As a Canadian, I would not move to the states. But that being said I would love to spend a lot more time visiting state side. My GF is a US citizen but she want to move here to Canada while her children want to stay state side.

Canada education is first class and not like India where only a few good colleges focus on practical education. Overall Canada is amazing with good roads, govt services, less corruption but you have to work hard to survive. Dont expect freebies in Canada like how people expect in India. Canada does not have the rotten caste system based reservation. Canada is a good place for your children's future if they are intelligent and study well.

I was never an immigrant. Born in Canada probably 6th or 7th generation Canadian. And I'm sure I am not alone when you here the struggles we had. Do those immigrants think they should have everything just given to them. Highest immigration in the G9, Lowest housing supply in the G9. 1 in 4 Canadians must be incapable of logic to not see tge connection. Housing used to be cheap and plentiful in Canada. It made life enjoyable, and only one parent had to work, so Canadians could have kids. Now the Canadian citizen loses the most mone ever to taxes and is replaced by India and Chinas unstable, and ever-increasing spillover population.

Rent prices was on the roof.\nBesides that there's too many foreigners, half the city is trying to learn English and consequently the city's identity is lost. \nBut i guess this lost of identity is happening everywhere in Canada. There is NO DREAM in Canada. The doctors, electrical engineers, and financial professionals have Big waste of time here. A very well experienced Doctor from say India has got way more practical experience and surgery. What all they need time is to get some system training. A Dentist, ophthalmologist, heart surgeons, orthopedic and so on with small training they can be easily absorb in the system after thorough check on skills.

Both my parents respective countries are cheaper, safer and have better social services than Canada, despite having smaller economies. It is easier to buy property in those coutnries too. I'm not surprised immigrants are leaving. \n\nWe are now a country where nationals are getting older and the only thing keeping the population from declining is immigration. If immigrants stop coming I am not sure Canadians will be ready for the decrease in the standard of living that will cause. Corporate landlords, banks and REITs will be just fine lol fml.

The problem is not the number of immigrants and foreign workers.. it's where all of them want to go.. Vancouver and Toronto. How about bringing them to the under populated cities and towns in Canada to help those cities and towns? In Toronto, you see South Asians driving cars with Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia plates but they're living here.. Immigration Canada needs to address this that's one other major reason why there's shortage of housing in major cities.
