Add to that, when one leaves the rental; one can have fees added in if the location is not left as perfect.

when the British patience is finally lost the response to things like this will be swift. a pivotal scandal will trigger a huge shift in public opinion before too long then look out. Yes Canadian history books say there was no Slavery. There was some but it was very small percentage. I find that with each generation, the issue with racism becomes slightly less and less, which is great considering slavery was abolished only for about 100 years. I find that living in Canada as a black millenial is much better then say living in the 70s. I never faced racism the entire time i grew up here. but then again I haven't been everywhere in Canada. I think the most you'll experience here right now is indirect racism in the small towns. but you just have to show them who you really are and most will be OK. I don't think a lot of the people still have the mindset left in the 1900s. especially not in the major cities where its so diverse. but there's racism everywhere no matter what you look like. I hope everyone can look past appearance and stereotypes some day.

Lol at calling it a concern, no true canadian would have any respect for muslim values and its culture. hajib, niqab, burka... these are words i didn't necessarily ever wish to learn. Now, it seems, people who were welcomed into our country, who left theirs, are demanding recognition of what they have left behind. This mask is an effort to disguise what they really are. We are a more open society, publicly. We are generally capable of maintaining our privacy internally. Instead of assimilation, they choose a clash of cultures. I suspect this will not work out well in the end. rc

Police patrols vs Muslim patrols, mmmm; my money's on the muslim patrols, partly because there are only a couple of coppers left, and partly because they would never have the balls to arrest a Muslim in this country. I think Harry Hill should get them in for a fiiiiiiiiiiiight!\n\nHow long will it be before all the coppers in London are Muslims? That'll be a proper Muslim patrol then, and they still won't arrest Muslims.
