The solution to all these problems is not to make the Palestinians a Muslim or Arab country. We want peace, but if the time comes and our governments allow us, we will support our Palestinian brothers in the jihad against Israel, but we don't want war, we want a peaceful world, but that's all they want. . When the Palestinians have their own country, why should an Arab or Muslim country keep the Palestinians as refugees in their country? Time will not stop if the Muslim governments do not declare war against Israel, then the Muslim people will declare war, and if the Muslims rise up, America and Europe will be in no position to stop the Muslims, but we are not. War, we want peace and this is only possible when this occupation ends, this oppression ends and an independent Palestinian state is established.

With all due respect, comparing US and Canada to European in general doesn't make sense(please excuse my words). Compare them to European countries like Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg. And talking about countries with more billionaires, you can only do that on per capita basis looking at the American population as compared to these countries, and with that the statistics has proved that Scandinavia has more billionaires than US and Canada on per capita basis. Countries like Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France Holland and all those other countries limit you because you're not allowed to work more than one full time job at a time, but in a country like Denmark, the wages are higher and you can work as many hours as your strength can and on top of that you get free healthcare, free education, and a lot more social benefits. So these countries come no where close to a country like Denmark. The language barrier is very valid, but putting in efforts to learn languages of countries like Denmark, Norway. Switzerland is worthy than getting a degree in country like America where inflation is out the roof and debt to gdp ratio is over 90%, having to borrow 3 to 4 billion every month in 2023 to stay afloat.. You need to read more on current state of the US.. It's been predicted that in mid 2024 to the end of 2024 5000 people could lose their job every month due to companies shutting down. This is never a good time to relocate to the States! lol

Yes, the Big Apple is not representative of America (I’d actually say, it is a lot more European than American - and I am saying that as a European who has lived in Manhattan for a year), but upstate New York is completely different from the city and much more like other U.S. states. I have lived in New Jersey near Philadelphia, in Louisville, KY and Manhattan for a year each at the end of the eighties, the mid-nineties and from 1999-2000 and I can definitely say that the immense difference of all the posh and rich vs. all the downtrodden and poverty-stricken has really shocked me. You hardly see these extremes here in Europe - ever!

Both Canada and America have huge problems right now. As a 73yo Canadian I have NEVER seen so much hate for our Government. Everyone has the exact same complaints, like it was scripted. Our press is constantly stirring the pot and it makes unsatisfied Canadians more angry every day. The negative press pounding on our PM never ends. There are YouTube channels that take every little Canadian fault and make it into the crime of the century. Worse, they make money doing it.\n \nCanadians have been spoiled with our social services and lack of crime, and our beautiful country etc. I'm so tired of the complaining and whining that makes my life more miserable than the cost of living does. Everyone's experience is different. I've lived in America for many years, I have masters degree and a good job. I've managed to build several high end apartments in Kenya, buy a house here and invest in the stock market and fund a retirement account. Same applies to my brother and sister. There were no real Rent Subsidies in Toronto like in New York though as the City was not meant for Foreign Nationals to Scam Rent Subsidies out of the Government. Toronto is getting to be that way as Hollywood Royalty is all Canadians who grew up in Richmond Hill and were working as Government Staff. There was a need to keep the Racketeering in check so Homeless Shelters were offered instead in Toronto by the City. There are Clones made by Britain who tried to take over Toronto and they became Homeless People on the streets. The Police would arrest them all the time. It became a real problem for the city. I would have the same advice for anyone thinking about immigrating to America at this time. If you are somewhat stable where you are, stay there. The cost of living here is rising dramatically, and the crime rates seem to be as well. It's work, work, work, and at the end of the day there's no money remaining.

A pharmacist has to fill anything between 200 to 350 prescriptions, give a certain number of immunizations and see a certain No of patients per day. There is no time for niceties! A corporate professional May work remotely but has to deliver on so many projects he is up till 10pm and only gets up to eat. We have beautiful homes, drive nice cars etc but MUST work like the clock in an assembly line fashion! Most of us pay so much of our income as taxes we end up with less than 70% as paychecks! Things aren’t always what they seem!

And for all the people who come here with no invite but the others have to wait in line, you should be required to do community work for free to pay back the kindness and not be given any assistance or tax credit at the end of the year. Canada has another problem that you forgot to cover. Canada isn't an entrepreneurial nation like America. Canadians are less risk taking compared to Americans which means you can have an influx of immigrants but less jobs for them therefore they will leave back to their own countries again. Most of the top employers of engineers in Canada are foreign companies, not local. Salaries in America are high due to the immense labor competition for engineers as there are more startups and entrepreneurial people. \n\nThen in Canada they require certain Canadian certifications especially for doctors which isn't as bad as in the US. So you have some engineers or doctors that end up working low paid jobs since they would have to repeat school in Canada from an accredited Canadian university. I don't see this as a problem for the US at all because these immigrants aren't going to create new companies and are merely looking for a job. Canadians not being as entrepreneurial and not starting companies to compete for the talents of these professionals will just result in these professionals working out of the Canadian offices of American and Asian tech companies.\n\nOverall not a win or loss for America. Even if these guys end up working in the Canadian division of American companies, American companies will still have the benefit of their talent which is a win at a lower cost for the US companies.

People have done studies and found if they threw citizenship at certain people they'd be voting around 70% Democrat. Where the government sets these people up also determines election outcomes. Imagine being born in America and living there your entire life. There are politicians that feel no obligation to change your mind and win your vote. If/when the global immigration tides move away from America, a generational opportunity will have been lost. My path started with the J-1 visa, which has different nuts and bolts but in the end is largely similar to what you described (and did it SO well), plus a few more restrictions. One thing I would like to note is that Canada is not welcoming in only highly skilled workers. If you can work at a Tim Horton's you qualify. This has lead to a flood of new workers who HAVE to have a job in order to stay at a time where the existing labour pool is refusing work due to pay lagging far behind inflation for two decades. Those salaries discrepancies you listed are not exclusive to the tech sector, they are economy wide. Often you'll here talk of a labour shortage in Canada, but ask for the number of applicants to jobs and you quickly find out the reason no one accepted is because the full-time job offered requires a part-time job to barely make ends meet. \n\nAnother factor is that housing happens to be the bread and butter of ~40% of our MP's. Hell our Minister of Housing himself owns properties that have appreciated massively due to the lack of supply and high demand. He then goes on national TV and says high immigration will solve the housing crisis despite Canada already having over 4% of our entire labour force already in the construction industries (America is a little over 3%) and the men and women who build our houses being unable to afford the homes they build ($22.07/hr CAD average or ~$16.66 USD. compared to $22.29/hr USD). 14% of our national GDP is housing. 14% of our entire economy is just money changing hands internally with nothing of value made. \n\nThen you have the combo of landlords benefiting from the immigration programs who try and evict the tenants on their properties to replace them with immigrant labour. They then take the cost of rent right out of their salaries. The workers can't quit their jobs because if they don't have a job they are at risk of being deported and also loosing their homes so they end up shacking 8 to an apartment to try and make ends meet. This becomes the standard the rest of the economy has to meet. \n\nIt is a rare sight to see someone who is anti-immigrant in Canada, but the majority of people here understand that immigration is a problem the way it is currently run. You have people who come here hoping for a new life being forced to sleep outside under bridges because while they may have a job they don't have a home and the shelters are already 200% capacity. Tent cities are the norm in any major urban centre now. There are crack dens in Toronto that are the same price as Castles in the UK. And this problem is only going to get worse.

Sorry Tyler, but as a US immigrant born and raised in America who lived there until I was 69 and who happens to also be a minority in several ways, I can agree with the Canadian who lived in the states for 6 years and found it intolerable and for the same reasons only I was often on the receiving end of the craziness. Before anyone comes at me I lived in Chicago, Kansas City, New Orleans and Houston and visited several other cities, so I had a pretty broad experience of US society. And I would have left the states much earlier, but I didn’t have the money as family responsibilities drained all my resources. I’ve been living in Latin America mostly Mexico and have more peace of mind, feeling of safety, lack of discrimination and affordable life then I ever did in the states. I will not be moving back if I can help it ever. Peace!

I lived in southern US for 10 years and I could not wait to get back. I was so grateful. It's not just the healthcare/guns/racist-religion stuff, it's deciding who you want to be as a culture and in America everything is very predatory, super-capitalist 'end justify the means' ideas. Whenever I see a problem with no end in sight, because the problem is rooted in a different country, I don’t think that the solution is to let everybody in. Id say America spends lots money why not just pay every Canadian 1 million dollars and buy Canada LOL. Id say that's the only way some would move to the united states. Well, as a Canadian, I guess i'll pitch in.\nWould I move to the US? The short answer is no. But I will explain more in detail.\n\nFirst, I do not see any advantages to the US compared to Canada. Americams often tout their country as the beacon of freedom and the land of opportunities, but I don't feel that Canada is so different there. We're actually higher on the world freedom index, and its not like our economy was in shambles and everyone dirt poor... We pay more taxes, fine, but we also get more services in return, and that last part has the advantage to remove a big layer of worry. Like, for healthcare, I don't have to worry if i'm covered by insurance or not, or if the insurance carrier will drop me on some technicality. I'm a citizen. All the basic needs are covered; no questions asked (and the healthcare quality is not half bad. We just prioritize urgent cases over non-urgent; so if you go to the hospital for something non-urgent, you will wait, and more urgent cases will pass before you. Annoying when it happens, but I understand and agree with that in the end)\n\nSecond, I do see a lot of disadvantages. All the points raised in the video are valid, from the private-sector healthcare system, the gun control laws (or lack thereof), the social policies and legislation in some states; they don't agree with me.\n\nI think it comes down to some specific social and cultural ideas that are prevalent or at least present in a substantial manner in the american society. Bear in mind that I am generalizing here, not every american believes these points, but many do. I'm talking about ego, nationalism/patriotism, secularism etc.\nI feel that the US often has a really overinflated vision of itself. Like, the idea that America is the best. At everything. Wich is factually not true, but this idea also poisons the debate on many issues, and tends to limit social introspection that could lead to real advances.\n\nI've also noticed that the american basic school system is strongly patriotic. Everyone in the US is taught a lot about the US themselves in school, but not much about the rest of the world. Not great for open mindedness and introspection when you have little comparison points.\n\nAndlets not delve into the religious aspect. I've seen a poll somewhere where 48% of americans were AGAINST the separation of church and state. For me thats not only insane, its dangerous. It fits the individualistic mentality where people can more easily start thinking that their way is THE way. It creates a very polarized society much more prone to high volatility.\n\nSo, yeah, no, I wouldn't live in the US. I'd much rather stay in Canada where i don't have to worry if I get sick or hurt, if some agressive drunk idiot in a bar is armed, or if some fundamentalists from some religious congregation is gonna be able to try to politically force their point of view.
