Lol you people really think America needs Mexico ? hate to break it to you but you’re not the Middle East, no oil, you’re not that important.

We need to make sure that the tariff is printed on our receipts. I think this would help people understand it better.

What has Mexico done to “control the migrants?” We have millions of people who crossed over into the USA. We are seeing it in our cities and feeling it in our pocketbooks! Just more lies. Someone has emboldened that Mexican President to think she can lie about how she has “helped stop or slow the migration into the US” when she knows dang well what she is doing (or not doing) and who she is doing it for. Your average Americans are not that gullible and we know exactly what is going on. And CNN needs to stop the lying too! Have you guys learned nothing?

Tell Maxico to investigate who buys their human trafficking that sent people to us. If it's the organization in US then send them all to prison.\n\nIt sad that Maxico will suffer but they need to respect us, I mean how they can they allow those immigrants to cross in? Did they get paid to send those people in or they bluntly disrespected us? Where is their border patrol, are they capable of control in their border? If they cannot theb I think Trump should exercise compassion and understanding their situation.

Yeah Mexico has been living large off of our dumb policies. Trump acts like we make SOOOOO much here in the US that we can function alone. FALSE! We make damn near NOTHING here. We rely too heavily on other countries in every aspect of our lives; food, clothing/footwear, shelter/building construction material, automotive even down to hygiene products . These countries think he is a fool! Hike up tariffs for them and they will just take it out on us. Tariff is NOT going to control immigration. NO 1 president has ever 100% combated immigration. YES we need a tough stance on immigration & it will result in some casualties, let's be honest. However the way he is talking, he will screw his own people. I can't believe nobody on this team explains this to him.

I dont think there are enogh doctors ir hospitals to cover everyone in the US. I dont think the system could handle it if anyone coild go. I live in Germany for about 6 years, moving from Bosnia and didnt have any of those problems mentioned, excluding the bureaucratic hurdels. Granted, i do speak German natively since ive spent my early childhood years here. To be fair i do think that learning the language of the nation you are moving to as fluently as possible should be a no brainer.\nWhat people arround the world need to understand is that European countries are NOT the USA. These are nations that exist for thousands of years with clear cultural parameters born out of centuries of strugle, war and hardship. These are strongly embeded into the minds of the people living here. The jist of it is that Europeans have known this for a long time, literally knowing ´´what the others are like´´. So its much easier to adapt. Of course it helps that most European countries have simmilar religious and social values.

I don’t support trump at all but I think immigration is an issue here (obviously not with people eating cats literally fake) for American citizens and what our taxes go to. Even if illegal immigrants are removed, there needs to be better humane improvements for those who want to come in the right way.

I’m not a crazy Trumper when I say this, but IMO you all should put a retraction or correction. I come to TLDR for fair and unbaised news. But the confusing of “illegal immigration” and “immigration” misleads people to believe that Trump is against ALL forms of immigration, which no one believes.\n\nTLDR, if you don’t think it is misleading, then I think you all should work on communication. You need to provide more context or argument in this video about how Trump is against all immigration.

My main concerners are human decency and the chance that a legal immigrant will get caught up in the mix.\n\nFirstly, i am concerned we will return to the concentration camps of the 1900s and the people in them wont have adequate supplies and support ehile they wait to be deported.\n\nSecondly my concern is for those on a green card or other form of legal immigration getting caught up in the mix and not being let go. I guess this also includes children of people here illegally who were born in America.\n\nFinally i think we need to stop thinking of asylum seekers as illegal immigrants. If you have come here and submitted the proper paperwork to be here then you should be allowed to stay until your paperwork has been processed.

Interestingly enough, the clip where the girl is complaining about having the rent increased by $7000 is not Trudeau's fault (Liberal government) but Doug Ford's, who's Conservative and the premier (like a governor in the US) of Ontario. He removed the limits on rent increases on properties occupied for the first time after Nov 15 2018. So now, if you want make a few more bucks or just kick someone out just jack the rent so they can't afford it and have to leave (usually you can't just end a lease agreement because you want to but not anymore as you can just increase it to whatever you want). Limits exist for a reason unless you're at the top and want to make more without any regard to people that are struggling.\n\nWhat I'm trying to say is that I don't think the Conservatives will do better than the Liberals, they're just different flavours of garbage. We do need real change, unfortunately I don't think it will happen.

To all those supporting the cracking down on these ‘illegals’ there’s something I need to know. Tell me, if they folks had an option to immigrate legally, would they? Do you think it’s some kind of malicious effort to come here against the law, or are they coming here out of desperation? Many of these people come from places like Haiti, Colombia, or Guatemala. Places that the CIA and American tax dollars destroyed. Illegal immigration wouldn’t be a problem if we didn’t make the situations of many of our southern neighbors unlivable.\n\nI’m a Floridian white dude who was comparatively born with the silver spoon in my mouth, I understand America is at a point economically where the last thing we need is to be spending money on non citizens, sending billions in foreign aid abroad or on undocumented immigrants. But I also think we need to take some level of accountability for why this is even an issue. I speak Spanish as a second language, and ever since I got to communicate with many of these ‘illegals’ and got to hear from an older Guatemalan gentlemen of his time living through the American backed “Silent Holocaust” my opinion has change completely.

I always wonder why people in US even care. Like, okay, you need to enforce law, yet I think that it mostly because people assume it spike up crime, exacerbate housing crisis (which is not really caused by immigraiton), which is presumptions. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Gangs started in the White House with their red and blues. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. They come to work not to freakin take your jobs… this country everyone is a damn immigrant this country was taken from the natives taken with violence by killing them , rapi!’ Them. I think it’s important to note that her choice of words implies a greater issue than just supporting Trump, lack of empathy. The bulk of people that vote for Trump have two mentalities: “if I had to do it, so do you” and “this doesn’t affect me personally so I don’t care”. It’s bizarre to me that people think we need to take America “back” as if this country isn’t made up of a majority of immigrants. Most of our ancestors did NOT come here legally. America is in dire need of education, not just about elections, but political theory in general. So many people think Socialism = Marxism and immediately write it off as diabolical to even mention. The truth is, more communal ideologies will boost the economy not hinder it. I was worried when Trump won, but now I feel like maybe we need to experience authoritarian regimes like his in order to actually wake up and see how our lack of knowledge and care is running the country into the ground.

Canada, you need to WAKE UP. Ive visited toronto and montreal for the nightlife scene and it was a blast before they started coming in mass. First this would be very costly. It takes money away from citizens that could use the monetary application like the homeless. Next, working illegals pay into social security that they will never use. How will those funds be replaced? And finally, many illegals are well known to be cheap labor for farmers and AG related businesses. Removing them drives up food costs because US citizens will need higher wages or US citizens will not work those jobs and create food shortages. You cannot have homeless Americans while illegal immigrants are being put up in hotels. \nThe real question is, does the USA need more unskilled people, whose primary contribution is manual labor? More and more jobs are going to be lost to AI/Robotics. Think of the scenario where you will have vast swathes of the population unemployed or underemployed. Is that desirable? Think of the chaos that will cause. More doctors and scientists are always welcome to immigrate anytime, and such folks all do so legally. \nThere are enough people already in America to do what needs to be done. We need to first build infrastructure using existing citizens to enable the next wave of immigrants (several years later) to move here. You just cannot have more and more people put more pressure on an already crumbling and ageing infrastructure, driving up rents for low-income Americans.

When she started with 'we need to take our country' back, I began to think she meant Mexican-Americans need to take back their country that was originally part of Mexico but was taken from them by the United States. eg Texas and other border states. Isn't that what the immigration north is all about? Taking back country? Of course the people who should really have the right to take back their country are the Indian Nations. They would be justified in deporting any families whose ancestors were illegal immigrants and did not get the equivalent of a green card from the original owners.
