I'm Canadian. Canada isn't the same anymore. Everyone is basically broke right now, no onr can find work, and if you can, you still won't be making enough to keep up with inflation. Mortages and rent have doubled, food prices are robbing us, and we are taxed significantly only for our tax dollars to be wasted. \n\nAnother issue is Crime. \nCrime has gone up, Especially in the past few years. Not only car thefts and scams, but violent crime too. Every week, an international student, or immigrant is charged with the murder of someone in my city. \n\nMy biggest issue is that they can't find drive very well either.\n\nI'm not racist. Its important to have an open mind and be accepting towards other cultures. However, our country has fallen. I mostly blame Trudeau, his government is very incompetent. He has ruined our country

I don’t even necessarily blame the government. I blame the for profit immigration centers in foreign countries that sell canada as this utopia rich land. While some comments suggest that so-called immigration consultants from other countries are responsible for sending students, isn't it ultimately the responsibility of the Canadian government to reject the visas? If I were to send 1 million students tomorrow, would you blame me, or the government that approved visas for these 1 million students?

It’s not the immigrants to blame, but the reckless leftist government buying potential votes by selling the wrong picture of what immigrant life will look like and by providing welfare on demand. Many immigrants do not work, but recieve soicial assistance especially once they get children, and eventually they settle into mediocre life and no longer look for work. Our government is dishonest and deprives newcomers of their agency.

It is far too easy to get a work visa and subsequent PR status. The government is to blame for that. We need to be selective when it comes to granting working visa and permanent resident status.

Immigration is driven by corporations who want cheap and compliant labour, post secondary institutions who want to fleece international students and landlords/construction companies who want people to pay ripoff prices for rentals and homes. The government simply caters to those groups. Canadians have no one to blame but their own greedy establishment and their corrupt governments.

The government is to blame. And ordinary people always get the brunt of public anger . It's much easier to attack anyone new or vulnerable than to organise in a way that forces government to address the real economic and social structural issues that underpin the growing inequalities in Canada.

We can't blame immigrants. We have to blame the government who issues Visas. Without Visas they cant entire Canada. The woman at 7:34 is spot on. Instead of asking the government to make housing more accessible and affordable, people tend to blame immigrants who have nothing to do with housing prices. The government chose to support megacorporations in the private sector to lug their weight around and buy up housing like gluttonous beasts. CANADIAN Megacorps like all megacorps will always act in their best interest which is profit. Therefore canadians airing out racism against random immigrants who have nothing to do with housing is missing the point entirely.

I'm sorry to say but a immigrant cannot steal your job. A immigrant cannot take your apartment. You and your shortcomings cannot be blamed on everybody else. Every business aims the Indian market. Same goes for the Canadian diplomas. At the first place it was the white people representing the so called Canadian Colleges who manipulated the Indian students to come to their place and have a future. They shouldn’t have done this. If the people who had been following the western life in India came here, things wouldn’t have been like this. They would’ve adopted the Canadian culture and moved on. But your government and agencies were greedy, wanted money, looted all the innocent people who hadn’t had any idea what living in North America would be and had them come here. So, who should we blame? Think.

The government needs someone to blame for the lack of money to spend on its actual people. I have some comments about some of the things in the video. Including Olivia Chow in the video when talking about housing affordability with local government policies I don't think is right to inlcude her as she only got elected last year and has to deal with all the decisions and issues from the past Toronto mayor. It's similar to blaming Biden for the economic issues of the US when a lot of the reasons for the downturn economy in the US during his first term was the impact of the economic policies that Trump put in place, it takes time. In terms of the carbon tax, I think its a valid criticism with the compounding issues canadians are facing, but also take into consideration that the provincial governments also have some play with this, as they have the ability to go for the standard carbon tax or implement a cap and trade. A lot of conservative governments like to complain about the federal government about this, but they are also to blame for some of the lack of affordability for political points. As well for the banking fees, we do have a smaller selection of banks, but there are some options that Canadians can have that do not include fees (Simplii, Tangerine). Everything else in the video I agree on, I also think personally that all political parties need a shake up in leadership.

It will make you wonder how this guy got voted in. Once the liberals realize their policies are failing, they change policies and blame opposition for their failures.\n\nIt’s interesting that the ideology of Liberals in Canada is supposed to be the middle ground for most people who agree with the left and the right political policies. No mention at all of the massive increase in tax base required to fund healthcare for aging boomers that is actually underpinning Canada’s immigration policy, cool. Failure to build housing because of NIMBY municipalities and an unwillingness by the federal government to align immigration targets with capacity are much more to blame than the nonsense conspiracy you’re spouting. You can't blame international students at all, it's the government who gives them visa, work permit, pr, citizenship while so many immigrants refugees enter without doing anything and you blame only students.

I'm Canadian and the country has turned to shit in the last 3 years. I don't blame the immigrants I blame our government for letting something like this happen. I'm 32, make decent money and was able to buy a house 3 years ago; and now I can barely afford to buy food. life use to be so easy here and now every week is a paycheque to paycheque bassist. very sad. I emigrated to Canada in 1972. There is absolutely NOTHING that is the same NOW to what is was then. It was hard but everything was much happier, easy going and there were no heavy stress things like there is today: housing, unemployment, HEALTHCARE and bad economy. Many blame the mass migration but also there have been bad government policies. I really miss those old days, thank God I am retired now and see it from the distance but I fear for my son's future.

People in Canada are the problem, not the government. Canada people are very lazy and passive aggressive. They suck at their jobs and always charge more because they are lazy. If you are not happy with the poor services they gave you, they will blame you for being rude and refuse to provide the service which you have paid for. So you either accept their poor service or not receive any service at all. It's not the problem of the government, it's the culture of this country.

Don’t blame everything on Consultants or agents. They are there to sell dreams only. Canadian government is no less. Look at the standard of education they are providing in the school system and colleges. For government, this is just a business, they only want your money. If you have certain amount good education from back home with experience then this country is good to live.
