I am an American and our current President is not only stupid, but he's also insane and demented.

I am an American. I am also reasonable and polite. I didnot vote for #47 or support any of his policies, but will suffer the consequences of his pyscopathy along with so many others. Thank you for showing the world what integrity looks like. I stand with Canada.

I am a Canadian and I love America and the American people. I hope we can put this behind us sooner rather than later there is no need for any tension between us. We always have each other‘s back. With that said, I would like to see Canada step up to certain obligations, including with NATO, but as far as a trade work goes, this is not good.

I am an American and I fully support Canada in this. Our leadership here is broken.

I am so proud of Canadians and their leaders. The kindest most civilized people on this planet and certainly don’t deserve any of this.That is how a leader speaks. The US almost sounds like Gilead. I’m so sad for Americans. I am a North American Indigenous person and live in Canada. Trump says he wants to make America great again and has only hurt the American people.

I did not vote for Trump but I am a shame that Trump is president. Trump purposely destroying Biden’s “Build Back Better” he aligned with Putin. Trump staff Is part of Project 2025. These are the people who wanted a tax break, on the backs of the American people. Prime Minister Trudeau is not our enemy and I accept what he is forced for the Canadian people. We need to vote wisely to end Trump’s dictatorship and there will be 3 seats up in Congress in April.

What an intelligent and articulate speech compare to Trumps endless mumbling and articulation of a demented grandpa with strange worldview. I am so sorry for Americans. I think this is the worse American president in history and he will definitely make history as in as the most incompetent American leader in its history. I can’t help but wonder who the hell was voting for this idiot?

As an American, we don’t want this either. I don’t understand what and why to be honest. All I know was in November 2024 I woke up to the worst feeling I have ever had. First time woke up ashamed and shame and fear to live in the United States. I never in my 60 years thought that hatred hiding behind Christianity would prevail. As an American at the last years of my life I want to say to Canada, Mexico , Puerto Rico, Ukraine and all our European allies, I am sorry we let you down.

As an American, I want to apologize for a man I didn’t vote for but is bringing your people harm, hate and I am proud of you Canada and your people.

I remember when we had a president that could speak in complete sentences without any name calling and pointing fingers at everyone else. North Carolinian American here. I am ashamed of our country pushing our allies away. What I and many others want to let our allies know is that we support them. Our country is getting closer to isolationism, and it isn't good if we want inflation and prices to go down. History has shown us what happened to our country when we were isolated, and it brought economic devastation throughout the country. I hope that it isn't severe, but I predict that our president, and the Republican Party that controls the legislature and the Supreme Court will definitely cripple the economy, and will find a way to blame the party, where they are not in control.

As an american , I am absolutely appalled and angry at how trump and his people are acting. It's a disgrace , it's an embarrassment , and it's unacceptable. I don't take the red pill every day, so i'm not in the red haze. If you do take that pill every day, this will all affect you too. So good luck with that!! I will do everything within my limited economic (non-billionaire), physical and social power to protect Canada against american aggression. You have threatened our democratically elected government, natural resources, economy and personal freedom. By electing “that person” as your leader and aligning with authoritarian dictatorships like Russia, you have threatened not only Canada and Ukraine but world peace. You have threatened your own economic and personal freedom. Prime Minister Trudeau spoke succinctly in a comprehensible way to let you, the american people, know the seriousness of your choice. If you understand what you have done and realize the implications, then peacefully protest (if that is still allowed with your evolving fascist/populist/authoritarian government). Contact your local, state/territorial and federal government officials. You can let your governors, senators and representatives know that you do not agree with the government’s actions and the subsequent hardship it will impose not only on the world but on you, your family and neighbours. Make change happen in a peaceful, non violent manner, while you still can. We didn’t ask for nor want this absurdly unnecessary confrontation but when attacked, we will fight our old friends and historic allies. Elbows up Canada!

Love Canada! As an American, I am totally ashamed who we picked as our president. And this is just the beginning.

As an Australian I am so proud of Canada my second favourite country -- well done. I'm not buying anything American and certainly won't travel there. Direct flights from Brisbane to Vancouver mean I don't even have to go over the US.

As an American in California who had a family cottage in beautiful Ontario for 12 years and was welcomed by so many Canadian friends I am appalled by the American president who is a traitor. I support Canada 100% and will do everything possible to support you in this economic war with this corrupt administration.

As an American I am so disheartened about things going on at the White House. A lot of us didn’t vote for this mess and their stupidness. I am so unhappy and disgusted.
