I am in IT, immigrated to Canada from Punjab around 16 yrs ago. I never applied for any job since I landed and was never without a job too. Its actually recruiters who keep on contacting me by checking my LinkedIn profile or seeing my resume online. In recent 1-2 weeks too, I got 6-7 offers. I live in Manitoba with a decent affordable house and have a decent affordable life. \nI love Canada. Living here happily with no complains.

My husband has been here since 3 years of age for over 50 years now, I have been here for over 30 years and we are leaving in the next year. We are both dual nationality Canadians and are going back to the UK. Trudeau has totally destroyed this once beautiful country. We grew up here in the 70's and 80's, they were the good old days, that Canada is now gone for good!

Canadians are leaving Canada and that's what should be concerning. As Canadian born and raised now retired, I have finally had enough if the past 3 decades of crap in this country and also found a way to immigrate out of Canada to a country who places its citizens FIRST!

Like me, I already want to move back. Canada was overglamorized. I think I'm just gonna finish my post grad work permit and move back home. At least there, housing is still within my reach. It's rare people doesn't own homes. You can grow food in your backyard. Can live without debt in any way if you choose as we dont rely in mortgages and credit cards or credit scores.\n\nCanada is good in pictures, but not totally in real life. And what I realized is every country has issue in corruption, government, capitalism etc. There's no perfect country, might as well, just have an almost perfect life with loved ones.

Canada's biggest problem, other than Trudeau/Singh being in charge is that there are only a few major cities that people gravitate to. If the boundaries were pushed outside of Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, things may become more affordable. All the land in between Toronto and Windsor. The issue is it would take companies expanding to these places.

For all Indians reading this, try UK, Australia or USA. Canada is too difficult to settle in for those 3 reasons: integration, housing and work. Not to mention lousy weather.

It's really that every person has their own agenda and priorities, it can be in Canada or any part of the world. It's not having to move out, it's working towards your own goals.

Canada is great! Just move out Toronto and expensive cities. I leave in a boring city so I can afford to live well, although I love city life. You complain about healthcare? Move, eat well, and go to the emergency room only in case if you have an accident. Relationships are not great though.

I know a lot of people who are going back now. People who came with a PR and have an average yearly income of 190000 cad. \n\nIndia is growing at a higher rate than Canada. Standard of live used to be better in Canada but now with high cost of living, that is changing. Medical facilities are in doldrums in which India excels. Canada needs to rethink about their policies else more educated people are gonna leave. \n\nI would rather buy a flat in Mumbai than Canada at this point.

There's a smug quality to it all. Oh how wonderful and accepting are we - in contrast to those Trump people to the south. Here in Halifax the changes are both stunning and alienating as the premier seeks to double the province's population by 2060. My family and I immigrated from the U.S. 20 years ago, and I doubt any of us will remain here much longer. Living in Canada has made me realize how Canadian I am not. I actually stand for something. Canada's future is mass immigration and digging things out of the ground and selling them to China and the US.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.

I am a Czech pilot and our company contracts us with different companies. I spent over half a year in Canada between 2018-2020. I have returned for the first time since Corona pandemic and I was shocked by the price increase everywhere. It was not a cheap country back then in my eyes but it costs an arm and a leg just to fill the stomach. Prices have doubled for many comodities since 2018. Sure in Europe it used to be way cheaper than it is now... but here it just blew my mind.\nYet half of the cars on the roads are huge pickups, people are dining out...

Why would you say the “cost of healthcare in Canada is higher than in Europe” when it’s literally paid-for by our taxes? I mean it doesn’t cover everything (same as UK) like doesn’t cover pharmaceuticals, physio, hearing aids, or dental for most people (they’re changing that slowly thanks to our socialist party that’s been keeping the libs in line), but it’s ridiculous to say it’s costly since for most tax payers it’s basically free. Duh.. it doesn’t work perfectly b/c they are not funded enough b/c rich don’t pay enough taxes, but it suffices. At least everyone is covered unlike the US where only the rich have good healthcare and no medical debt. Very deceptive video.

That’s a major lie wrapped up in some truths which makes it more deceptive. The fact is, they have not been disallowing permits to build. Sure in some parkland towns they don’t allow too much building like in Banff. But otherwise, Canada is a capitalistic nation. Private investors build homes, not the public government so much. Home building is PRIVATE INDUSTRY just like groceries are private industry, NOT PUBLIC. If right wingers don’t like that, then that means they don’t like capitalism. Good, that should wake them up! Yeah once recent immgrants have slept outside the shelter referral center for a couple of months they quickly learn that the government does not care about them. It has no ability to accommodate them and has no interest in supporting those with no jobs and no skills and barely able to speak english.
