i am big fan of your videos but as off i live in Canada since 2022, I am partially agree with you about drug, house rent and medical. \n\nOther than that I’m not agree with your views on loan you can get loan easily in canada.\n\nCanadian government is deporting that students or people who has misconduct the documents or have done some minor crimes or some other issues. \n\nYes there are lots of homeless people in canada but they are homeless because of their own mistakes like drugs and etc not because of the high rent i was a international student and i was paying for my rent. \n\nYes there are so many negative views about canada but most importantly you can earn by your self which is not possible in india. You can start from small jobs in canada which will pay you a decent amount on the other hand no one can earn that much in india while doing simple job. \n\nHere I’m not saying that India is not India is the best and i love india but as you say that grass is greener on the other side. But you also show the good points about canada. And it’s not gamble i have seen thousands of Indian students who is helping their family and making their own career in canada. \n \nOne suggestion for the next time you should have conversations with international students who is living here.

I have been in Canada for past 10 years. Life have changed a lot since then. Standard of living has come down. Rent and mortgages increased. Job lay offs. Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. This country does not have enough jobs, no proper education, no standard of living now

All the points mentioned in this video are 100% true. I live in Vancouver, and I'm an international student I really wish I knew the truth about this country before. There is no proper education, too. Everything is self-study and assignments with no campus placements. You won't get good professors in your universities because they are overbooked for the semester, and then you are left with no option but to settle for whoever you get. There's also a lot of exploitation by the desi employers who think they are the king of the world you have to do everything they say so that you don't be jobless all your work experience from India does not count here which means you won't get a decent job and even an intern requires experience of 2-3 years with base pay. The only suggestion I would like to give to the people who are planning to come here is to THINK AGAIN, do your research AGAIN. We cannot undo our years lost, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TIME.

Of course they won't say it. But a lot of the reason we have massive immigration here is because of corporate lobbying. It brings down wages across the board. Plus our monopolies like Bell, Rogers, Lablaws get more customers. The government says it's because of our birthrate but it's not, nobody in our government has foresight like that. The problem is with how immigration is set up. The general population is ok with immigration as long as most people coming in adapt at least somewhat to Canadian culture while integrating their own.\n\nI'd say thats what Trudeau had/has in mind cause thats what Montreal is like. \nBut its like that cause the Quebec government focuses on secularism & French Nationality which creates a sort of blended dynamic that's still uniquely Quebecois.\n\nThat doesnt work so well in other Provinces.\n\nAlternately, the goverment may be trying to turn Canada into a true melting pot, which would create a different Canadian culture and identity than we currently have. \n\nHowever, that only works out when you bring in an equal # of people from different Countries wnd ethnicities.\n\nWhat we have right now is a system that seems to bring a certain percentage of immigrants per Country. Using that math, India and China will always send out more people as they're the most populous and crowded. Hence why Eastern Canada has a lot of Indian immigrants and Western has a lot of Chinese.\n\nThe government will need to get a handle on it and at least even it out if not also slow the flow, lest we risk a rise in xenophobia/isolationism and racism which has already started to make the rounds.

Let’s imagine that you have a medical condition called canadasia. There is a knowledgeable community of physicians that can really help with canadasia disease. But there are lot of crack doctors on YouTube who claim they know everything about canadasia because they have watched lot of videos and articles on canadasia. Would you take your advice from the crack doctor or approach someone with the right qualifications? Today’s young generation is looking for all their solutions on YouTube and that has caused crack doctors to proliferate. What does YouTube do? They are now down ranking the videos of the crack doctors to show content from more reliable sources. But when it comes to arbitrary things like going to Canada how does Google know how to down rank bad videos by people claiming to be expert on these subjects? Please do your own research and choose reliable sources is all I have to say to the youth of today.

I've been living in Canada for the last 10 years ( came here as an international student), and now applying for my permanent residency. Went through high school, post secondary, and now working a full-time job in my field of study. I would say it's long overdue for Canada to scale down on its immigration policies (yes, I've had this thought even when I was a student so anyone who thinks I switched teams can shut up). There are simply not enough houses to accommodate Canadian, let alone immigrants. A lot of them only work minimum wage jobs which neither help the country with shortages in other fields nor their careers in the long term, and overall it gives immigrants a bad rap in the eyes of Canadian citizen. The recent changes in immigration imo is a good first step in the right direction.\n\nEdit: Also I'd like to add that if you're leaving your own home country to join another for a better life, it's your responsibility to adapt and contribute to their society, not the other way around. If you can't do that, stay in your home country.

There has definitely been a lot of change in the ethnic makeup of Brampton over the years. I can't say that it bothered me; I lived there for 31 years with no issues. According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. We cannot continue with this.....every time one of these places destabilizes they end up on the CBC waiving their Canadian passports demanding the Canadian government do something to get them out. \n The Author of the video is correct. Love your videos, however I must say that you seem to be very naive about the reality, severity and frequency of racism in the US, no matter the area. It's not really your place as a white man to say that that person's complaints and fears regarding that are exaggerated (especially considering they had lived there for 6 years lol they didn't pull that sentiment out of thin air). While Canada is by no means free of racism, it is absolutely a deciding factor for a lot of minorities and for good reason unfortunately.

It is not racist to say there is too much Indians and some should get deported back. I know a lot of Indian friends from Brampton, Toronto, Mississauga who were born in Canada and also have the same views as me. It is not sustainable and there is no multiculturalism. Indians who were born here and their parents had to adapt, work hard to get to where they are and helped Canada. Most Indians today get benefits, commit crimes, do not adapt to the culture, and ultimately ruin the economy with mass immigration.

I lived in vegas for a very short time, it was planned to be living there but we went back to Canada. I am dual citizen either way. I will say that i like what that robert bigalow was doing with the budget suites. I stayed there temporarily. It would be so awesome for canada to do this for the housing crisis. It was back in 2005 but it was $500 rent each month and there wasnt huge barriers to be able to rent. \n\nHealth care was scary yes, im not used to that kind of way being indigenous and having my status card. Let me start by saying, I absolutely love TO, I’m from Ireland and visit my relatives every year, recently twice a year. I’ve been going for over 20 years now, unfortunately I’ve seen a decline in cleanliness, not that Ireland is cleaner, it’s not, but Toronto used to be a lot cleaner. In the last few years I have seen a drastic increase of people with mental health issues, sad. I believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity, but the Canadian government has given preference to a country that is clearly undermining it to a point where they are carrying out assassinations on Canadian soil. Say what you want about Indians but they're a lot better than us at standing our ground and actually fighting for our own people

I lived in Ottawa all my life...maybe 2015, they started coming in so fast, I've never really seen so many Indians...now they're all over the place. Not saying it's a bad thing. Just what I've noticed. And lately I have been seeing them in Gatineau but knowing Quebec has new French rule, this may not want them to go live in QC. I think Vancouver has a lot of Chinese and Indians. Just the way it is. They say white people had it too easy and just demanded more from the government whereas Asians will come here for a better life, possibly doing labor work and not complain, so is this is the government is accepting of them? Are they helping with the economy? I am not sure where where all these numbers are coming from.

I understand this is an economics channel, but saying that NO ONE wants to live in Canada because of 3 issues with the economy that most developed countries in the world are dealing w/ is kinda stupid (It's almost like most of the world is in a recession.?) A lot of this data is straight-up wrong or twisted in a way as to be really misleading. The whole video is just full of inconsistencies and is overall extremely critical of Canada to the point of making it sound like a terrible place to live. You could probably find 3 random issues with every single country in the world to make a video about, there's nothing about Canada that makes it as bad as he seems to be trying to make it out to be.

Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

Canada sucks. Lived here my whole life. 34 years near Toronto. Here's a list of other stuff not mentioned.\n1) terrible school system. Basically go private or subject your kids to liberal ideology and creative learning which puts math and literacy scores at a 20 year low.\n2) terrible Healthcare system. You can wait in line for 1 hour at a walk in clinic. 6 hours at emergency. There's hardly any doctors working.\n3) terrible transit. The public transit is outdated. The roads are always busy with 3 year long construction projects. They actively reduce road lanes to add in bicycle lanes, that are only uses half the year because no one rides a bicycle in -10 degree C. But yeah, we'll still plow the bike lane with tax payer $.\n4) increase in crime. More recent development but lets say it started picking up during the lockdowns in 2020. A lot of immigrants that don't give a f about the law. They don't give a f about the police. They get out on bail the next day. They do crime in broad daylight. It's insane. I don't feel safe. Plus, it's hard to own firearms in canada. You can't protect yourself.\n5) no cultural cohesion. The culture sucks. Bland, boring, fake.\n\nHonestly, stay away from Canada. The only thing it had going for it was it polite and safe. But now it's a crime spree out there. Last I heard, 55 car jacking happen everyday.

A lot of this video is directly aimed at Trudeau's leadership, but this is completely forgetting the role of the provincial and municipal governments. They play a major role in building housing and planning cities, and yet basically all of this video is taking potshots at Trudeau. That's not to say Trudeau is free of criticism, but I would've liked a little more nuance there. Especially when people are so polarized at the federal level, the journalistic duty is incredibly important here. Personally, I don't think Trudeau can solve this, but I don't think any single politician can. Especially Pollievre who's got next to no credible plan to tackle the affordability crisis. We have to do better.

Lots of questionable stats in this. Not saying I disagree with the message but where are the sources?

I guess a lot of people come to CA thinking it's easy to study and get a top job. But do they want to work? The housing has been a problem because everyone was told to come...if you don't want to stay, don't say everywhere else is great! That's not true. Why are so many coming here?

Ive seen a lot of ppl migrate to Canada and be very unhappy either because of housing situation ( sorry Canada doesn’t have more homes) or because of the weather. I think its important between new combers to communicate the life style in Canada this way ppl don’t feel some way coming here. I do feel Canada offers alot of help to newcomers. Not saying new comers don’t deserve it specially after paying so much but you are paying for they safe life style the study opportunities the environment and fast way to get pr.
