The US is one of the world's greatest democracies, currently run by a group of narcissists who only care about their own interests, who only want the caos.. At this dark moment for the US, I think the world needs the American people to speak out and be true to their values.

As an American, I want to say that I have never seen a more toxic administration in my life. Not only are they hurting Americans but they are hurting Americas longstanding allies. This will not end well for us as Americans. This both hurts me and scares me. It’s sad that there are Americans that think this administration is doing a good job. God bless us all!?

I’m a government worker in the city where I was born and raised. I’m also a mother, a wife, and a family-oriented person. Because of the sheer incompetence of this administration—and the people who blindly followed along—our future is more uncertain and jeopardized than ever before.\n\nI was planning to buy a car for our growing family. We had been saving for a house and making future plans, but now, all of that—especially spending—is on hold. The U.S. is a consumer-driven economy, so what do you think will happen when people like me stop spending due to uncertainty?\n\nThis is madness. @robertedward7023 It can but I think Trump is right on this one. Zelensky needs to realize that he won't get his land back that Russia took, and that negotiating is the only way to come to peace now. He's living in a fairytale world fighting an unwinnable war. I think the US is right to pull the plug on financial aid to try to pressure Zelensky to negotiate to end the war. Unfortunately, to end the war Ukraine will likely have to concede the land they lost. But the reality is Putin will never give that land back. But it's better than more people dying everyday. Zelensky has gotten all too comfortable relying on financial aid and as a result he hasn't been willing to try anything new (like negotiate) to get this war finished. If we keep sending him money, nothing will change. Now he has pressure to negotiate. the US and Canada can't keep sending money to Ukraine for the next 20 years while this war carries on.

This is only the beginning and I think that it's a matter of time that the retribution will begin with persecutions of the political opponents! It's days of fear of demented evil!

It’s despicable how the leadership of our country ?? is moving and what’s crazy is they think it’s a big flex. I also agree, this tariff war is novice at best. Canada doesn’t deserve this.

What would be interesting to know is how trade between Canada and Europe explodes, Europe would like all the oil and gas and rare earthminerals Canada has, so would China, if for nothing other than to prevent Americas access to it. I think trump and musk think russia will supply rare earth minerals on the cheap, but Russia is about to collapse again and various regions break away as they did last time, but this time is much worse than back then, Russia really could cease to exist and America will not benefit at all, Europe China India Mongolia will benefit. Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs. In fact, it's the United States job to keep illegal drugs and immigrants out of the US and they are doing a poor job of it and need someone else to blame. Mexico could retaliate in a way that could flood the US with illegal drugs and immigrants and refuse to repatriate its citizens back into Mexico. The rest of Central and South America could do the same in support of Mexico. Trump proudly stated that this is the greatest agreement in the history of the United States. Last week he wanted to know who in the US agreed to the terrible trade agreement. He is losing his mind and cognitive function is deteriorating at a rapid rate. Re-negotiating contracts after the work is complete is how Trump ran his businesses. He has bankrupted many small businesses by not paying them knowing that they do not have the money to go to court. He is only rich because of daddy's money otherwise he would have never survived his many bankruptcies. Thats why no one will loan him money. I can't wait until he screws over the government of Saudi Arabia with one of his shady business deals. Anyone remember what happened to Khashoggi for just authoring a bad article on Saudi's Leaders. Why are we doing this to our next door neighbors? How does anyone benefit from this? This is a very distressing turn of events and whoever is advising DT needs to be fired. As a European having lived in both Canada and the United States for prolonged times, my view is this: Canadians are basically the same as Americans but with Health Care. They have a common heritage and history and this is like a brother turning evil and hurting its siblings. Trump is smart?
