Lived there for 14 years on and off mostly bcoz had no choice to go back but all the time I was only hoping, praying when time will come that I will leave this country finally I’m out , thank God , truth is that there is too much hype about Canada in other parts of the world particularly in Asian countries , immigrating to other European countries is difficult now , the picture of Canada is being portrayed as the best place , it is a nice country to some extent but living comfortably is extremely hard , way too expensive , everything from groceries to education , it is completely out of reach for a new comer to buy a house in and around Toronto , way too cold , brutal winters , which are very depressing , problem is this country is mostly uninhabitable due to extreme cold weather , everyone is nestled in Toronto and it’s surroundings , very limited opportunities. \nCold Canadian behavior, I always used to call it Cold Hell. I can go on and on ….I’m happy I’m out from there. You can just struggle to survive , you can’t have future in Canada.

I'm in love with Canada since I went there to study English in 2011. I've lived in Toronto about 6 months but I had to come back to Brazil because I didn't have enough money to stay. I can't spend a day without thinking about coming back, someday I will.\nCanada has my heart and soul.

When I see people indulging in racial profiling or discrimination I wonder if humans are actually that dumb ? Treat differently just because someone has a different Colour ? Why is speaking in English so imp even if the one speaking is talking dumb ! ! \nAren’t bilinguals more intelligent and attractive ? I have lived in Toronto for 3 years racial discrimination exists but is subtle ! Am brown take me for your next experiment ?

I've lived in brampton since 1990. Thanks to the Indians I don't have to drive back to Toronto to do groceries. I welcome the Indians. ?? ?

Im a Canadian citizen (born in Toronto) who hasn't lived in Canada for over a decade. I left and declared non-resident status. I visit nearly every summer, spending around $8-10k a trip as well as sending money back to support my parents in Ottawa. I get nothing from Canada, and rightly so. I have to purchase my own health insurance when coming back. That's completely okay with me because I haven't paid into the system for over 10 years. How in the hell is someone who hops over the border with no previous ties to Canada entitled to ANYTHING though? They should be shipped back to their country of origin and duties assessed on any imports from that country should be raised to cover those costs or some other method of recouping that money should happen.

I was raised in Canada and lived in America for 3 years, this was around the time Hurrincane Katrina hit. I miss living in Houston, but wouldn't change for the world. I love it here in Toronto. The guy made good points about the obvious differences between the neighboring countries. I'm full of Texas pride, but Canada rocks!!!
