I live in the area where they go threw the border and they can basically walk right threw the border as most of the border stations are closed at night. They may want to be careful as people are putting Conibear traps along the border to catch people from going on their land illegally. The government leaves the border wide open and in the winter the Ice bridge is open on the St. Lawrence so they can walk right in. They don't need someone to bring them across, they can walk right in. The Clinton County Sherriff is full of poop and just reading a statement. They are not soft on crime up here because I live here in Franklin County that is next to Clinton County and both Counties are have some of the laziest law enforcement that never solves any crime, they just accost the people that have got in trouble before and other innocent people to create revenue to pay the public employee's that really don't do anything for what we pay them. I can tell ya at the border you are lying how easy they can come and go as they shut all the border stations down between Champlain and Massena at night and they can come and go as they please!

I'm Australian. This is absolutely appalling. What Biden, Harris did to your country is deplorable. If anyone has seen our show here Border Security Australia, as soon as you land at the airport, they have spotted potential individuals who have an intention to work without a working visa. As soon as that is determined, they are put back on the next flight to their country of origin. Biden/Harris destroyed the U.S, in every aspect. We are all totally perplexed how this was allowed to happen. I mean, buses??? To transport illegal migrants to hotels??? No idiot country does that. Truly unbelievable. Biden would have to be the WORST President Americans had

Im Canadian and while the tariffs are gonna suck, I completely understand why Trump is doing it. Our government is an absolute clown show and what's worse is now the politicians and corporate media here have spun this whole thing as Trumps fault and alot of Canadians are falling for it buying into this whole US vs Canada BS. Like this all coulda been avoided if our politicians would've actually fixed the border YEARS ago, instead of legalizing heroin, making a gender neutral national anthem and making it illegal to misgender someone.
\n
\nHonestly I'm so embarrassed to be Canadian these days that being the 51st state is pretty appealing. I support gun rights, low taxes, deporting illegals, love proper BBQ and work for a paycheck. So if anyone in a red state is hiring, I'm happy to relocate..

? first of all get it right mayor Adams is a criminal and he embezzled a lot of money from New York I grew up in the Upper East Side in New York okay and I used to like him until he was caught and and plenty of proof it's not about him doing anything about the migrants it's the fact that he changed his tune all the sudden when he's caught and Trump is willing to drop the cases as long as he goes with the flow and does with Trump says but if he doesn't he's legally allowed to bring the case back up that's why they have the case in court and the Seven judges resign because they refuse to drop a case a new was being dropped for political reasons not because he wasn't guilty and the fact that Trump had in writing that he could bring the charges back up there's only one thing that can mean if he doesn't go with the flow and be a good little soldier and doesn't do exactly what the orange buffoon tells them they can bring the charges back up that's never been done and is highly suspect that's called blackmail!\n\nBy the way a Democrats don't disagree with deportation and not letting illegal violent criminals into the country but we do disagree with separating women children and babies from their mothers and fathers and we do disagree with just deporting people that are brown black and Muslim many of them that aren't even violent now you can't tell me that it's the most racist deportation ever you name any Canadian any Australian or european that's being deported that's here illegally there's plenty of them I have plenty of friends that know people they work with that are Australian and Canadian and European that are illegally you don't see them getting deported I wonder why they're all white that's why!\n\nTrump wants to say he's only deporting violent criminal gang members more than half of the plane that he deported to a couple of different countries had plenty of people that weren't criminals or gang members and he even ended up deporting American soldiers and vets by mistake and they used a military carrying jet that cost $242,000 for every round trip 12 hours as opposed to what every other president uses a regular Boeing style jet that cost $102,000 for that round trip now you tell me that saving money that's called just showing off and guess who pays for that and he wants to do that every day oh that's a great way to save money?\nPlay you got Trump being harsher on Canadian Mexico than our enemies China and Russia oh that's right he's budding up and siding with Russia now over Ukraine telling the world Ukraine started the war? when Putin is obviously the aggressor and the war starter who even said on TV that he would have this war 3 months and no Russians would die! You now have this clown kissing his ass and spreading Russian propaganda that zielinski is a dictator Which is far from true because if it were true Trump would be actually kissing his ass like he does with every other dictator? I'm lying about he has a 4% of ratings Which is far from the truth he's got 54% rating zelensky which are higher than Trump's right now Trump's ratings are below that and they're going down fast!\nHe is crushing in the stock market he's crushing the economy and grocery prices are sky-high thanks to his tariff solution quote that he doesn't have a clue how they work

I sincerely don't understand why people have an issue with people who came here illegally getting deported. It's not at all racially motivated or discrimination. Whether they are serious criminals or just entered illegally - it is not right for them to be here, or be provided services paid for by tax paying Americans. As an educated American citizen, If I want to move to UK or European countries I have to jump through many hoops, prove I have my own money to support myself, and possibly meet a language requirement. Why is it that we just accommodate anyone who wants entry to USA? It baffles me. I have friends all upset about deportations and it's ridiculous. I can't understand why we bother to have any laws if we don't enforce them? I have 2 family members who immigrated here LEGALLY. That's the only way it should be allowed and we should up the requirements to gain entry as well.

1. Britishers belonged to Britain yet they captured america, killed natives and put a name Canada.\n2. The same British invaded already oppressed Indians for centuries and looted our country.\n3. Due to colonialism we learned English and now trying to overcome our poverty (created by British) by finding opportunity and living peacefully.\n4. You should be rather happy that Indians are living here. Not cruel and terrorising muslims. They have option to go back to homeland given oppression.\n5. As an Indian i will never live elsewhere only if i had to feed my family then might else never! So be grateful and remember your past!

The commentary here sounds so much like U.S. citizens griping, it's almost funny, but also sad. Maybe Trump the ignoramus is right... do Canadians really want to give up and just become part of the USA? I doubt it, but if you're in any doubt as to where to live, don't try just south of you. It's got all the problems you mention and then some. And of course it's still a great country; I was born here and live here happily. But I've also been to Canada four times since the 1980's, and each time I am just wowed by the many ways in which Canada seems ahead of the USA. The grass truly is greener on the other side of the fence... just be aware of what you have, and that you have an amazing country, too. Griping is now epidemic in the United States... it doesn't lead anywhere good, and it accomplishes nothing.

I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

Comparing the US to Canada, I notice we have more freedoms here in Canada in spite of the high cost of living, and because of the freedoms we have more solidarity to call Canada our home. We don’t pack a piece when we leave home to run errands, we don’t whirl the maple leaf, we don’t adorn our buildings with the maple leaf, and we don’t wear maple leaf clothing. We don’t do any of these things because we don’t need to, because we are not paranoid, and that is why we don’t have the level of violence that is in the US. This land is our home, and it has always been peaceful for the most part, until now that Trump is touting threats of taking Canada as the 51st state. He wants Canada because we have the natural resources that the US needs. He will build a direct line to Alaska. He will drill all over Canada wherever he wants. He will kick Canadians off their land to drill. Trump will do whatever he wants because he’s a business man. He does not take others into consideration, just his own plans to meet his own selfish gains. What Trump is doing are illegal manoeuvres and he must be stopped. There has got to be a limit within legal guidelines to stop this insanity.

Don’t they understand that being in the USA illegally could land them in Guantánamo Bay Cuba for cruel and unusual torture by the USA? Why on earth would they want to come into a country like the USA which is declining? There is no freedom or liberty here. The USA is still a master and slave economy just in different ways with white supremacist British Americans leading the master and slave relationships.\n\nThey should really stay in their countries and force renewal of those countries \n\nBut the US is dying, and the end of the USA is approaching. Clearly the British Americans, who are in charge see this and will either commit suicide of the country or commit mass genocide of the Americans while the British Americans escape. \n\nThe USA is no great place to be \n\nThe conversation in the USA is strictly between the white masters excuse me, the British ethnic white masters and their black slaves, who are basically wage slaves. \n\nThree chairs to the Mexican border patrol, and Mexican police trying to contain this massive crowd. \n\nI strongly suggest that businessman who are Mexican citizens who can manage soccer stadiums filled with these illegal immigrants help to contain this population of liberation seekers, and two persuade them into becoming citizens of central or South American countries or of other countries, such as Eurasia, Africa, Australia, and such where they probably would have a better Sense of stability, especially in mainland, Europe, but not the United Kingdom, which is the troublemaker behind each of their countries problems

This is really sad becuase life after deportations is tough for somebody who was raised in USA. I was taken to the U.S. as a baby and grew up there, but at 19, I was sent back to Mexico—a country I had no memory of, no connections in, and barely spoke the language. My entire family had migrated when I was little, so I was left to figure everything out on my own.\n\nComing back felt like being thrown into an unfamiliar world. I wasn’t fluent in Spanish, had a weird accent, and my mindset was completely different from those who grew up in Mexico. I used to be outgoing and got along with everyone, but now I’ve become more introverted. I struggle to relate to people, have trouble socializing, and often feel like I don’t belong. I feel completely alone, with no one to talk to in person because everyone sees me as an outsider. Many even think I’m a terrible person for coming back after being raised in the very place they dream of moving to.\n\nMaking friends has been challenging too. Many assume that because I grew up in the U.S., I have more money, and friendships often come with the expectation that I’ll pay for everything.\n\nOn top of that, daily life is a struggle. Renting a place is extremely difficult because I don’t have a co-signer from Mexico, and they won’t accept one from the U.S. Getting legal documents like a passport is nearly impossible because my parents haven’t been in the Mexican system for over 19 years, and officials tell me they have no way to prove who I am. Unlike in the U.S., where there are laws against discrimination, I face rejection at every turn here.\n\nThis life is hard. I wish my family had never migrated—or at least had done so after I was old enough to understand the risks and what could happen in the future.

Hi everyone, I'm just going to weigh in some experience here. These people have given up on their government to fix things. They had it good before when Venezuela was wealthy not so long ago. They want that back. Who wouldn't. They want a chance at a better life . They have in most cases already sold all possessions for traveling money and bribes or security. They are scared and tired of traveling. They got told to come to America by someone. I wish we could afford as a country to take them all and it be ok and they build a good life here. I wish it was like that. The system we have needs work for certain. The USA is being overwhelmed by too many coming. We have to slow the roll . But it's a bad situation for all involved. They will look for an illegal way if needed to make it. Hence the cartels step in and offer a way in exchange for money or drug smuggling and the trouble gets worse. There is no simple solution here. Rough on everyone.

Happend to see many videos from diff countries depicting rubbish behaviours from Indians. I support visa rejections. Here in north America many north Indians are behaving like uneducated ones i would say. Zero civic sense , no standard no value for relations , zero empathy n tooooo greedy . I had respect for them until i met them in person. Wonder how these many people reached here !!! Lack of education is highly evident in them!! Ladies behave like men. Its interesting to observe n analyse these people. Proud to say that am a South Indian❤ proud to say that i cant understand or talk Hindi. But to be frank , met some humble, educated,super-sweet north Indians as well ❤

I dont mind this ive noticed that in my work many of the foreign workers who are from Somalia work here in Canada only to buy land in there own country and basically put all canada $$ into another country as the money difference is a big difference. So canada should be looking into how many immigrants are working in canada and are simply taking there money and investing in other countries economys

one of two things here she is lyeing about her gender or her service because trans can not go to a war zone due to may reasons. women are very limited to start with.\nSo what happens if your plane was shot down you ar taken prisoner and don't get your meds not to mention what you would be treated like in the mid east. where men are goin to risk lives to free you from where you put yourself full well knowing you would not be treated as any other POW. US military would do all in thier power to free you because they never leave fallen behind. and the push would be higher knowing the treatment you would be going through.\nif being a military pilot was your dream perhaps you had a choice to live with your mind or give up your dream. some choices are hard and not fair they just are.\nas this was done by a very bias news company must question all and any information presented.

I'm a Canadian Syrian, and I have nothing against Indians—in fact, they've helped me a lot in many ways. I just want to share a friendly piece of advice, and I don’t mean to sound racist or anything. It's just something to be aware of.\n\nIn downtown, it's common to see large gatherings where people are dancing, playing loud music, and sometimes drifting cars. There's also a tendency for loud phone conversations on public transport, which can be seen as disruptive since people here are generally more sensitive to noise in public spaces.\n\nThat being said, I have no hate at all—one of my best friends is Indian, and I really appreciate how they always support me without expecting anything in return. Just wanted to share this as an observation. Thanks!

I love this as an Indian. Modi was getting too close to Trump and forgetting about our core foreign policy principles of strategic autonomy and multi-alignment. This is a much-needed wakeup call.\n\nNow I can tell you about at least one county that will be restricting market access further and investigating American tech companies after the one owned by Mr Sam Altman. Guess who's not purchasing the F35 or Strykers anymore that Trump was pushing on call with Modi. I can also tell what the world's second largest car market bigger than the US will think of Fords and Harleys and cooperation on China. Guess who's going to align with the rest of the BRICS on dedollarization.\n\nChoices have consequences. When the US wasn't here for the past four decades, we engaged with Russia to counterbalance China. If the US wishes to squander away the hard-fought goodwill it has built over the decades, it's upto them. We were aligned with the soviets before this, we can continue on that path.\n\nWe don't have to use Fords and IPhones you know, even if Modi opens up a little bit of market access for them. \n\nThey are within their rights to deport people violating the law, but if they're going to shackle them, our treasury is going to send more American dollars home. Dedollarization now.

This isn't a surprise to the 70+ million people who voted for Trump. It's exactly what they voted for, so what's the story here again, feelings? Geez. They'll be fine. They're not being injured, and no one cares what India thinks of the US. India has preferred Russia to the US for a while now anyways. They've hated America for years. Borders will be wide open again like CNN prefers soon enough. I'm hoping they pick up the pace. There's only 4 years to file out as many people as possible who have broken US immigration laws. Chop chop

As someone who works in law enforcement, I can say that from all types of restraints, those are used for longer transports because are more comfortable then the rest. When a person is in custody, per policy they need to be in restraints. Nothing wrong here.

Trump dgas. His job is to head ‘em up, and move ‘em out. I thought was crystal clear in Nov. As long as we ain’t roughing them up, idc how we get them out of here. They’re supposed to be mostly all criminals first anyway. They’re probably all in jail in India now. \nAnd if you live in a world where you welcome this invasion, then Fed aid may be a problem obtaining.

All your reasonings for Indian not getting visas are invalid or self serving for your Indian middle class Angrezi viewers. \n\nIndia, as U say, in the aggregate is indeed rising. But Indians — both padh and unpadh — have NOT risen and are NOR rising in tandem with India’s rise. \n\nWe see it all the time in places where Indians live in large numbers as in New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, the Bay Area… …\n\nMany Indians, even techies with all kinds of information on their finger tips when they sit in front of their computer screens, are unprepared on the local culture, ethos and traditions and history, just because thay have a loooong list buddies and relatives in their e-Rolodex on the day they land here. Their lack of curiosity in the local land is astounding. \n\nSecondly, getting rejected for visa is routine in many countries. They don’t haveto give you ANY reason why they reject your visa, no matter how well placed or well connected you are in India. \n\nIn my own case, I graduated from UC Berkeley, a premier internationally known school with in engineering with a PhD in 1984. Decades ago. \n\nMy education at Berkeley was ENTIRELY on scholarships and fellowships and fee waivers. \n\nMy family was not the so-called urban middle class living in 1, 2, and 3 BHK flats in urban India., or of land lords or of mid level bureaucrats, or judges or in the Indian corporate babudom . \n\nWe were from what is called in the US as working class. In India the terminology would be more offensive, “lower class.” \n\nFor my graduation, I applied for my mother’s visa (my mother, who became a widow at 39, raised us under great difficulties with a meager pension of INR 350. She had not gone to school beyond 5th grade and she had no ancestral property, not even a red brick in her ancestral home. \n\nMy mother’s visitor visa was rejected and to this day — I am in my 70s now — it hurts me that she was not present when I received my PhD at Berkeley, one of the top-rated int’l universities. They rejected her visitor visa probably because she had nothing to show as her assets in her application. \n\nBut later. with me getting a job here as a research engineer in a large corporation, my mother visited the US five times. \n\nNot only that, even my older brother and sister in law got a ten-year multiple entry visitor visa when the came for my daughters wedding. \n\nThe point I am trying to make to your mostly upper middle class internationally well connected viewers is that visas are ALWAYS a privilege, never a right, no matter how well placed and well connected in your home country. And how well versed you are in Angrezi and how good you are in your Angrezi accent, partly British and partly Amreeki. \n\nKollengode S Venkataraman.

Just come here Legally and there is not a problem. Simple as that. You can stay and chances are that you will be taken of. Yes, honey, Africans will be the next deportations if they didn't come into OUR country legally. It's ILLEGALL to come into ANY country and stay without paperwork. ANY country would do the same so why is America being treated so badly for doing what is right and legal?

Biden years when president was weak and migrants were successful. Usa needs to be as we are today! Brave! Yes I'm American Mexican thanks to Mexico for not having a opportunity for family that they migrated here legally submitted paperwork & now 45 years later we have freedoms. With inflation hurting working class we Need more income, but still appreciate what I got

Goes to show you how many South American countries are run by dictators and the average citizen I'm not talking about the criminal element who could also be women not just men are sent here. As I said before a man and his wife with children who want to come here legally to bring their trades with them and pursue the American dream and have their children enrolled in American schools work and whatever industry that they have experience with or schooling themselves are welcome. The individual very leery about just the men and just women coming across the border without family there's a subliminal message there very dangerous sorry to say and this is coming from a legally registered independent voter neither Republican nor Democrat

Take it as a sign. Go back home. Fix your own country and problems. Tired of paying for everyone’s freebies. I am beyond frustrated. You come to the United States illegally. Majority want to wave your own country’s flag. Disrespect our way of life. Don’t conform. Nope. Be proud of where you come from. And fix it. We are Not here to fix your issues. Still overcoming ours. But I love my America!! God Bless Her

you cannot come here right now, we have people here who are struggling too. I’m sorry that your country isn’t safe or has a lot of problems, but people in the US can’t afford groceries either and the gov doesn’t help the homeless, disabled or elderly enough as it is. No one should be entering the country until every single homeless citizen has been given whatever appropriate help they need and a place to live. Until our own poor citizens have been given sufficient amounts for food. Some elderly US people get $23 in SNAP monthly and are expected to eat and survive on that, while illegals are handed cards with $800 on them to eat with. How is that ever ok? \nSome of us are existing on like $600 per month, we have veterans living on the streets. These things must change before we can help anyone else. I am not unsympathetic to your cause, but I see too many struggling citizens right now that I have to care about first.

Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. Im fairly certain its a good demonstration of what a different culture would experience in their own country. This is especially noticeable in markem with the Chinese population. \n\nLet me say this loud and clear. We didnt let you come here so you could start your own countries inside of our country. And beleive me, your gunna get rocked and put in your place if you guys keep coming here and being disrespectful. That goes for the any culture who is putting themselves first at the expense of other Canadians, and im not talking about white canadians im talking about all Canadians from anywhere. We re all equal and you will not be allowed to position your selves in a way that gives you immunity to these values. \n\nIm getting really tired of going into business like tim hortons and knowing what the nationality of the owner is by just looking around at the staff who work in fhe business. We let you have a seat at our table to break bread with us in a mutually benifital relationship. But what is pretty evident is that a lot of these people dont like us and if it was up to them we wouldnt exist. They fail to behave in a way that acknowledges the truth. That the family whos heritage is of this land, built this house that your living in. With our low corruption goverments , our clean drinking water, our free health care and education system, with our opportunities that make it possible through merit and hard work that it doesnt matter what family or where you were born. These are attractive features of canada that play a role in why people want to come here. And leave where they were. Its it logical to think that you have more to learn about us then we do of you? Not being on some selfish punk shit is canadas greatest strength. Its that same inclusives mentality that keep the government corruption very small which empowers the citizens to make them successful and able to contribute more back into this system. The very nature of hoarding resources for ones family, same culture, etc are the same oppressive situations many of these people left their countries to seek better opportunities. But once given those opportunities and a chance to decide for themselves, a lot of these people use their liberties to create exclusion and hostility toward out groups. The indians do this in a very overt in your face way, the chinese are more polite about it but both have this way of looking out for their own and not being concerned with anyone else. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites. I know this isnt realitic but it would save them from what a lot of them are gunna end up be exposed to which is experiences with native born Canadians who are going to very rudly show you what happens when you disrespectf someone in their own home. \n\nThe party is over. You people need to start being Canadian and care about Canadians like you care about your own culture or get the fuck out!

I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Should I have to explain why! It's sad but the U.S.A isn't what it used to be. Mostly because of corporate greed and the influence it has on the gouvernment! Just look at how Trump is running things. A country isn't a bussiness, it's a people, without the people a country is nothing. Too bad Trump and his billionaire butt licking friends can't see that!

Trump says EU tariffs will ‘definitely happen’ as Mexico, Canada and China retaliate
\nTrump takes softer line on UK, saying ‘I think that one can be worked out’, while Mexico and Canada vow levies and to strengthen ties with each other

\nDonald Trump has threatened to widen the scope of his trade tariffs, repeating his warning that the European Union – and potentially the UK – will face levies, even as he conceded that Americans could bear some of the economic brunt of a nascent global trade war.
\n
\nIt comes as Trump’s tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, announced on Saturday, sparked retaliation from all three countries. Mexico and Canada have vowed levies of their own while China and Canada are seeking legal challenges.
\n
\nTrump said on Sunday night that new tariffs on the EU will “definitely happen”, repeating previous complaints about the large US trade deficit with the bloc and his desire for Europe to import more American cars and agricultural products.

\n“It will definitely happen with the European Union, I can tell you that,” he told reporters. “I wouldn’t say there’s a timeline but it’s going to be pretty soon.”
\n
\nTrump appeared to take a softer line on the UK, citing a good relationship with prime minister Keir Starmer while saying tariffs still “might happen”. “The UK is out of line but I’m sure that one, I think that one can be worked out,” he said.
\n
\n“Well Prime Minister Starmer’s been very nice, we’ve had a couple of meetings, we’ve had numerous phone calls, we’re getting along very well, we’ll see whether or not we can balance out our budget.”
\n
\nIn Canada, the department of finance published a list of US products imported into Canada that it will target with a 25% retaliatory tariff starting on Tuesday.
\n
\nThe list shows products that will be hit in the first round of retaliatory tariffs by Canada starting on Tuesday, and mounts to $30bn Canadian dollars’ worth of goods (about US$20bn). The impacted products include tobacco, produce, household appliances, firearms and military gear.
\n
\nCanada is also preparing for a second, broader round of retaliatory tariffs in 21 days that will target an additional C$125bn (US$86bn) worth of US imports. The second list would include passenger vehicles, trucks, steel and aluminum products, certain fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, dairy products and more.

\nClaudia Sheinbaum, Mexico’s president, said her government will provide more details on the retaliatory tariffs she ordered on US goods on Monday. Sheinbaum, in a statement on Sunday, said she will announce details on her government’s “plan B” as she insisted that Mexico “doesn’t want confrontation”.
\n
\n“Problems are not addressed by imposing tariffs, but with talks and dialogue,” she said. “Sovereignty is not negotiable: coordination yes, subordination no.”

\n'Coordination yes, subordination no': Mexican president responds to Trump's tariffs – video
\nSheinbaum and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau spoke by phone on Saturday after Trump’s administration imposed the new tariffs – 25% on goods from Canada and Mexico, with a lower rate of 10% for Canadian oil, and 10% on imports from China.
\n
\nTrudeau’s office said in a statement that Canada and Mexico agreed “to enhance the strong bilateral relations” between their countries. Canadian officials have had extensive dialogue with their Mexican counterparts, but a senior Canadian official said he would not go as far as to say the tariff responses were coordinated.
\n
\n“Now is the time to choose products made right here in Canada,” Trudeau posted Sunday on X. “Check the labels. Let’s do our part. Wherever we can, choose Canada.”
\n
\nTrump acknowledged the sweeping tariffs he has imposed on Mexico, Canada and China may cause “short term” pain for Americans as global markets reflected concerns the levies could undermine growth and reignite inflation. Asian markets, cryptocurrencies and US and European stock futures slumped in early Asian trading on Monday.
\n
\n“We may have short term some little pain, and people understand that. But long term, the United States has been ripped off by virtually every country in the world,” he said. day, Trudeau said: “We’re certainly not looking to escalate, but we will stand up for Canada.” However on Sunday evening, a senior government official from Canada briefing reporters in Ottowa on condition of anonymity said: “We will obviously pursue the legal recourse that we believe we have through the agreements that we share with the United States.”
\n
\nThe official said the Canadian government considered the move by Trump illegal and said it violates the trade commitments between the two countries under their free trade agreement and under the World Trade Organization.
\n
\n“If other legal avenues are available to us, they will be considered as well,” the official said.
\n
\nCanada is the largest export market for 36 states, and Mexico is the largest trading partner of the US.
\n
\nCanada and Mexico ordered the tariffs despite Trump’s further threat to increase the duties charged if retaliatory levies are placed on US goods.
\n
\nChina also said it would file a lawsuit against the tariffs. The imposition of tariffs by the US “seriously violates” World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, China’s commerce ministry said in a statement, urging the US to “engage in frank dialogue and strengthen cooperation”.
\n
\nFiling a lawsuit with the WTO would be a largely symbolic move that Beijing has also taken against tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles by the EU.
\n
\nThe commerce ministry also said the tariffs were “not only unhelpful in solving the US’s own problems, but also undermine normal economic and trade cooperation”. China has said it would take countermeasures to “safeguard its own rights and interests”. It is not clear exactly what form these will take yet. But for weeks Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning has said Beijing believes there is no winner in a trade war.
\n
\nLate Sunday night, Trump said he would speak with Trudeau on Monday morning and shortly after said he would speak with Mexico as well, although he did not specify that he would speak with Sheinbaum.
\n
\nBeyond the official response, people were already thinking of ways to cope with Trump’s decision, including by sharing suggestions on social media for alternatives to US products.

\nOne fan at the Raptors game chose to sit during the anthem while wearing a Canada hat. Joseph Chua, who works as an importer, said he expects to feel the tariffs “pretty directly”. “I’ve always stood during both anthems. I’ve taken my hat off to show respect to the American national anthem, but today we’re feeling a little bitter about things,” he said, adding that he will start to avoid buying US products.
\n
\nIn the streets, people in Mexico were trying to absorb the announcement on Sunday, although some in the capital acknowledged that they were unaware of the measures.
\n
\nIn the border city of Mexicali, across from Calexico, California, some people were concerned about the wider implications of a trade war.
\n
\nDriver Alejandro Acosta says that he crosses the border weekly in his truck to deliver vegetables to US companies. He said he fears US businesses in the Mexicali Valley will no longer want to operate in Mexico and they will move to the US.
\n
\n“If they raise taxes on the factories here, jobs may also decrease,” he said.

As I see most assume that people being here illegally means they must have entered the country illegally. There is no way they were already here for like 9 years created a life abided the law and was late on a form or an error occurred. Unfortunately mass deportation does not allow for grey areas and now all are treated as criminal. And mass deportation can not be done humanely not with the lack of facilities to even house it’s always been a problem, jails were used and are being used.

Without God we all are nothing and the nation that forgets God will be turned into hell. We are not put here on these planet earth to live forever and we sure can’t take anything with us when we die…except Christ Jesus in our hearts. If we can’t love our neighbor as ourselves and live according to God’s word we too will be judged by him one day and if we don’t line up to his statues we will get cast out into a lake of fire. Believe it or not it’s your prerogative.

If they are not here legally they need to go and come back by legal means. Anyone that hire someone that’s here illegally needs to be dealt with as a criminal.

This is going to hurt All Canadians and will extremely hurt Mexico. \nIt's only going to hurt yearly profits of 1% of Americans and those with CanAm's and anything Bombardier or Rotax. The automotive industry will just come back and have to eat the margin losses until they recoup. They still have plants here, they just have to bring everything back, rehab the buildings and start hiring and training folks.\nChina is the problem because they make everything and ship a lot of goods into this country... \nWe joyfully took our major manufacturing there instead of keeping it all here and becoming an industrial complex like they did as perfect capitalistic communists ...\nOh, but I forgot, regulations, mandates and emissions drove away most of our industry along with greed to increase margins. Until those regulations, mandates and emissions standards are changed, there's going to be a major manufacturing concern in this country.

Australian here. The US ranks alongside China as an unreliable trade partner, and I think it would be a huge risk for countries to assume that the US would honour any security pacts.\n\nAll branches of US Government are corrupted:\n\n1. Supreme Court - what would happen in your country if a justice of the highest court in your land was found to have accepted millions of dollars in financial benefits from a billionaire with business before the court.\n\n2. Whitehouse - a convicted felon is currently the President and he is supported by people who can’t even convince him the reality of who pays tariffs.\n\n3. House of Representatives - name one piece of legislation of significance that has emanated out of the House in 4 years? How many ridiculous fishing expeditions have they pursued for the sake of political gain. Responsible for withholding aid to Ukraine for months.\n\n4. Senate - confirmed the appointment of several cabinet members devoid of the requisite experience for their role, including an ex tv host to head up Defence who has issues for alcoholism, fidelity, was head of a veterans group charged with financial mismanagement, is accused of ra8e, and has white supremecy tattoos on his body.\n\nNot a country you can rely on.

Here in BC our government just passed an initiative to open up new manufacturing capabilities to produce former imported US goods here in BC. Canada/US trade will never reach the same level it has previously established. Trump just screwed the US indefinitely.\nP.S.\n Poilievre's lead has vanished since this and is viewed as a US/Musk sell-out. Trump has ruined his chances, he won't be the next PM .

Llet's remember that the US GDP is 30.34 trillion dollars. Canada is only 2.33 trillion. Just one of the fifty States, California, has a GDP of over 4 trillion, almost twice as much as Canada. The total amount imported from Canada to the US per year is about 450 billion US dollars of goods. The US has the advantage by far in staying power here. Plus, Canada's leadership is on uncertain grounds, and Trump has a unified constituancy. He won all the swing States after all. I for one hope it all works out, but it's going to be Canada that will throw in the towel.

Don’t let black women become presidents, Kamala deliberately made a fool of herself on tv while she knew the whole time trump was going to become president again, she was racist and sexist a few times on tv, she insulted black people herself by saying they don’t know what computers are, shes a fool.\nWhite women are far more educated then black women, I’m ok with having Barack Obama again but he’s not running again, so thats that, we don’t have any black men running for president anymore atm, if anything, we cannot let black women become president though, Hillary Clinton is anything else although but eligible to be our leader as shes evil, she wouldn’t take care of American’s, she would’ve only made Putin want to attack America so she’d not have control at all she’d be instead leading us to our deaths.\nAny other white woman but her otherwise mu suffice with being president next, but theres a lot of work needed to clear up atm anyways, with trump coming back once again, we can’t help it now, its to late to go back tk wanting Biden again as we can’t turn out trump for biden since trump won again, so thats just the game we’re playing here atm, we just can’t.

Remember, folks were all Americans… all of us or our ancestors came from somewhere else… And some of us were robbed of our birth right & some of us were stolen and brought here to America… And we had to fight for the right to be considered a full human being… Let that sink in for just one second… Literally people in this country at one point in time were told, BY LAW, they could only be a fraction of a human being hence they couldn’t vote… GROW UR COMPASSION!! There’s blood baked into American soil so that you have the privilege of calling yourself an American… a 360 degree human being! Never forget how we got here & the price paid… never forget to show compassion for those who want to be seen as full human beings! Being acknowledged as a human being, with FULL UNIVERSAL RIGHTS out ranks being an American any day!

Here is the problem. She was a man. She was not a woman. She performed like a man …not like a woman. She “transitioned” with the approval of the Navy and the their support, as well. Why in the hell would any military want to have to through all that with any individual when there are plenty of normal candidates available? She didn’t mention the cost of her transition and the ongoing cost. You could put disabled persons in the cockpit, pay for all kinds of retrofits of the equipment and all the ancillary care needed for that person and they may even be able to pull it off. The question is “why”??? What’s the point??

We each have our little flickers of time here... No one else will ever know much, if any, of what it is like to be who we are, and for the most part no one will ever really care. Our life is ultimately our life, and so long as we are not harming others in the process we must create a life of our own meaning, determining our own objects of importance and committing to their pursuance. Throughout our life we are faced with serious decisions about what we believe, who we are, and what we do, and mostly none of it is self evident. If we look we can always find a reason to regret any decision we make, move or stay, agree or disagree, take the job or quit, marry or divorce, live one path or another... In all cases whatever the choice may be, we will only know the outcome of the one we take, and none we take will ever ultimately resolve the uncertainty of life. However, perhaps it is less about getting a potential course of life right, and more about attempting to do so with an effort of self honesty and virtue. To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. Ultimately no matter what we do or say or believe, there will always be a great many who disagree, or judge, or become upset by our decisions. It is of essential importance that we ensure that among those people, we are not one of them.

God created two genders, male and female, not transsexual. Any military that is filled with people perverse to the way God created them, is not a military blessed by God, and a military not blessed by God is a dangerously weak failure. This fallen world is our TEMPORARY HOME separated from God for a short time because of sin. Read the entire Holy Bible for yourself and the entire Gospel of Jesus Christ for yourself in the Holy Bible. Our eternal salvation is what matters. THE GOSPEL (THE GOOD NEWS) OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR --\n\n Jesus Christ came down here from heaven, God on earth, to be born one of us His own creation, and He lived on earth with us for over three decades, and He taught us about God and His eternal heavenly kingdom and repentance and how to live righteously and He lived a perfect sinless life. Then He gave His sinless life to ALL people from ALL nations to pay for our sins for us, by dying on the cross and resurrecting from the dead three days later, to take the punishment for our sins for us so that justice was served, to defeat eternal death for us to reconcile us sinners with God to give us eternal life with Him, and after He resurrected from the dead to defeat death for us, He lived on earth for forty more days, speaking to many people, then He ascended back up into heaven, and He is coming back again at the end of this world to set up His eternal heavenly kingdom, for all people who believe this and repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Savior, to live in for the rest of eternity, forgiven of their sins and reconciled with God.

And I'm sure with some people coming across the border. There may be a sense of entitlement, but I would think for the majority, it's a sense of hope.\n I wish we could embrace every person. That is good coming across that border with open arms and tell them Hey, it's gonna be all right. It's gonna be okay for you and your family. But unfortunately we can't. It's a hard pill to swallow and it's a final thing to watch. People have to struggle that world is a very cruel place for some. And for others it could be very easy in a sense. I think sometimes we have to have empathy for other people. And if we don't have that we're never gonna grow as a human race. Color should never, ever be a barrier. Language should never be a barrier. The only barrier that we have is hatred and just evil people and good. That is, the barrier that we should be looking at if we ever want to grow into what God created us to be eyes need to be opened. These people aren't coming over here and take what we have. You're coming over here because they want something better for their lives. They have struggled most other lives. I'm sure they have seen death. Famine pestilence, things that we have never seen in this country. Our generation.\n S are spoiled when it comes to things like that. We have to open our eyes a little further broaden. Our horizons and take a look at the situation at hand and not be objective. Be like the men of old and what they were put on this Earth to do is solve problems. That's what men are good for solving problems. And that's what the men of this manner should solve the problems. Use your heads think we can find a solution.

Together let’s do something about it instead of leaving. Canada isn’t a country like China where no changes can be made by its citizens. I’m an immigrant, first arrived here in Canada in 2014. Once I heard the US wants to annex us I asked myself what can I do to help prevent this. I think the quickest way is we need a stronger military. I looked up the Canadian military website and found out me as a permanent resident can also be qualified to apply. Although the compensation isn’t that great, if the US really start being unwise I will definitely apply.

Canada has been recruiting for the armed forces here trying to entice more woman to its ranks. This includes air force. Perhaps we might do a little head hunting south of the border as the removal of transgender DEI (woman) pilots( jet trained) in military already trained seasoned and having see combat in many cases would be an amazing addition to encourage even more woman here to enlist in our Military as a life career! JUST A THOUGHT! Saves money!
