I feel bad for his innocent children to have to go through this. You want to live in another country, you need to follow the law like every else. You learn the language, get the same I.D. We all have to have , and be treated the same as if any American were to illegally cross boarders! What we have to go through just to have identification here should be no different for anyone else! You can’t just live off our tax dollars and government ins., food stamps etc.. While we pay for you to live here!! I don’t reap those benefits, yet I’m paying yours!! I can’t feel bad! When I go to a dr. Or dentist and an immigrant or a lazy able bodied parent gets everything done free and I’m struggling to pay with full ins.. I literally walk out so pissed off! These are straight facts!! He had fifteen years to make it right. Instead he took a shot doing it his way to reap the American benefits and the feel bad for me card!If they ever let him come back and he collected any kind of help in those last fifteen years, “if” , he should have to get proper I.D., citizenship, and pay back anything he was given! It’s only fair! He was able to save all that money tax free, hmmm must be nice! I don’t feel bad he had to spend it. That’s real life!I’m tired of watching my citizens no matter race or color, work hard paying taxes and giving their hard earned money away!!If we just let anyone walk right through our boarder than what’s the point of any American needing any I.D.??? Don’t people get why it’s so important to keep track for so many obvious different reasons!! I believe certain citizens with outrageous offenses should be chipped!In every race!I don’t care who the president is any president that doesn’t believe this is the right thing to do sucks! I didn’t vote for a Trump! I think he’s smart and a moron at the same time!

I hate that at my work that we have a 5 foot rule; if a customer is within sight in 5 feet of you, you are to ask them if they need help with anything. Whether or not we suspect them of stealing. We don't discriminate racially, we do this with every person who walks into the store. Which is ridiculous because our store is very small and we have anywhere between 3 and 6 employees on the floor at any given time. So, inevitably, every customer is offered help many many times in their visit. I am always worried that a person of colour will think I'm profiling them, when I'm really not. I genuinely just want to know if they're finding everything they need or have any questions. If we were to racially profile based on the people who have stolen from us in the past, we'd be going after every white person who walks in the store. In my 3 years working there we have had only white people steal from us. So sick of the race issue, we're all humans. The amount of melanin in our skin should not matter.

It’s amazing how much I can relate. I’m white, so why should I, right? But when Stacey Mackenzie’s voice cracked, I knew why. I’m a Newfoundlander, we are made fun of too, we are looked down on too. My ancestors were flogged, but there’s no picture was of them. My ancestors we left to starve because they owed so much to the merchant, the didn’t deserve a barrel of molasses. They didn’t catch enough fish that summer to pay for the debts they incurred the year before. Nobody even knows why the debt they incurred wasn’t their fault. I’m not trying to diminish the history of my black brothers and sisters here, I want to know more of that history. But, you need to learn the meaning of the word “merchant”, if you think bigotry is based on race. Yes, bigotry based on race is wrong. But it’s not the only kind of bigotry.

It's a heartbreaking situation, but a country has the right to decide who comes in and who doesn't. The places where hard-working, industrious people like Jose come from need to drastically change their societies to capitalize on his talents and provide for a stable future for his children. Perhaps what the US and Canada can do is help train those country's leaders to implement policies that improve their economies like establishing strong property rights, rule of law, free markets, tough measures on crime, etc. But unless you have a Ph.D. in Physics or will start the next Apple computers, we have plenty of unskilled labor here already. Look, I feel for the guy and I'm empathetic to his plight, I don't think he's an evil person, and our country may be better off having him here working and contributiing to the labor pool, but the law is the law.

The only thing I see is everything gets dirty. Everyone wants to come to the North, United States and Canada. These people need to go make their own work. Canada has a 100,000.00 people out of homes . we have no room for extra. That is not including the standard homeless, and troubled young adults. Someone told me they have people starving. Children dying. So do we, they need care and parents can not afford it. Tax me for i want to help every CANADIAN. When we are home free maybe we can splurge. You cannot develop an advanced society when any religious \nbrainwashing takes over. Especially an ideology that is hostile to other\n religions. I used to be a very liberal person for most of my life and tolerant of other cultures and religious faith, like many others I may add.\n However my tolerance is wearing somewhat thin, like many others I may add again, after hearing the same old opinions coming from Muslims repatriated in western societies. \n They come into our cultures on mass and never assimilate into ours, but create their own little pockets of cultural being within our national borders.\n We hear time and again how the indigenous populist must be accepting of them, even though very few are accepting of our culture, using an analogy it's akin to inviting a stranger into your home and give them a safe place to live, food, money and all items that go along with it, and the next thing their sat on your favourite chair with your remote in their hand, even going to bed with your wife!\n We need to wear our head covering it's our right they chant, OK then, afford the same favours to us in your country, let my partner wear her bikini when she's walking down the road, let us drink alcohol, build Christian churches, you get where I'm going with this.\n If it's so great there why do you choose to live here? The incessant complaining about stereotypes towards blacks is ridiculous, all races have their own stereotypes. If someone saw a well dressed black person heading into an office building they wouldnt think twice but if someone saw a young black kid dressed like a gangster,smoking dope and acting shady theyre going to think suspiciously of you and there is nothing wrong with that. stop making it about race when it has a lot more to do with how you behave and act. The drive to get more black people in positions over authority for the sake of diversity is itself racist, the best person for the job is the person who should be in office if 8/10 judges are white and they are in fact the best people for the job then their should be no desire to change such things, we need to evaluate the character of a person and not their race. I think you should need to conformation,we don't want to live between people who wear mask on the streets,otherwise you are a guest in that countries,peopel want to see your faces want to see how are you,not like a Ninja you know! The reason is simple,day by day we see what is going on in your countries also see how Fanatics you are !
