This is totally on Trump. Canada did not choose this. I’m proud of the way Prime Minister Trudeau is handling this.\n\nTrump is not such a smart man. Smart men don’t attack friends and allies.

I actually want to disagree with Trudeau on something here.... Donald is not a smart man.

I never voted for Trudeau, but it is hard not to admire him after this speech. He makes Trump look just like he is.. an old, ugly, out-of-shape, and very, very stupid fool. The last thing Canada needs right now are bootlicking Conservatives like Pierre Poilievre. And on a final note.. Trudeau was wrong, Donald is NOT a smart man. He is an utter imbecile.

The only thing I think I'd disagree with here is Trudeau calling Trump a smart man. I know he's trying to appeal to his vanity, but it still feels icky.

I just feel the need to apologize to Canadians. What Trudeau said was correct - we've always enjoyed amicable relations between our two countries. Some of my best friends are Canadians. The Orange Man does not speak for us. 77 million people voted for him - roughly 1/5th of our country. Do not assume the Orange idiot speaks for all of us. Some of us just want to live peaceful lives of consequence.
