Not being a G7 nation India's GDP has risen above Canada, France and UK. The politicians here have Punjabi hangers on around them. Either Indian Punjabis or Pakistani Punjabis. There is a great deal of favouritism by them. Canada must remove the chaffe and recognize the good qualified people.

Wow.. I thought Brampton is city of India. Same to Surrey in B.C. too! The Government need to remove the non-permanent resident time to be included in their citizens application. International students should not allowed to work.

I'm in Surrey BC and we are about 97% East Indian. Where is the diversity? It is similar in other municipalities in the lower mainland. I am definitely a foreigner in my own country.

I’m from Surrey BC and as a woman the interactions I’ve had with the Indian people that come in here has been very negative and threatening to my safety. It’s lead me to have anxiety when I am around male Indians and I am always on guard ready to defend myself if I need to. It makes me so nervous because of the high ego of this culture and that the males exude and that being a show off is having status but really it makes people, especially women feel unsafe in their own country

I think Surrey, BC would give Brampton a run for the money on that title. 30 years ago Surrey was known as Little India. There are street signs that are not in English or French but in Punjabi. When my children were small, the notices from school were written in English, Punjabi & Korean.

Adopt our culture or we will get you OUT, amicably and respectfully! And no we will not create haven like Surrey, Richmond, Brampton or Vancouver...we are noticing the imnpact and scrapping the political correctness implemented by illiberal movements!

There are some parts of Surrey you can't tell what country your in, then you got to mention Vancouver where we are quoted as the most Asian city in Canada. All sad but true. Also, there are times when I walk in the mall or if I go to Walmart and I am literally like the only white person in the store. Absolutely crazy. It’s a complete take over and something needs to be done about this art immigration. System is crap and broken. In Surrey BC it is full of east Indians and the gangs are nuts. There’s always shootings in broad daylight. Of course the politicians don’t do anything about that and the police are useless.
