As an American i am deeply embarrassed and saddened by these last few weeks. This is not going to end well.

I am an American and I fully stand with Canada, Mexico, and Ukraine....I do NOT support in any way whatsoever...Russia, The Orange Blob, The Couch Humper and that cowardly little weasel Mike Johnson!...and I definitely don't support Musk Rat!

As an American, I am proud of you Canada!! You are showing class, integrity, and good morals. What is happening in our country is absolutely unacceptable and makes me sad. I also stand with Mexico and Ukraine.

California here... but my Mom was Canadian and never gave up her citizenship.. wearing my Canada sweatshirt today in solidarity. I hope Canada knows how many Americans are with them and how much we hate what's going on in our country. For the first time in in my life I am deeply ashamed to be an American.

As an American, I am so angry and disgusted with how our government here has put millions of American’s livelihood at mind blowing risk and their disrespect to many countries where we have built relationships with for decades and affect the livelihoods of the people of those countries; all to manipulate the markets for billionaires and corrupt criminals. That is what we get when we elect criminals against all warnings given over the last decade.

As an American I am so sorry for the pathetic acts of that man who isn't my president. He has the job and he's fucking it up properly. I am sorry. We are sorry. We will make up for this in the future and history will hold the asshole responsible. Again I'm sorry. We don't want this. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau thank you for your address to Americans, to the american Bully in chief, and to your people. I am among those who started pushing back before trump took office, many are. We’re watching legislation and countering it. It won’t be easy, but we, the other half who understand that trump is crooked and dysfunctional, will not give up. Generally, Americans are not great when it comes to hitting the pavement and letting our voices be heard, but we’re getting much better. We need to be more like France, but without the destructive automobile fires and other property destruction. Life will be hell here, in my own democratic country, until the Bully is gone. I want the entire republican party gone, they only serve themselves via stock insider information, and messed up wishes to control a dystopian society while kowtowing to the billionaires. I want the democrats rebranded to acknowledge the important social programs we have. Let’s face it, they did not protect us from this trump/project 2025 takeover. Instead they allowed unchecked lies, and the ability to buy his way into office with so many felonies under his huge belt. In a country that is intellectually compromised, lies are very effective weapons against democracy. We need better hate laws to control this lying issue.

The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.

Alberta, Canada: I just returned from shopping and I am happy to say that I managed to spend CAD $450 on groceries without spending a single cent on American products! I buy a lot of organic items and many of them come from California. But putting in the time today at the store and reading labels, I realized that there is a Canadian/Mexican/European equivalent for everything I need ; )

Dear Canada, I am an American citizen, and I do not agree with what Trump is doing. I do not agree that Trump is President.

What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Sometimes Trump does say things that may have gone off track like fentyl handling on Canada's end and border handling. It seems like our borders at the time were less strict on the American side versus the Canadian side of the border. Trump did state multiple times that most countries like Canada were unfair to USA. Even with the USMCA, America got screwed by Mexico as will. America has been there helping and supporting and submitting to every country. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. I am neutral as both parties don't always provide the best solution for everyone. You have to pick who can help the American people. Seeing how corrupt the Democrats has ran America and the defacto behind of all the wars and money laundering has surprised me, and I hope the change with Trump will help everyone realize how screwed we all are in correcting those corruption that isn't really needed.

Thank you for a great strong response to the Felon of the US (FOTUS ). I am American and ashamed of this irresponsible irrational man. We love Canada, have relatives there and we are planning a summer trip to our good neighbor and trust me we will buy Canadian when we are there.

As a child, I remember my sister-in-law, who lived under the regime of Hitler, explain to me the horrors that occurred in their country by this tyrant. Now, the USA has a maniac who is taking us Americans through the same things that Hitler took my sister-in-law and her family through. Being an older African American woman, I am not afraid of this President, or what he can do, I grew up with strong black women, and he can't bring me down!!
