I would deport a lot of people if I was U.S. president, but deporting Dreamers is a bad idea. There should be a bipartisan compromise: strict immigration enforcement combined with a path to citizenship for Dreamers (which is something that was unsuccessfully negotiated during Trump's first term). I'm not a Trump supporter, but I want to see Congress work together on immigration in a bipartisan manner.

My ex-husband was from Central Ameri, a and I've known hindreds of people who have come here illegally throughout the years and NEVER until this past year have I known of anyone being deported without a court date first. Well, an ex family memeber of mine got caught at the border twice (once in 2023 and once in 2024) and was deported twice with NO COURT DATE! So, whatever people THINK is going on, they're wrong. He has 1,460 days in this 4 year term so that would mean starting day 1 he would have to be deporting 13,698 people each and everyday to do that, and that's 24 hrs a day without doing anything else.
