With the Supreme court in his pocket, the US is following Putins lead and becoming a dictatorship. We love America and Americans, but if someone attacks Canadian sovereignty, we will fight back. If the Canadian government invites China to invest in Technology, Agriculture, Automotive, and Oil, Canada will emerge as a different, independent, and prosperous nation. This investment could create thousands of jobs, lower EV and fuel costs, generate significant tax revenue, and strengthen the economy, as Chinese EVs are more affordable than U.S. counterparts. Ultimately, lower energy costs would decrease the cost of living and boost Canadians' spending power, attracting foreign investors to Canada.

As much as I like the message, I just find this is a waste of time to rationalize or reasoning with the orange clown and his uneducated base, like the clown said himself that he loves his uneducated supporters. I think it's important to citizens of the world outside of America to know that not all of us represent this government! I am a veteran and never would turn my back on leadership... Until this clown. Our borders aren't safe. Trudeau opened up our borders to allow all these immigrants into our country and mow have ISIS terrorist here in Canada. Trudeau is the biggest terrorist in this country. So, suddenly Canada is suddenly now arresting these fentanyl gangs in large numbers, spending money on defense and patrolling the borders for illegal immigrants with helicopters and ground troops. Our government knew about these tariffs since the beginning after Trump’s election, and what have they done? Zip, zero, nada because they simply have no clue how to deal with it, but to throw the toys out of the cot. That is hopefully set to change soon and, with a proper government in place, then we can start real negotiations.

We are overgoverned and overtaxed in Canada, don’t need trump to ruin our economy. Government is the king of waste, if we fall for fancy speeches now, we haven’t learned anything….

I’ve never been to Canada I’ve always wanted to go visit. I’m from CT in the USA born and raised here. Why no new industries built in Canada, we essentially only sell cars and oil to the USA at 20% discount. Try buying Canadian, but these are all foreign products, because Canadian bureaucracy and poor productivity, ie, unions and government employees all at home. EXAMPLE, after owning hunting rifles for sixty year, Trudeau minions, contacted my at least six time when I attempted to renew my firearms licence, even phoning my wife for a old man... Go figure, Trudeau only knows how to Hire voters... The problem is Trudeau, you voted for it so now you will pay!!!

How is he defending Canadian jobs? The whole point of tarrifs is to make it unprofitable for American companies to use Canada for things like manufacturing, energy and other natural resources.\n\nThe liberal government is who made us weak where we depended on the trade deficit in our favour. I have been all over Canada, and i will say they are polite, kind, funny, great people. I'm from Montana, and we have always had so much in common. Americans ARE NOT in favor of the way our president, vice president, and the figure cloaked in darkness, ARE BEHAVING. PLEASE KNOW, not all Americans are in favor of our governmental policies, and some of us, quite frankly, are afraid. A lot of the American people are still the same. We want to send aid to Ukraine, we want to have a government that does its job, and we want to be friends with those on our borders. We're still here. We're not all like those on Pennsylvania Avenue.

i live in Canada and i do not agree with what Justin Trudeau is doing. We SHOULD back down from fighting! This is a war we cannot win.❤ Most people in Canada want Justin out of office.
