My issue is people immigrate here and bring there customs here but refuse to assimilate to our original customs we could all live together and get along but they left there countries to come here for a better life so to say so leave your crap and enjoy our customs and freedoms you were coming here for stop destroying my way of life to bring your customs here force mine out and reap our benefits I used to be okay with it but as time passes I’m becoming more intolerant to this I want the society back that I lived in as a child it was great now my kids live in a country that they can’t be proud of it’s a joke I’m counting the days till there is a uprising of Canadians that are fed up and will take this matter into their own hands and straighten things out probably will be ugly but you back a calm individual into a corner they got one way out and that’s viscous and aggressive

I think the immigration laws need to change in most countries. Things are no longer the same in the world after the pandemic. The UN rules need to change also. They should not be that a country suffers at the overwhelming amount of immigrants coming into their country. We all have economic problems.

They are bringing all their disgusting ways to the West. They are lying when they say they are coming to study. Some of them are old!!!

You think at this age moving abroad to another country to work and settle down is a wise decision. So don't make a wrong move abroad as a married person or as woman to settle down outside Canada, because its the same everywhere. I have known people coming back to Canada as they grew old outside. Remember there is a difference between making money and secure life in the country which gave you identity. You and your parent were lucky you left Ukraine at the right time otherwise you would have been dead there by Russian bombing. So be patient and don't be lured by greed elsewhere as all those glitters are not gold. Problems are now everywhere ?

All these protesters should be deported immediately. They did sign on their respective student application before coming to Canada. It was clearly written in the application form that they will return to their country of origin after their studies. They are undermining Canadians’ rights. They should be deported

They all think if they come as a student they will get pr so k ow there visa is expired and they want Trudeau to give them new visa they had no intention to study . The hole purpose of a study visa is so complete your studies after your studies are finished you go back home . That’s way there were so so many international students coming to Canada for the past few years it’s a loop hole to get citizenship ?‍♀️?. You have middle aged men doing jobs high school kids usto do for the summer or after school ? send them all back. Canada is looking like India wow Trudeau has ruined Canada in just a short time

Sad to say but, probably these Indians have a contingency plan to make Canada as the second India. They're taking advantage of all the possible immigration programs, until they can bring their entire clan here, which is alarming and not anymore acceptable. They exploited the program and the government seems like they are not doing anything about it. We, the locals, are worried about the turnout in the coming years.? I feel bad for the people who were born here, and especially the first Nations.

I am from India and been living in Canada for 18 years. I am living here with my family and I am so grateful to this country and respect the country and the freedom I have. The thing is homelessness is a fact that is coming from the most broken families. And here cannabis legal. I could see most white peoples don’t want to go to work, even there is enough work for them. And as a country to grow, they need youngsters for the workforce, but unfortunately Canadians people don’t have enough kids to support the country. And the kids are grown from the broken families maybe ending up in the streets. Indians are most of them only marry once and keep their marriage life till the end. So many divorce can ruin the life too. So the students coming here in Canada, how they get visa, Government don’t know that. We can’t blame them, because this is the offer they get from here. \nBut even though I am from India, I have enough from Indian people here in Canada. I always questioned the people from India either you guys respect the culture here or please go back. The reason I love Canada is Canadians are so pleasant and so helpful. I don’t like not only Indians but anyone who is coming to Canada, if you love the country that the country you are not living please leave and don’t mess up this country. Leave your Culture back home. Your festival do it inside of your house don’t block the streets. Keep your Gods inside your home, everyone is not enjoying that what you doing. The worst thing I felt, no respect nowadays and nuisance, late night parties no respect for neighbours and no cleanliness. Because of some people we all are get treated same. Hindus wanted to bring their religion here, Muslims wanted to bring their religion, buddhists wanted their religion here. Can’t blame Christians because Canada is a Christian based country and I never saw them blocking the Road or streets. So anyone so obsessed please leave and enjoy your religion at home where you born.

Sad about leaving Canada? You get taxed up the….., it’s frozen for half of the year, the people are also frozen and they try to stab you in the back (especially in Quebec). A childhood classmate of mine visited Canada and these are her impressions: people are fat, disgusting, it’s boring, depressing, cold, gloomy; every second person is in a wheelchair but they don’t have to be, pretending to be disabled because the government pays them for disabilities, etc. After going back home every person that she saw on the street was extremely gorgeous in her eyes after the horror that she saw in Canada…. This is obviously a little exagerated and coming from someone whose expectations were high but you get the point.\n\nWe don’t need to be driving brand new cars all the time, live in brand new homes and spend thousands of dollars for the services that we don’t really need… life is all about simplicity and being able to enjoy every single moment: so many countries in the world offer that: not Canada.

Ohhh ya mr.president..... first you open the doors for such students, collect their money ( 28 billion ) which is more than canadas military budget and now you say we dont need them...This is hypocrisy.... The stringent policies had to be in place right from inception. U cant say now that you were not aware of the wrong practises going on .....college in strip malls, no classes being conducted, all kinds of scams have happened and no one cared. \n\nAnd students are also to be blamed too....without checking anything they blindly just followed a dream never to be coming true. \n\nInstead of protesting to stay...,ask government to give your money and you will be happy to go back. There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. There was a polling conducted and most Canadians want less immigration from India . Canada is not as big like America . Having so ma y people come in just puts a strain on housing, who would think that people from a hot country would want to go to a cold country…. Just go to a wormer country . Many Indians aren’t even thinking about coming to Canada anymore look for other countries. Or better yet stay in India ??. If you have money you can live a really good life in India . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . And most Indians already own there own house in India so way come to Canada and in India you pay very small taxes as well .?‍♂️ and at the end of the day white people are so racist towards Indians know they look at you like you are the reason there life is messed up ? make India. Great ????. America only has its military going for it it’s such a racist place to live as well . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . Canada and America are only great if you are already rich but if you are poor or middle class life is a struggle. I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. Hold out politicians accountable to make our country great ……… if someone wants to still come go right ahead it’s your life . But I don’t see the point t really ???‍♂️. India. And Japan is the most technology advanced country more than America even . America and Canada are just is just over hyped…… and there people are so racist to our people so way would I want to stay in there country ?‍♂️. And people that will say they want to bring there parents to Canada most of t he time it is cold and they will be inside so it’s better for your parents to live in india. Personally. I have my parents they live in GOA with me they can’t be happier.

There are way to many international students from\nPunjab coming to Canada . It’s alarming canada is slowly becoming India 2.0 it’s scary Canada is losing their own identity. Canada should suspend any students coming from India to Canada . There aim is to not study but get pr . Shameless. Even Indians that have been living in Canada for years are tiered of it making every one else in the community that worked hard to build a life for themselves in Canada are being treated bad

Sure there are certain elements that need to be curbed (like Khalistanis) but they are entirely on their govt who invite them in for vote bank politics. The economy is down in every part of the world, not to mention Canada is hosting refugees from Ukraine/Palestine and other parts of the world who also contributed to the drain on economy, if you can't support them then don't bring them? The Canadian economy has been going down for a decade+, many businesses have left in the past and are still leaving, Trudeau hasn't made it easy for them either, the remaining NEED cheap labor to survive. They also NEED immigrants to bring in their money, its a big part of their economy, without immigrant money their Universities/Colleges/businesses are going to be many times more expensive even for the local Canadians. Canadians have big ego but not much to back it up, from my time here, they try to compare themselves to USA but they're nowhere close, nor is the weather desirable to live here, the guise of friendliness/politeness & some high paying jobs is all they had going for them, and now they don't even have that. /endrant

Indian immigration to Canada is not the same as Indian immigration to the US or other western nations. Most who go to Canada are separatist terrorists or at the very least terrorist sympathizers who want an independent state for the Sikhs called Khalistan. They aren’t coming to Canada to seek better opportunities, they’re trying to escape from prosecution from Indian authorities due to their criminal activities. The majority of Sikhs are peaceful people who do not want a Khalistan. The Khalistan movement doesn’t speak for all Sikhs.

I dont even want to talk about the health care system of Canada it literally sucks. I got my family doctor after 6 years. India me raho Canada ghumne aoo vapis chle jao.. Maybe because many, not all, of the new immigrants hate the country they are coming to, have no desire to integrate, and want to turn it into the same disaster they left behind.

I mean, you come to a country and you have to adjust and learn the language. Pretty straightforward, and most of us are doing it.\n\nBut when on the other side you have people who do not understand the effort and have no patience for it, it is a frustrating experience. It is also annoying that you know they need you here, they know they need you, but none of that is reflected in the way people coming in are treated.\n\nA lot of us also come with skills and accomplishments behind us. And then we need to play fish-out-of-water for a while, speak a language in which we know we sound incompetent and we can see someone underestimating us (because they lack the understanding of what our situation brings). And last but not least, a serious problem with patience and empathy.\n\nThese are all issues you will find in other countries too. But man, Germans are not good at dealing with it. And more and more it seems to me they do not even care (other than the few german friends I have, who always make me second guess my generalisation).

It's bad someone gets treated this way . But the real question is why these people are going to the country whose Ideology is totally opposite of their. These people first enter all Europe begging for mercy , crying , then after reaching certain good size population they started to blackmail , threaten even use violence against there Host , There are hundreds of Riot reports all over Europe. Canada has to start recognising degrees from other countries. Here in B.C. we have emergency rooms closing overnight due to lack of staffing. We need doctors and nurses yet the barriers for those immigrating to get their degrees recognised mean many never qualify.\n\nCanada also needs to look at who we are admitting in and to terminate the family unification policy. When immigration was helping the country grow there was a different demographic coming in. Often it was single men or young married couples. As they came by themselves they assimilated into the mosiac of the country. When you concentrate on immigrants from one country instead of assimilating they setup ethnic communities. \n\nLook into what study groups have said that is contributing to gang violence. It's ethnic groups that have the grandparents, parents and grand kids all living in one home. The grandparents want the grand kids to adhere to their native culture. Unfortunately by time you get to the grand kids they are Canadian. They speak English/French depending where they live with little interest in speaking their ethnic language. There is cultural conflict within the home hence street life is where they find love and caring.\n\nSome cultures are not as community minded. Part of the high cost of renting/housing is based on greed not need. In my own community I know of apartment units now renting at 2,500 - 4,000/month owned by the same people that even five years back you could have rented for 500 - 800. There is no justification for that percentage of increase other than greed.\n\nJob opportunities. Summer employment for school kids is going down yearly. You see local business that use to hire students over the summer month claiming they can't find any workers. They bring in TFW yet Canadian students can't find work. You can tell the owners nationality of a business by the nationality of the workforce. A local store bought by a east Indian two years ago which at the time had a diverse workforce is now entirely staffed by east Indians. Yet who screams racist? \n\nCanada definitely needs to reconsider its immigration policy and bring in major changes.

Wait what are you talking about right to shelter offering generous housing to anyone who asks?! Because I live in Atlanta and my son is homeless in Charlotte and he was homeless in Atlanta and all I see are homeless people lying all over the streets! I'm sure they've asked for housing but they're not getting any! What the f*** is going on!!!! So if you commit a crime by illegally crossing the border and coming here illegally you get good services and housing but people in this country some people have lost their jobs and become homeless and they cannot get help no seriously people what the f*** is going on!!

They're coming over to get those Biden/Harris 20k stipends. I don't blame them at all. At least migrants are getting what they won't give their own citizens

Please add to this the many homeless healthcare workers who have great educations and are not paid the best and are told to wait for housing because there are more people coming to the country and the homeless healthcare workers are the ones who are taking care of the newcomers who are housed while the healthcare workers are asked to wait - some are even MD's who are waiting in their country of birth because they are self-employed and have to pay overhead , staff and medical equipment and supplies. Please let's house our homeless healthcare workers in all the major cities.

Zero-net population growth or very slow growth is desirable for a host of reasons. Immigration is not inherently a virtue. Not inherently a vice either. Its value depends entirely upon the context in which it is taking place. Here are some reasons why Canada should reduce immigration to achieve eventual zero-net population growth.\n\n(1) The ecology: Canada is possibly the world's worst country per capita in producing waste – certainly among the worst. This will require a 20% reduction in waste production per capita simply to keep waste production at the present level. This reduction will not happen. (c) From a global perspective, it is the rich countries, such as Canada, that pollute the most, both absolutely and on a per capita basis. Therefore rich countries should not increase their populations. Immigrants do not come to rich countries to be better ecologists than the citizens of those countries. Immigrants to Canada want to live like Canadians, as Canadians. The problem here is not that they will not assimilate to Canadian ways, but that they will. \n\n(2) Housing: with 500,000 new immigrants a year, housing starts cannot keep pace. The result: ever-inflating housing costs. Rich immigrants compound the problem. \n\n(3) Suburbanization: most of the new housing in Canada is in highway suburbs (over 80%), with their car-driven way of life. Once again, this is bad for the country’s ecological health. In addition, the result will be ever-growing geographies of nowhere. We will not be creating more Victorias or Quebec Cities. We will be creating more Surreys. \n\n(4) Downward pressure on the incomes of most people: the law of supply and demand is very simple: when there is a surplus of any commodity, that commodity becomes cheaper. When a commodity is scarce, its value rises. Labor is a commodity. Workers rightly do not want there to be a surplus of labor. Their livelihoods are threatened. \n\n(5) Future care of the old: the more people we add now, the more people we will have to take care of later, when their working lives are done. Adding immigrants now to pay for the care of the old is therefore a pyramid scheme. Eventually, in a generation or two, the population of the world is set to decline, and the well of immigrants will run dry. Canada should aim for fewer, rather than more, retirees – as preparation for that coming moment.

If Canadians think new govt will solve the problem. They are dead wrong. This is the vicious cycle they can not get out. Their own structure can not support pensions and salaries. They need to bring in new immigrants otherwise the system cycle will collapse. As far as housing is concern. Does Canada have shortage of land ? Its due to policies that new housing is not coming up thus driving prices through the roof. No govt will gonna change that because corporate interests are involved and not house owners wanted their prices to go down. Which happened to be biggest voting block. Thus ordinary young Canadians are feeling the music and they see new students as the enemy. In fact it is the students who go through horrible exploitation ordinary Canadians cannot imagine. Canadians economy is an artificial economy based AND ITS BUBBLE WILL GO POP IF IT STOPS IMMIGRATION. Harsh reality and see if Mr Poilievre gonna change that ??. They are all the same bunch of liars like Trudeau. Don't forget Trudeau was charming prince ones. They all change with Realities.

This is disgusting to listen to. No country on Earth wants millions of immigrants flooding in getting welfare to the moon and being a statistic of crime cause by these immigrants. No one wants that. What makes anyone think they do? They are all going to get to vote. Just watch. They just crossed our border, got welfare better than citizens, and will get to vote. Whoever is doing this to Europe and the USA should be in jail or dealt with per the constitution for treason. Unfortunately the swamp is too much. We have too much corruption in our governments. Time to start realizing this and we are going to have to make a change because protesting and trying to vote isn't cutting it when they rigg things against you and demonize you for not being okay with this garbage they are shoving down your throat.\nAt no point has anyone in my family filled out a green card or visa. I have no idea what it is like to be an immigrant. I can't get that perspective because I have never been one and neither has anyone in my family. But coming from my perspective this is some BS. Coming from someone who didn't have to get a work visa or apply for citizenship ever, this all seems like some BS. There wasn't this kind of migration going on when I was growing up. Where did it come from? Why is it happening now of all times? What are these people being told? Wtf is going on because a born, bred, and raised citizen is highly confused, offended, angry, and fed up.

I am an immigrant myself , cameto canada 15 years ago from India as a student. Back then we dint come to get PR but to improve our skills , there was really only 4 universities we all came to UoT, mcgill, Uof A and BC, to do our postgraduate studies in engineering, medicine and business. We applied only when we got full or partial scolarship….. i now work in a canadian base cmpany as mid level engineering manager. .. the quality of indian students coming in has gone down …kids enrolling in diploma mills and their strategy is to work in tim hortons, because the paid 25 k for tution they are entitled to pr and a job … crazy

No standards in terms of who we bring into the country, it's mostly people who are here to exploit the system or don't contribute in any way. It's just the government doing this unchecked and banks and others lobbying for it because it's just untapped source of victims they can exploit as well. Then there just isn't enough housing available, that's no secret. So for people like this Daniel Bernhard guy to say it isn't the massive influx of people causing any issues is incredibly disingenuous. \nIf you increase immigration, be more selective and not all from the same country. There needs to be more control over the entire immigration system so it doesn't spiral out of control and now everyone is suffering, not just those coming to this country.

Im not sure they all want to go to the US. I Mexico right now, people are all wanting to go to Canada over the US. They can live and work easy in Canada, and the economy is strong. Almost as strong as the US. Most Mexicans know this and plan to go to Canada. This is why most immigrants you see coming to the US illegally are not Mexican

It is so ridiculous that they say on the video that Mexican citizens have a better chance to get across the border from Canada when the US pushed Canada to ask Mexican citizens for a Visa and Canada obeyed right immediately. All those peopele are coming from other countries.

If they were coming here for all the right reasons, they would do it the legal way! They aren’t coming here to be better, their coming here because they’ll get away with just about anything, will get 15k in food stamps and 5k in cash, and we are all paying for it!!!! It’s a disgrace!

The thing about Canada is the the unaffordable housing crisis is also tied to high unemployment and too many immigrants coming in from the Far East and Middle East countries. Now that they are closer to the US with the best job opportunities in the world currently it’s best to come here at all cost. If it drives up home prices and rents no problem because the government is dangerous when it’s in debt needs higher tax revenue. It’s screws with the population that’s already here.

Y are they coming here ? We have no room . They would be better off in other states . How dumb can people get ????? Our country is already in danger of no food, or funds for people that were born here we have to work barely making rent and they just add to it all . Come to New York and surrounding states , it's free to starve and be homeless ... It's soo free we even have people on O2 that tax payers pay for . Again nothing is free in America ...
