Why come to Canada if you are a professional? So you can be taxed at over 50%, have access to short staffed and dirty mismanaged hospitals, send your kids to woke schools who can’t even teach the basics anymore, all while living in houses you can only rent because nobody makes enough income anymore to purchase one??!!

I mean we have people here that can't even speak English or French and are accepted by immigration. Some people openly says that they hate Canada and are only here to send money to their family in their own country. ? Government is not encouraging their own people to have children which is what keeps a country healthy. They rather immigration people than making their own people happy to have them live happy by having affordable housing and have a family. Quite impossible right now, my wife and I are starting to have huge problems financially and we both make 75 000+ a year with one child. We can't have another till we can afford to have another housing is unaffordable and we can't ruin our selves to reach our goal of having 3+ children. We are getting older and that window is closing fast ?

It’s not just Toronto and Vancouver it’s in every city and town in Canada we are all 1 paycheck missing will end us up homeless. Doesn’t matter the age or make or female. These numbers are way low

I love Canada. But i left it for tanzania, Africa. I left with 250k CAD and thats all i had. Now i own 3 luxury houses, 8 rental units, 100 acres of farmland with 2 semi-trucks, and I'm making quite alot of money from these investments. Im also planin to buy a beach property in Zanzibar, which is off the coast of tanzania. Are there different degrees of fairness in Canada and in the province of British Columbia?-Well, isn’t fairness or being fair referred to Justice, and if so, does this mean that the Canadian legal system does not respect individual rights of all people equally?-And, if Canadian legal system does not respect individual rights of all people equally, isn’t this a violation of section 15 (1) of Constitution Act, 1982 that guarantees, “ Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability”? \n Also, according to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (S.C. 2001, c. 27) \n3 (1) The objectives of this Act with respect to immigration are \n(e) to promote the successful integration of permanent residents into Canada, while recognizing that integration involves mutual obligations for new immigrants and Canadian society; \n(j) to work in cooperation with the provinces to secure better recognition of the foreign credentials of permanent residents and their more rapid integration into society. \n Consequently, if it is stated on the Website of the Government of British Columbia, “The B.C. government is making credential recognition for internationally trained professionals more transparent, efficient and fair.”, does this mean that the Government of British Columbia has been treating immigrants for more than 20 years in contradiction to s. 3 (1) (e)and (j) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and, if so, why? \n Also, if, the Government of British Columbia has been treating immigrants in contradiction to 3 (1) (e)and (j) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and in contradiction to section 15 (1) of Constitution Act, 1982, what about access of immigrants to the Court of Justice under section 24 (1) of Constitution Act, 1982 that guaranties, “Anyone whose rights or freedoms, as guaranteed by this Charter, have been infringed or denied may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction to obtain such remedy as the court considers appropriate and just in the circumstances.”? The question is whether there is access to justice for immigrants or for all people in Canada and in the province of British Columbia under section 24 (1) of Constitution Act, 1982 or not?

A country is a home you fight for & to make a contribution. To make it better for the next generation. Immigration has made Canada great because new comers worked to make Canada great. Asians, Irish, Brits, Italians and the list goes on. They made Canada attractive to so many. If new comers aren't prepared to make Canada a home then by all means leave.

Reality is: unless you have to stay with no other option, it makes sense to leave. Canada isn't anymore what it used to be.

The healthy care system is the most inefficient system, make everyone frustration . And full street cannabis shops , put our kids in dangerous! So many of my friends think leave Canada to US or Australia .

So we don't have the financial resources to support them, we have no housing for them and likely won't for the next 100 years based on our current building rate and we don't have jobs that pay enough to afford the exorbitant rents. So it's better for everyone if they go somewhere else where they can live peacefully. We have made Canada an immigration unfriendly country and conservative governments continue to make sure that that stance is maintained by not building affordable housing or investing in supports for citizens and only giving money to close political corporate allies. Most Canadians don't want immigrants here at all if they don't have jobs and can't afford to live without burdening the social system.

This has been building for at least two decades and I'm surprised that only now people are talking about this. There are few reasons anymore for quality immigrants to come to Canada. The only people coming here and staying are people coming from God-forsaken places that make Canada look like paradise, or wealthy investor immigrants who buy property here and maybe only live here for six months of the year.

On Tunde's success story, I can see that the resilience, passion and dedication that he put in really amaze me. No wonder he was able to achieve his dream. This is poor journalism. Yes there is a spike of 31% increase of Immigrants choosing to leave canada; That may sound significant until you break the numbers down. Between 1982 to 2017, an average of 0.9% of immigrant chose to leave Canada. That is for every 1000 immigrants, 90 will change their mind and leave Canada. In 2019, that figure jump to 1.18% from 0.9%. That is in 2019, 118, instead of 90, will chose to leave Canada for every 1000 immigrants. Again, 0.9% to 1.18% represents 31% increase, but lets put things in context and not make mountains out of mold hills.

2nd larger country on earth, population 39 millions and housing prices raising making imposible to buy a house in one life time. \nI live in Canada since 2005. \nMy work experience and knowledge is not valuable in Canada, my University diploma either, so what employers and government want ? . \nI choose to live Canada only to get international experience but now l'm tired of all this stu%&$ rules. \nI'm planning go back to my hometown were I used to live better than in Canada. ???☀️? thanks for the Canadian passport by the way ✌?

It is impossible to live comfortable anymore in Canada with all these prices rises. And Canada is still doing it to make it even higher.

Our birth-rate is low, so we do need immigrants, that being said, housing needs to keep up and so do appreciation of foreign experience. \nSome of the Ukrainian refugees that we welcomed in NL were doctors and nurses and they really wanted to start working, but were not allowed because they were not trained in Canada. This isn't even a foreigner issue, if a doctor/nurse wanted to move to a different province there are still obstacles, which doesn't make sense to me! Sure healthcare workers from other countries should be brought up to speed on the system, but at the end of the day, they still acquired the education and work experience to do their job and can provide proof of their credentials, it should not take years to work in Canada.

Ok guys. We need to make Canada a better place. Not for our benefit but for the immigrants.

Trudeau is making Canada a bad place to live, period!

Canada's system need improvement. That's an understatement if I ever heard one. When the necessities of life are made difficult to acquire and the government doesn't do it's job to fix it, you don't have much of a choice but to leave. It's basic survival. One of the basic necessities of a functioning government are to make sure its population is fed, yet I don't see anything being done about it. Lots of talk. Absolutely nothing done.

Canada is a vast country, but all immigrants want to live in the big cities, where housing is the most expensive and the climate is most termperate. I think the rising cost of city housing is in part due to immigration. We have many, many, many smaller towns and cities that need the medical, technical and manufacturing experience of immigrants, but no one wants to go there. I think the government needs to make these places more attractive to immigrants to help build these communities.

Canada is not a livable country for younger families or new immigrants, it wasn't like that 10 to 20 years ago, basically just the last 5 or so years, that make Trudeau the responsible pm, just another thing he's screwed up.

Instead of taking care of born and raised Canadians they want to take care of new comers. If they just dropped the crazy high tax rate all across the board and made it easy to start business here maybe Canadians would start having children if they seen a future. But no lets just make immigrant's work for nothing and hope they don't leave. We don't get paid enough in Canada that is why educated and talented born and raised Canadians leave this waste land. We could go across the boarder and make double and be able to afford a home in our prime working years. Why would I buy a home and pay it off in 30-40 years when I could pay it off in 10 years and have my wages go into living life and investments. Canada is done They stole the future of millennials and Gen-Z here don't fight just leave. It will be 30 years to recover from this time we don't have and our kids don't either.

High numbers of Canadians are also fleeing immigrant centres in Canada for more affordable housing, lower congestion, crime and declining quality of life. It seems our developer / speculator focused immigration policy can't make anyone happy except developers and speculators. And bought politicians and journalists.

And they will continue. It's bad. MAKE CANADA GREAT AGAIN

it makes sense. Canada is awesome if your income is below 70k a year. Once you start making better salaries the taxes scare smart foreign professionals. Those professionals can make the same salary as in Canada paying no taxes in other parts of the world

I don't know why it's always about immigration numbers. But not about how to actually ensure there's a possibility for these immigrants to be successful. You sacrifice a lot to come to Canada. And many don't have the option to leave because they have used up their savings to try and make it in Canada.

Make Canada liveable again.

I had exactly the same experiences in 2002 when I went(and came back) on PR to Canada. Getting into a proper paying job in your own profession is the most herculean task in itself. The necessity of a car due to extreme harsh weather most of the months and then initially affording only a basement with mostly indoor activities during non-summer months takes a huge toll on one’s mental well being. Most of the jobs are regulated in Canada so getting an equivalent clearance and compatibility for a job is no easy task at all otherwise you’ll end up doing only sundry manual help jobs around which too aren’t available easily. I found a lot of positivities and possibilities too in Canadian life but then be prepared to sacrifice a lot for many years and then maybe you realise you have a lot more to loose than gain! So as this blogger said Go to Canada first on say a tourist visa to friends or family, stay and spend some time and money too and then make a long term decision to come and stay forever or not. But in the meantime don’t quit your job or business back in India till you come to a final outcome?

Multicultural = Failed. Here is why (in my opinion) there is no reason to move in any big cities in Canada, and in Canada in general. \n1. Insanely expensive housing with next to none disposable income left in the pocket. \n2. Inability to get into the real estate market unless $$$ was brought in as an investment. This will leave locals and people who were born in Canada left out for good even further. \n3. Extremely competitive job market. Newcomers will have to suffer for a long time to break-in. \n4. Depression and drug addiction is everywhere. It's more deadly than covid but the government can't address the problem because they lose control for good. \n5. Canada is far away from many other places, which makes things worse as you feel trapped in a workcamp with no place to escape. \n6. The cost of living is getting much faster with the salaries significantly behind year after year. \n7. Canada became the country of failed government, failed multiculturalism, too tolerant as a result. \n8. Retirement in Canada will be impossible for 95% unless you agree to live in the middle of the nowhere until depression kills you. \n9. Many who came to Canada 25+ years ago and still around felt trapped. Canada's source of immigration will likely be the poorest communities who will agree to put up with everything listed above just to get out of where they live right now. \n10. Sad, but true. I have seen a steady decline in Canada since 1998. Things get worse every year.

I don't get why so many indians think foreign countries can change their lives. You are an average student soo instead of hustling in India by doing fresher jobs, you go to Canada for expensive education from dubious colleges in hopes of getting a job ?\nI say that if you are talented you can make big in foreign countries but if you know you are an average Joe then you are just wasting money and time in Canada. It would be less torturous for you to just hustle in entry level sales job in India than going to Canada.

I had migrated to Nz 3 months back and i gotta say its the exact opposite of whatever Canada has to offer . There is work life balance here, not much of pressure , the people are easy going and its turning out to be the best decision of my life .All the best to my brothers and sisters trying to make it big..

Dubai is no longer how it’s being described. Only goras get paid more, not desis holding western passports. The salaries are no longer high. It’s extremely advanced in infrastructure, but racism exists. The weather is extreme just like canada and we have gorgeous winters! Dubai is not for everyone, you need sharp hunger instinct to make it here.

Filming in Public is a Crime especially when you film the police and show their tyrannical behavior. They will come for you and hunt you down and charge you and make up all kinds of lies try to financially destroy you throw you in jail. While I agree as a Canadian of settler origin, it's expensive to live pretty much anywhere comparable in the world now...As for the U.S., you might make a lot more money but they have an at-will employment system where they can fire you for any reason or no reason at all (we have much stronger labour laws) and there's no federal paid maternity leave in America whereas here women have a year paid maternity leave and a daycare subsidy now, so for me, the social benefits outweigh what the U.S. offers. ugh seeing the software engineering salaries in the US makes me feel like I'm being given a poor man's salary here in Canada

the country with the most of opportunity is the US ! No wonder the US has millions of millionaires than any country in the world. Even Canadians like Alex Trebek or Justin Bieber made it big in the US, not Canada…. In fact, Canada benefits from the US economy big time. And yet, Canadian economy is way behind the US…. just look how bad the Canadian dollar fares against the USD, making Canada in my opinion a cheaper country to live in. Reason why these women say Americans move there. When in fact, 400,000 Canadians flock to the US and live half the year here, not in Canada ! Canada has also less attractions to visit while the US has everything! from deserts, rainforests, canyons, beaches in 50 + National Parks, hundreds of National Monuments & thousands of beautiful State Parks. Why do I know ? I traveled all of the US….so beautiful….. i hope Canada can boast a paradise like Hawaii, Guam USVI, Puerto Rico to name a few. I had been to 85 countries, covered as much in each country. I can say the USA is the most beautiful in the world. Canada is no comparison. No way im moving to Canada…. i have the best weather year round here in California….

I am an immigrant to Canada, though I've lived here for over 45 years. I'm very happy my parents chose Canada.\n\nHowever, Canada is facing an enormous housing shortage and our medical system is over-stressed. I'm all for accepting lots of immigrants, but we need to make sure our infrastructure and housing supply can keep up.

We are fine as we are, there are less problems here who go around doing such illegal activities. All this is for those people who are earning crores by doing such work sitting in Canada. We will have to work hard no matter which country in the world we live in. Let us live in peace, this is our request. Doctors in Canada do NOT have their patients best interest in mind, all they care about is making money!

In Canada, there are private clinics which can make additional charges. Some ppl do this to avoid wait times in hospitals

He is saying all that and discouraging people but I guarantee that he isn’t leaving Canada with on expire visa,no residency or citizenship. He will relocate but always making sure that he have access. I hate seeing videos like these or people discouraging others people but isn’t willing to give up their access permanently.
