My work which is at a hotel just got a bunch of Puerto rican immigrants who are working and living at the hotel for free and they get paid and they treat all the other workers with disrespect and leave everything a mess and break rules constantly and can’t even talk to the managers and we’re all trying to be as understanding as we can be because I honestly can’t imagine going through immigration like that but still there’s no rules for them and meanwhile us other workers who are American and don’t get paid as much and don’t have the amenities that they do it’s just kind of a ridiculous situation in my opinion. There’s no structure or organization with it and it doesn’t make sense that we’re illegally transporting immigrants all over the us and giving them the free pass for most all things without even going through the legalization process. Like I can completely understand immigration and see nothing wrong with it when it’s done legally, but I don’t understand why we’re disregarding the people already in the long process of legally immigrating. I might just be very ignorant in the issue but that’s my personal take on the issue. It doesn’t make sense to me. I will say I have absolutely nothing against any person who’s an immigrant but just the rules and regulations surrounding the situation. I don’t mean to step on anyone’s toes or offend anyone.

In the USA....you are on YOUR OWN when it comes to things like social issues and healthcare. Your so-called private insurance plans do not ALWAYS cover what YOU THINK they cover regarding healthcare. You could not pay me enough to ever move to the US from Toronto. My parents had MULTIPLE heart-related medical procedures in Ottawa that would have BANKRUPTED them if they were Americans. You are taken care of IMMEDIATELY if your life is in danger when it comes to healthcare. Americans never mention this. This actually happened to my 41-year old daughter. I moved to Canada from the US a few years ago. I lived in the US for over 30 year and the US government is a JOKE. Congress never got anything done regardless on what party is in office. If you're gay or trans I wouldn't move to the US because it's been very dangerous for that community especially in red states. I always thought Trump was being dumb when he said, “they don’t send their best ppl” until I moved to Mexico and cross Paso del Norte once a month. Every month I take a bus up to Juarez and I ride with these migrants, and let me tell you something… they’re not all women and children. About 60-70% are young LITERAL thugs. I almost got jumped by a group of four of them when I arrived to the Juarez bus station for the first time. Mexicans are tired of these ppl as well, don’t get it twisted. 90% of Mexicans I’ve talked to don’t want them in their towns bc they say that since they’ve arrived muggings, burglary’s, and r@pes have severely gone up. In the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s most of the migrants were just ppl who wanted to work, these ppl that I’ve met time and time again talk like the US owes them and has to let them in. It’s crazy. And my life turned upside down this Friday by illegal immigrants here in Louisiana. They ran a red light, smash my car, totaled it. While running from border patrol and customs. I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know.
