Close Reading

Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. You owe it to Canada, give something back before you start taking.

Immigrant wishful thinking. Canada does love immigrants and most of it's populace are immigrants, but that is only for well documented immigrants with high human capital. Canada uses a point based system to see whether new immigrants can contribute to society. Trudeau is making things worse. Look at the influx of Haitians coming to Quebec. Too much rhetoric not enough learning.

I'm sick of being invaded! Get the fuck out seriously! If only we could have a kind of Donald trump for the Canada! \n\nI never thought that i would say that one day but I'm a french canadian and I have a message to all my english canadians, we must to forget our differences for once because we are the REAL Canadians here and it's time to be unite against the real threat. I know between us it never has been perfect because we are different, but after all this is OUR land not them. They just try to make a Coran's Lands 2.0\n\nAnd it pissed me off that those fucking immigrants can go first and not the native populations that they were firsts and they welcomed us. We give them too much privileges!\n\nbtw with Trudeau it's not gonna change for the best.

Muslims should be submitted to DEPROGRAMMING and the debunking this nonsense. Some guy in the desert was sent by God to tell people not to drink wine to cover their faces,chop off the head of their enemies!!?.This is nonsense.We have too much RESPECT for Religion in general.Adam and Eve talking snakes,,Noahs Arc,.Religion is ok as a tradition but taking things seriously you have to be crazy.Is religion a choice? Well if you are brainwashed as a child and told or lead to believe you will not be loved unless you are religious then it is really not a free choice.Much brainwashing has occured in Childhood so it's not a rational adult making a rational decision. It's little Hajira trying to please her disapproving religious and ofter violent Daddy underneath it all.It is NOT simply a free choice.

The niqab looks ridiculous.  It looks like what a bank robber or someone with a facial defect would wear.  The hijab should not be mandatory either.   Even the Quaran is not specific about the modest attire it prescribes (for both sexes).  There is too much pressure for Muslim women to put on this stupid attire.   It's pathetic that Muslims have to fear speaking out to even mildly criticize their religion and truly horrifying that most Muslims actually support killing people for leaving the religion.
