I just don't understand how can you love someone who hides her face behind a mask or niqab or whatever fuck they call it. I saw one a few days ago here in Chicago and believe it or not my 5 year old niece was scared of seeing her in the grocery store. I had to tell her that she is some sort of ninja woman!!

Imagine I said the following and 1.7 billion people followed it:\n Theft is punishable by amputation of the right hand (above).\n• Criticizing or denying any part of the Quran is punishable by death.\n• Criticizing or denying Muhammad is a prophet is punishable by death.\n• Criticizing or denying Allah, the moon god of Islam is punishable by death.\n• A Muslim who becomes a non-Muslim is punishable by death.\n• A non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from Islam is punishable by death.\n• A non-Muslim man who marries a Muslim woman is punishable by death.\n• A man can marry an infant girl and consummate the marriage when she is 9 years old.\n• Girls' clitoris should be cut (per Muhammad's words in Book 41, Kitab Al-Adab, Hadith 5251).\n• A woman can have 1 husband, but a man can have up to 4 wives; Muhammad can have more.\n• A man can unilaterally divorce his wife but a woman needs her husband's consent to divorce.\n• A man can beat his wife for insubordination.\n• Testimonies of four male witnesses are required to prove rape against a woman.\n• A woman who has been raped cannot testify in court against her rapist(s).\n• A woman's testimony in court, allowed only in property cases, carries half the weight of a man's.\n• A female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits.\n• A woman cannot drive a car, as it leads to fitnah (upheaval).\n• A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.\n• Meat to be eaten must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah - i.e., be Halal.\n• Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam.\n\nThat's what Muslims believe in.

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

I just wonder why? Why Muslims? I mean every religion has the extremists! I know Muslims has the fair share and maybe more! But so what I am scared... Scared to wear a hijab in public because a person in my class. Someone I thought was a friend asked me what religion I was. I answered Muslim. He critiqued me he swore and called me a terrorist. In front of my best friends face. She didn't do anything... People seem to believe what ever is put on the media. Yeah we have terrorists but who doesn't! So what we have our religion you have one too. So what I just wonder. Why dose it have to be Muslims?

Tell me it is reasonable, and you want to obey it. But hey, if you want to be slave, it is not my business, but please keep it in your home.

No idea should be held as sacred. We need to let people know religion is stupid. I had a good long talk with a Muslim girl about science, and how she is wrong and so is her dad, that the Quran has no science in it, and that it was a Catholic who made up the idea that it does.\n\nEducation is the key. I know one girl who was Muslim, and after taking some philosophy classes she left her religion, and her abusive husband with it. She is finally enjoying life, enjoying wine, sex, and life in general.

no its not. Muslims are a total threat to freedom. If muslims ruled then we'd be back in the stone age because they are now anti science. You wouldnt be talking here because there would be no internet. welll you got it right their hypocrites, its with any religion christanity, judasiam you have the same thing there, look at christianity theres a load who thanks god that soldiers have died in war, she thanks god for all sorts disasters under christanity. such 9/11 Now does that make me think all christians believe the same?. Another one is how a lady was speaking about christanity and said sex before marriage is bad yet she was caught sleeping with her brother in law? lol there hypocrities.
