many chain restaurants in one place, we have a handful of them. \nFrom what I've seen, there's also a lot of poverty, crime and violence, but that's literally everywhere right now, even here in Canada, we don't prosecute violent crime anymore. The gun issue is probably the biggest problem...I always felt extremely vulnerable out in public, especially driving, because I assumed everyone had a gun on them, I seen so many random guns on people, it just blew my mind. I always had to keep in mind when I was driving not to road-rage...That's how you get shot. The health care industry in America is nothing but a business model designed to bankrupt people. Our system isn't great at all...nothing to boast about. If you have to visit the ER at any hospital, you'd better bring food and water, you'll be there at least 8 hours before you're even seen by a doctor. Our health care is free yes, but we're taxed to death here because of it. I do indeed wish we had a 2-teir health care system, I want the option to pay to get seen soonest. America and Canada have free(ish) speech. We're both being ruled by leftist loonies, but that's all changing in our next respective election cycles. Biden and Trudeau will be shown the door and we can hopefully get back to healthy debate and more conversation in society...Instead of automatically dismissing each other, vitriolic badgering one another and hating each other. We had unity for a brief time, we all saw it, after 9/11 happened. We put our petty crap aside and saw each other as brothers and sisters. That didn't last very long and we've been in a constant state of crisis ever since. The media has driven a huge nail right through society, and takes a blow at every single issue we face, making it Left vs Right...\nIt's unfortunate to say, but it's going to take something truly devastating, possibly on a biblical scale, for us to come together again.

This is highly biased just because they have moved to Canada doesn’t necessarily mean that Australia is any less .Both are DEVELOPED nations to be very precise .Australia has the highest wedge rates and yes as compared it’s hard to get into Australia than Canada because Australia is more into skilled workers it’s twice the size of India with only 2.5 cr of population and they manage their population and jobs at their best which is commendable and the same is with Canada as well .Every country has their own norms and have their pros and cons just because one couple has faced some issue with Australia doesn’t necessarily mean all the people have faced the same thing again it depends on the field you are working at . Covid has changed perspective and situations of every country one more Point Australia has never entered recession in 4 decades that’s a great point to consider . There is nothing wrong if these developed nations having strict barriers to consider people from outside as they want to manage things at their best be it for their own or international people living their which is the best thing any country can do for themselves and most importantly what people need to understand if they are from developing nations is that any developed country will be difficult be it CANDA ,AUSTRALIA etc nothing comes easy so to anyone getting little inclined towards any country I will highly recommend to have an intensive research on this as moving to any developed nations is not easy people have different mindset and perception you can decide what is best for you .?

Regarding UAE- Whatever ashr and sana said i dont agree at all because we have spend more than 15 years in UAE with very decent job. We were quiet free to do all the activities of bank, driving license and all. That country has its own charm. May be Ashr has worked in very small company where he has to go through those things but things are quiet different there.
