Who cares, you can come to Canada or leave Canada , do what u want, yeah houses are crazy expensive and yeah are prime minister sucks, but I wouldn’t wanna live anywhere else , Ive lived in Victoria BC , Edmonton Alberta, and St. John’s Newfoundland, allways felt safe, being able to do what I want regardless of race , gender , religion, makes Canada one of best counties in the world , we’re not perfect, but I’d say other counties could learn a thing, we’re known for being nice, we’re not known for being cheap, if u want cheap, go to Thailand

If Canada continues mirroring destructive policies of the U.S. it’s not going to end well for Canada long term. \nCanada is in worst economic shape when it comes to jobs, housing and healthcare. \nThe life is just simply not affordable and the lack of healthcare professionals, hospitals and housing is unacceptable, so is public schools and childcare. \nI’m not surprised that reverse immigration will be happening for immigrants who has been here long enough see the dramatic change and unfair immigration policies.

Canada needs better street food

If I have a better option, I will leave today, why? It is not because of housing or inflation. It is more to do with the erode of western values, for which productive and resourceful immigrants used to come to Canada in the first place. Housing crisis or inflation or hike in crime are the result of eroding of the western values. If Canada continue in this path, within our lifetime, it will turn into a third world country (coming from someone who is from a third world country and knows the drill) with a third world culture and will be in a point of no return. Who wants to migrate to a third world culture?

WRONG...a record number of Canadians are leaving Canada due to the neglect of hardworking, taxpaying Canadians in favor of bringing newcomers who will potentially vote for the existing government. These kinds of reports are just false justification for the open borders.

Because we get nothing done here. My mom came to this country in the 70s and she loved how much progress they made every decade. But now we do nothing. We need to get Canada working. Build major projects and be competitive. We cant do that with Trudeau. And to be fair. Im not a liberal or conservative fan boy. It just matters who leads whichever party. The biggest problem is that you can have dual citizenship. And there is absolutely no loyalty to Canada besides the ‘free healthcare’ and cheep education. You have people living in other countries for the vast majority of their lives and then touch base at home to suit their medical need, then take off and not contribute ANYTHING to the county. Then, they whip out their Canadian passport to be repatriated when things go bad in their Middle East country….

That´s 100% accurate. I myself am being slowly priced out of Canada. I have left, temporarily, due to very low living costs AND availability of health care in my homeland. I still want to go back to Canada, but high rent prices and a over 2 year waiting line for my medical treatment is preventing that... Even though I have to pay WAAAY more for my treatment in South America. Really tough.

You are an average student soo instead of hustling in India by doing fresher jobs, you go to Canada for expensive education from dubious colleges in hopes of getting a job ?\nI say that if you are talented you can make big in foreign countries but if you know you are an average Joe then you are just wasting money and time in Canada. The BIPOC community gets far TOO much support in Canada, from free hand outs- although they are well off as these wealthy BIPOC immigrants and citizens know how to play the system, to the best jobs and admission spots in medical school, law school, engineering, etc. There are very few Italian and S.European doctors and lawyers-most especially females in Canada, in addition to the fact that less than a staggering 1% of immigrants to Canada are Italian or S.European. I take into account all the bigger picture problems affecting Toronto, and then also my own personal problems that never seem to resolve, mainly the job market and dating scene here. And I don't even live in the municipality I live in York Region which is even more bs at times. Looking at other options within Canada but even then the options within this country are still pretty limited.

The wait times are too long in Canada. It can be several hours to the next day. My dad went to emergency when his stomach was hurting and he couldn't even get seen and he chose to go home and just rest. I had an at the time undiagnosed eye disease and had eye pain with my left eye closed up and wasn't able to get seen by anyone for quite awhile either. As I knew that over time my eye would eventually open up, I checked out of the E.R. and went home. That was during New Year's as well. It wasn't a great way to welcome 2016.

I respect ur decision. Truth is not everyone can adjust, struggle, survive n sustain outside India. Canada is one of the top UN rated countries.
