You need to know that Egypt is a country that is hard to get visas to USA, or Canada. They maybe jealous that other countries in Africa are having visas so easy to those two contries. Many Egyptian told me it is almost impossible to get a visas to go to Canada or USA. So, those Egyptian working at the boarding to the plane are jealous.

Saw the writing on the wall 15 years ago left for warmer, more hospitable pastures. Socialism has slowly destroyed what 'was' Canada. I visit often. Some friends are multi-millionaires from property market, others live literally paycheque to paycheque renting and can't get ahead. Looks nothing socially or economically like the country I immigrated to in the late 80s.

Canada is not perfect and it has its ups and downs. As a Canadian, I still stand with my head up high and say I love this land of my birth, and I know there are many beautiful places in the world but there is none like home. Many have abused the system here, and play a major role in high crimes, high housing costs, and lack of stability. Like an ungrateful child, they forget the good things.

As an immigrant myself living in Canada for 11 years, I had challenges going to school but I overcome and graduated. Some immigrants, specifically the middle age would love have easier path which is not always available. The feds try to attract immigrants but at the same time the moment you step into Canada as a professional immigrant, your degree or previous foreign credentials turn into garbage. ? Big oversight here. Immigration credential fraud was/is a big reason many immigrants have had to re-educate in Canada. The cheats/bad eggs in the past who bought their diplomas or forged their credentials had destroyed a very welcoming country, hence the reason for this in the first place.\nAlso, asking Canadians to send out welcoming committees to new arrivals is another great way to irk Canadians who have always been way more friendly and opening than most.

The government could try to incentivise families to have more children. Canada like most Western nations has a low birthrate that does not replace itself, therefore immigration is needed to fill in the population gaps. So long as couples have one child or less, the government will have to turn to immigration. A declining population would devastate the economy. Don't believe the hype that not having kids is a favour to your country, it's not, they'll just import others.

I am a c++ programmar moved to canada 5 years ago looking for a job in tech . Three years of searching not found any job in tech . i did cleaning, taxi driver and restaurant job just get by . I was working in a very reputable company in back home. I made a mistake was move to Canada.

Canada is no longer a top option for people for many reasons but the main reason for a massive decline in this country is how things degraded since Justin Trudeau and the Liberals took office. i have never seen our country this bad my entire life. its almost unrecognizable. a leader who blocks foreign interference investigations in our elections has something to hide. this government is corrupt not only Canadians see it, but the world sees it.

The government has made a Canada a place where there is no way for an average middleclass earner to raise a family we are simply taxed to death. Anyone who wants to have a chance to put a roof over their head and not be slaved to this new form of Corporate Robber Baren basically has to leave Canada. This is a nice place to live its has way too many laws and regulations but it still is relatively safe and has a better than average School and Healthcare system. However we are taking in way more people than the system can handle and the only way to pay for it is to raise taxes and the cycle continues.
