I am American and so many of us love Canada and Trudeau! Unfortunately people are realizing they made a big mistake voting for Trump! This nation is in so much trouble and for the first time in my life I am afraid of what’s ahead for us.

BTW: didn‘t US-doctors give out for a very long time Fentanol like candy for anyone with any amount of pain? Why was that not regulated sooner, if it is even regulated now? Which US-Family profits from that? And I bet that Trump is a shareholder there too.

We Americans have millions of acres of timber that actually NEEDS regular harvest to reduce the forest fires that plague us yearly. The list goes on, and not a single item cannot be MADE IN AMERICA that we currently get from Canada.

Remind me again why Trudeau was forced to resign? Even NY Times investigative journalists recently explained how NAFTA worked against US interests and killed so much of our industry decades ago; almost the opposite of what was intended. Trade needs to be reformed across the board. It's also insulting the way other world leaders are now speaking directly to the American Public and lying to them as if they have our best interest in mind. World leaders are elected to defend the interests of their own people, many times they just look out for their own personal interest, but they are definitely not looking out for American interest. It is up to us. The world stage is a complicated transaction of this for that. That's life. Have you all forgot playing United Nations in high school? Trade needs to be renegotiated from significantly benefiting every other country but USA. Trump is trying to do that.

I think finally Canada realized that if they have friend like US then they don't need any enemy. You can't trust US at all and need to start open your market for global trade. Born and raised living in Ontario Canada and I applaud Trump Canada has had a 35 to 40% tariff on American goods. Only difference is we call a duty tax? It’s about time America stuck it back to us.
