As a Canadian Trudeau is a fool. He's one of the most hated, if not the most hated Prime Minister in history. He's a known liar and has acted like a dictator in this country over his tenure and continues to send OUR money to fight a war on the Ukraine that most Canadians have no interest in. It's funny reading Americans and people all over praising this guy. If you like him so much, you can keep him. Most people would he glad to be rid of Trudeau.

A message to Trudeau. Put an export tax on the Oil and Electricity sold to the United States. Open up new European Markets for Oil and Natural Gas product and sell directly to Europe and Japanese markets. China needs oil, there is plenty of market around the world for our products. The Tariff's imposed by Trump is only going to make product to the US more expensive for their own citizens, and with Tariff's on all American imports, if they can't make it, or they don't have the raw materials to make it themselves, they will have to pay more. It is not necessary to impose Tariff's on USA Products to penalize Canadians, but Canadians will find new markets to replace the US, and we won't even notice it happened. We have alternatives. The southern islands are great vacation locations, and with the weather disasters they have suffered over the past few years, they could use the tourist support to help rebuild, and, their people are friendly and don't carry guns.

I’m Canadian. My family have always been Liberals but I’m not much of a Trudeau fan myself. For today, it doesn’t matter whether you like the man or not, Trudeau deserves a standing ovation for his speech and the actions he is taking. Canada is a drop in the ocean that is the U.S Economy. the U.S will not feel the affects of reciprocal tarrifs like canadians will. This is about pride of a single man. Rather than co-operate with Trump, Trudeau has signed a death warrant on his own country's economy.
