No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. Also, instead of improving the working environment and coming up with solutions for the local Canadian workforce to cope with covid impacts, we just welcomed all random visitors to come to Canada to work. all these indian new comers in the past 3-4 years have used the loopholes of this policy with the help of unethical Indian immigration agents and employers who are only trying to save money to provide them employment letters so they could get work permits \nNo wonder we have so many low skilled Indians that have brought and created issues in Canada. Have we noticed car accident rates increase? The unethical visits to the food bank? The grants and money from our tax money that the government gives out to these people for their low income status?\n\nI am an immigrant myself and have known many Indians that are high skilled and making great contribution to Canada. \nWe completed our legitimate degrees in Canada, applied for our work permits, got good jobs and paid our taxes, working hard to make contribution to this country. \n\nIt makes me sick to see the government and this stupid policy just unfairly allow these individuals to come to Canada and stay and possibly get their PR.\n\nHow about the hard working high skilled immigrants that fought hard and actually earned our spots to stay in Canada.

my experience in Germany is actually very positive. I had studied in Netherlands before moving here. I find it more welcoming in DE as NL. My colleagues are super nice and helpful. I would not be here today without their support and trust. Also NL is more expensive to live than Germany, at least in my time. After having a master degree, I paid over 600 Euros for 1 year job-seeking visa in NL. In Germany, a multi-year visa costed me 50 bucks. Childcare, as far as I understand, is very expensive for non-Dutch or non-EU family. I often see kids going to kindergarten only 2-3 days/week there. Here in Germany, I found easily a place for my son from age 1. Education is totally free. In NL, my master course costed 16.800 Eu/year for non-EU (luckily I had full scholarship), for Dutch students it was 3000 Eu. I remember my classmates went protest back then because of the high tuition fee. And for the language, yes of course it is difficult. But it takes 1 year of regular learning to become sufficient in daily life. And the result is very rewarding. I, myself, did not pay a penny for that, I learnt simply by borrowing books from city library. So it is possible.

Considering yourself exempt from the benefits of social services is to fundamentally misunderstand their purpose; we use social programs to improve social wellbeing. As our major cities follow the trend of closing safe injection sites, and doing little to nothing to curb the skyrocketing cost of living, we will see societal heath decline. I migrated from Kenya to Canada with my family when I was 13. When I turned 26, I left Canada and moved to Australia. It took me 5 years to settle here and get my papers sorted. I almost gave up a couple of times, because as you have stated moving from one country to the next is super hard. However, I can say that I have a much much better quality of life. I visit my family from time to time, and can definitely say the Canada I left in 2017 and the Canada now has deteriorated significantly. It was extremely sad for me to see it in 2023. Hopefully, Canadians will have a change in government within the next year. This will help in turning things around.

I am from India and been living in Canada for 18 years. I am living here with my family and I am so grateful to this country and respect the country and the freedom I have. The thing is homelessness is a fact that is coming from the most broken families. And here cannabis legal. I could see most white peoples don’t want to go to work, even there is enough work for them. And as a country to grow, they need youngsters for the workforce, but unfortunately Canadians people don’t have enough kids to support the country. And the kids are grown from the broken families maybe ending up in the streets. Indians are most of them only marry once and keep their marriage life till the end. So many divorce can ruin the life too. So the students coming here in Canada, how they get visa, Government don’t know that. We can’t blame them, because this is the offer they get from here. \nBut even though I am from India, I have enough from Indian people here in Canada. I cannot see the video filmed in Korea. I hope I can see one. I think Korea is one of the top safest countries and many Canadians visit here or live in South Korea. You can walk at almost any places in Korea even at night and may feel safe. Most Koreans never have kind of dangerous situations for their life time, and of course foreigners too. I am also looking. In canada there is unrganised land for sale. No buildng permits or no municipal taxes. A new trend is offgrid communuties. I see this as our future. Some comes with your own well on haf acre land. Ony fee is sharing small fee toward plowing road in winter. If you want it or do it yourself. Can be one hour near healthcare and groceries. I can go 3 months without needing shopping presently. You must love nature and homesteading on natural diet, some technical aptitude helpful for solar energy with fuel backup.

biggest problems are the delusional politicians in the government who dont take care of its citizens in the first place take care of your country first and once you've done that then you can help those are in need of support but not at the expense of the livelyhood of its residence in america and not at the expense of their freedom ot their well being. that goes for every government and i can see too many of those politicians are too focused on getting wealthy being greedy increasing rent, taxes etc they are a disgrace.

100% agreed. I have seen one lady(indian) helping her 4-6 yr son to pee in the school playground wall . My kids go to that school . I informed the school principal. But they can't control anyone after school hours. They asked me to call the police if i see anything in the future. It's so shameful for me because everyone hates us because of this public pee and poop issue. My wife told me she also saw a few Indian/Pakistani mothers doing the same. When she asked one of them . Her response was its school responsibility to provide the washroom even after school hours. They are not even accepting their wrong doing.

From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. I don't see how collapsing the infrastructure is helping anybody. If there's no room, there's no room. Out of the 8 billion people on the planet, something like 6.5 billion live in developing nations. Canada has 40 million people. When is it too many? Another 40 million? A billion?

But not just that - these new immigrants become fodder of cheap labor that pushes out our very own Canadian citizens from these positions, with the more marginalized ones ending up on the streets. \n \nThere is a Motel 6 in my neighborhood that has been taken over by the Canadian government and converted to temporary housing for new immigrants. All paid for by Canadian taxpayers. Why isn't our own government using these funds to fix the housing crisis, or help it's own citizens with more affordable housing but instead they continue to exacerbate this problem by letting a huge wave of immigrants that overwhelms the Canadian infrastructure. More proof? Notice more locked up goods in your local stores? Canada has to start recognising degrees from other countries. Here in B.C. we have emergency rooms closing overnight due to lack of staffing. We need doctors and nurses yet the barriers for those immigrating to get their degrees recognised mean many never qualify.\n\nCanada also needs to look at who we are admitting in and to terminate the family unification policy. When immigration was helping the country grow there was a different demographic coming in. Often it was single men or young married couples. As they came by themselves they assimilated into the mosiac of the country. When you concentrate on immigrants from one country instead of assimilating they setup ethnic communities. \n\nLook into what study groups have said that is contributing to gang violence. It's ethnic groups that have the grandparents, parents and grand kids all living in one home. The grandparents want the grand kids to adhere to their native culture. Unfortunately by time you get to the grand kids they are Canadian. They speak English/French depending where they live with little interest in speaking their ethnic language. There is cultural conflict within the home hence street life is where they find love and caring.\n\nSome cultures are not as community minded. Part of the high cost of renting/housing is based on greed not need. In my own community I know of apartment units now renting at 2,500 - 4,000/month owned by the same people that even five years back you could have rented for 500 - 800. There is no justification for that percentage of increase other than greed.\n\nJob opportunities. Summer employment for school kids is going down yearly. You see local business that use to hire students over the summer month claiming they can't find any workers. They bring in TFW yet Canadian students can't find work. You can tell the owners nationality of a business by the nationality of the workforce. A local store bought by a east Indian two years ago which at the time had a diverse workforce is now entirely staffed by east Indians. Yet who screams racist? \n\nCanada definitely needs to reconsider its immigration policy and bring in major changes.

This video is an example of a Canadian government focused on taking better care of immigrants than it's own citizens. But it's true.. i can't go to a park or have picnic in a park in my neighborhood nor any park in 50km radius from where i live that not filled with Indians occupying practically all the tables, and i don't even live in Brampton. I'm not racist or prejudiced being a Canadian born of immigrant descent, but when i see this i cannot help but feel resentful. I'm tryng hard not to be.

Because I live in Atlanta and my son is homeless in Charlotte and he was homeless in Atlanta and all I see are homeless people lying all over the streets! I'm Italian and seeing this title I can't help but laugh. First of all, Canada belongs to the natives of the country, that doesn't include us, Europeans or anyone else. Native Canadians have a reason to be against us taking their land.

I got laid off 5 weeks ago ( no renewal of contract).. after 7 years working for that NFP.. I applied for snap and unemployment… while applying for jobs( social worker field)… first, they ask for so many documents… including my bank account….( again I was laid off .. not fired nor left my job, nor finding reasons not to work all those years ), department of labor had a mandated zoom meeting to discuss what I needed to do 4 weeks after I was laid off( like i don’t know)… I ve been working for years and paying taxes… a lot of them in NYC, I was also told that I have to show what I am doing to search for work and eventually should take a job( even if the salary is low..ridiculous)… I was also informed that I may get a call from investigator from DOL..they may call individuals receiving unemployment benefits($441 a week after taxes?)… to verified that I was searching and applying for jobs( even though I enter my activities related to work weekly on their website…..)….. meanwhile… people with 0 legal documentation are entering the US and living here, free snap, free housing, free health insurance!!!! Lala land!!!! Can’t wait for this non sense to stop!!! Every corner of NY , you see families begging for money. Food…I feel bad as a human being, but refuse to help or I ll be joining them too… welfare system needs to change too! The politics NEED to change!!!All the best !

We aren’t anti immigrant. Canada has always been a friendly and peaceful country and we have always welcomed immigrants. It’s mass migration that we are opposed too because we don’t have the infrastructure or the money to take care of everybody. We have a housing crisis, a health care crisis and mass migration is making us poorer. We are also concerned about culture clashes which we are already starting to see. I am a permanent resident of Canada and born in the US. I live right outside of Montreal. I actually went to Plattsburgh, NY three times in past two months and each time while on my way back from Plattsburgh, I would encounter several migrants at the bus stop shown on the video. In one of my encounters I saw a group of them wearing ankle monitors. I would see vans standing at the gas station picking up and dropping off migrants. These drivers are helping the problem just to make money. I just heard on the news that greyhound changed the bus stop in Plattsburgh a couple of weeks ago and I wonder if it's because of the illegal migrants. I have been going to Plattsburgh by bus for many years and I've never seen migrants inundate the area as I have in the past year. I knew about Mexicans flying over to Canada so they can walk across the boarder into the US but I didn't know it was this bad. I don't see this problem going away unless Canada works with the US to solve it. It's getting scary out there because there are criminals who has committed serious crimes in their home country and come here on a clean slate to continue their criminal activity. When does this torture end?

Crazy the amount of homeless in all the parks that where for children are now being use as camp sites. Children or seniors can't enjoy a nice time now.\nUnemployment refusing to help residents n new people that are student or don't got documents get full financial support but those that live here can't. As a Filipino watching the economy of USA from afar, I think that no other politician has shown significant concern to help its economy except for Trump. He's pretty bold and not scared to voice out issues that make the democrats uncomfortable. It is not for me to decide who others will vote. However, I see a leader in Trump and he's not afraid to fight back. It's only a matter of time for the Chinese to create its own microchips that are of novelty and prestige. Their economy is of course stagnant as of the moment because many foreign companies pulled out from China. Nevertheless, do you think it's going to be forever? They will cope and soon establish theirs given their population and government financial backing. Trump was right to put trade war against them to regulate foreign trade as it did with Japan. All countries will suffer when the dollar loses the international prestige. It is fastly losing it's international reputation as of these days. If this won't halt, imagine a future where the Chinese RMB will be the basis of international trade. You don't know the real plan of the Silk Road guys. Americans are conquerors and we have adjusted with their ways already. And, the Chinese are conquerors as well. Their goal is to really surpass the USA. The rise of China has benefited every ASEAN member, but greatly the former than the latter. We can adjust with their ways. However, America and Europe may not be that ready to adjust their ways for them should they surpass USA. The USA has become complacent and too liberal where individual rights, although important, have gone too far-fetched. This has created entitled individuals who think they own the world. Now, look at the Chinese. While most young Americans are busy dancing in TikTok and the likes of wasting time for entertainment, most young Chinese are studying hard and upskilling. Let's remember that America became great because of its inventions and extremely the nuclear power. Without great minds, minds that are feebled by drugs and misguided philosophies, a society will crumble. USA can use its weapons and influences against other countries, but can it hold the progress of it's rival economy for the rest of the years? You guys need a leader who is competitive and won't back down from a fight. As of these days, given only two political candidates to choose for presidency, I dare say that Trump has a higher bidding for the goodness of USA. Of course he wasn't able to accomplish his plan before after you guys impeached him. How the hell can a leader complete its plan after being halted unprecedentedly amid his administration? Kamala Harris looks promising but not convincing. Aura, although unquantifiable, do speak something. Choose your leader and it will choose your fate. As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. Now tell me again why New Yorkers are not protesting at the Governor's mansion or the Mayor's office? You don't see hundreds of buses here in Florida pulling up with these illegals because we would burn these damn shelters down! You are not going to use our tax dollars to feed, clothe and house full grown men when we have residents who are struggling seeking the same help and are being denied!
