I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. In the United States, people from degrading. Or degraded countries are not giving those opportunities. So I would imagine over the years. Any type of hope that they had for a great country is depleted. Solidarity in countries like that is not accepted it would be suppressed. It would be stormed on and smashed out by the you. See an opportunity to better your life and your children's life. And it's the fourth quarter and there's 2 seconds on the time clock. And you've only got one play to make. We all go for what the big hell, Mary and I think that's what these people are doing and God bless every one of them. That are good people. I feel sorry for this situation. I wish the world was a better place, but unfortunately it's not all we can do is pray for these individuals that hope that they find solace in what they're looking for. And we have to prefer ourselves also and pray that God takes care of our country.And theirs god bless everyone in this world

They had me set up to do chemotherapy treatment within 2 weeks. They wanted me to start that weekend, but I needed the time to put my work in order for me to be gone for an extended period, get applications set up for EI/Healthcare claims, and figure out who in my family I wanted to share the information with. \n\nIn Canada you end up waiting for elective surgeries and treatments, because they aren't critical by virtue of being elective. That's about it. If you need an elective and have 10K in your pocket not doing anything, go ahead and go to the states.

All the energy that is going to deporting people. Hopefully someone will do the cost-benefit. Seems like a major waste of time. Every single country has the right to accept or deny anyone wanting to enter their country based on their own criteria. Travelling to a country is luxury and living & working there are privileges! I’ve had the privilege to work and live for 2 years in India and I’ve respected every single procedure I had to go trough, I had all my papers, I respected the country and culture, did my job as good as I could, stayed out of trouble and went back home when it was time to do that. Just like India has the right to set its immigration rules as strict as they want in order to protect their sovereignty so does any other country on the face of the planet earth! If you want to be accepted anywhere on planet earth (this is an advice for everyone and anyone from any country) you must EARN IT not demand it!

As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. I’m an Indian passport holder living abroad due to personal reasons. I’m eligible for the citizenship of a country that most people would dream to get but I do not like to apply for the same because then I would have to renounce my Indian citizenship (India does not allow dual citizenship). Indians themselves are responsible for visa rejections because most of our people (not all) go under the disguise of tourists with the intention to settle in that country. What kind of treatment would you expect then? I came legally and despite never compromising with my cultural values, I have always felt welcomed in the country that I live in. It’s about how you present yourself in the country that you live in. People are good everywhere in this world.

Please do not be too discouraged with the world, a lot of changes were caused by election of leaders disconnected with needs of its citizens. You have the personality to be capable of living anywhere, and seeing other cultures-it seems your business skills and determination will lead you to success wherever you choose to live. I am a citizen of the USA and there are many things of my Country that upset me and make for at times disgust and a sense of unhappiness! However, your home (Canada) may with changes in your Parliment and Prime Minister, and /or Province leaders be the home that warms your heart and soul. Have you considered being a political leader in your home (Canada) as you seem to possess a sense of wisdom and how to implement positive change(s). India should treat countries the same as they treat her. Do not go to Countries that do not want you. Have some respect for yourself.

The problem is that when they ask for a tourit visa, they stay and want to work. Europeans and Americans as well as people ftom the rich Ara nations go to Infia as a tourist and then go back to their country. Thailand and Vietnam allow more Indians be ause Indians do not want to work there. We are right. We must not give visas unless we need the person. India should fo the same.

The main reason is, that Indians do not want to go back to their country, and we Indians are so smart that we play the Western law against western countries to remain in foreign land. We are losing their trust. It's not about the passport index but it is about trust. Western countries mostly run on trust. If you get a chance to travel there, you'll understand what I am talking about, example, they trust people will not break the law at signals so they don't have police at signals, the airport has no security at the entrance gate, etc.

Well, there are good Indians and scammers Indian. Scammers in India are causing headaches for good Indians. That is the facts. For instance, recently some Indians took a huge loan in UAE and left for Canada with that money. That has put the UAE government in a position to make the visa process more difficult to find out if bad people are getting the visa or not. I would say, the Indian government should introduce a process to thoroughly investigate a person before they apply for a foreign visa, and it should be honest to see some improvement in Indian behavior in the foreign countries. If not, that number is just going to go down. It doesn’t matter how much you scream. Do that for the sake of good Indian people.

I can go on and and on. \n\nVisa rejection is not a bad thing!!! Everyone must protest his or her own. \n \n\nIf it is possible, everyone should stay in their own country. No movement. Do business with your own people. No international business!!! \n\nOur ancestors survived without others, therefore we can survive too. \n\nI know many people will not like this comment but it is an opinion. \n\nI still like India but will not live there. Good luck to them. \n\n\nIn my view their ascent contributes to numerous visa denials. Let's say 10% . Then 30% is forgery. It has been alleged that some of them do too many documents forgery to get to Canada or whereever they wish to travel.\n Then \n10% is women maltreatment. (stories of rape etc). \n\n Finally, india is very big, they need to use their population as a tool for development. They have all it takes to be like China. 100%\n\nWake up Indian government. Look after your citizens or divide the damn country. It is too big. ?

Indians are also responsible . Bad visa form filling. \nTraveling abroad to work on tourist visa. Escaping into illegal permanent stay into Europe . But yes, Indian passport should be the top 20 but it isn’t because our house isn’t in place. Basically we’re mostly good people but uncivilised , undisciplined , not all but many. Get India orderly first, clean, green, pollution free, corruption free… and if they still do the same it’s because we want to go there more then they wish to come here. Do something that makes them come here. Top quality cheap tourism, food quality, pollution free, reduce population, increase the female population , give equal rights to woman, judicial system in India sucks, court cases should be fast tracked, law should be simple direst and effective. So much for us to do, money is not the only thing that makes us get quality living. Only the rich get all this stuff…

I've been to several embassies Western and other European Non Western embassies in India over the past 25 years and most of them don't allow Indian visa applicants inside the Embassy/Consulate. Some allow Indian visa applicants only at the entrance or only inside the gate not beyond. Others allow Indian visa applicants only at the gate and you hand your application and passport to the security. It depends on what kind of visa of course. If it's for tourism or a short term visa then you're not allowed inside. If it's long term then some embassies interview you so those embassies allow. But the embassies of those very countries in countries other than India are much more open and you can actually go inside the embassy and speak to consular officers etc. In India in most Western embassies and even some Non Western embassies you cannot do that unless you're applying for long term visa or immigration etc.

Stop acting like you don’t know Ms Sharma, visas for Indians are rejected mainly because when you apply for a tourist visa, most of the time you are not really visiting that country. You have plans to settle there. Many people do go to these countries as tourists but they know very well who seems like a tourist and who doesn’t.

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

Unfortunately, there has to be some criteria by which each country has to make a judgement. I do not understand why she is cribbing here. There is this guy who keeps going on international trips and everyone in India for gaga over the importance he brings to India through those trips. What happened? Not working? They fail to understand that all the hugs and kisses are only for the TV and in reality every country just cares for the business opportunity they get out of the other. \n\nPalki keeps talking about using our economic power. Who should be weilding it? Is it not the Government? Do they really care if an individual or a lot of their citizen's visa get rejected? They are busy painting a rosy picture to their blind followers. They abuse and mock organizations that put down the ranking of our country instead of understanding the reason behind those ranking. They have no data to contradict the agencies but use rhetoric and everyone seems to be happy about it.\n\nWhy has this lady not put in any thought on the other possible reasons for rejections that could be because of the applicants? The easiest thing to do is blame other countries for the rejection without thinking why certain types of countries reject and what has our citizens done in those countries? No point in thinking about a few people who helped build Dubai or those one of cases like Pichai & Nadella. Think of those who go their and cause concern to those countries.

Congress had reciprocal arrangement. To boost tourism post negative PR following Nirbhaya incident BJP let go of it with evisas. Both sides have valid argument but real elephant in the room is behavior and respect of laws and etiquette by our desis. Imagine out of 55000 non compliant student visas in Canada that did not show up to school..20k were Indians. So unless Indians improve there, neither government Modi nor Congress equally can't do much.

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

Palki is not able to see the simple reason why Indians face higher visa restrictions...India has the highest number of visa violators. Indians need to stop acting like victims of sovereign countries' visa regimes. You don't like what they do, don't go there.

Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...

This is horrific. What happened to the Muslim ummah?? Allah will not spare you. Fear for the akhiriyat. It's your duty to shelter the Muslims of Gaza, syria and libiya in your homes. Where is turkey, qatar, Pakistan, Iran, and UAE?? Why are you not allowing refugees? Y are you not conducting evacuation operations?? Allah will not accept this. Before another Palestinian dies, please wake up. It's your duty to bring these people to your homes first. Allah will not be pleased if you go to mosque 5 times a day and not shelter your dying muslim brothers.
