I thought you were gone Trudy. We like you Canada but we don’t really need you. We can solve the problems we get from you in 15 minutes. This guy has no problem freezing protesters bank accounts, forcing people to scan QR codes to decided who eats at a restaurant, and government sanctioned beatings of peaceful protesters because they dare stand up for freedom. Canada wake up. Trudy is a good old fashioned communist. The more he fights back against Trump, the more I know Trump is right.

I'm doing ongoing research to cease any spend on any US product or service. I'm buying software from Europe, using Posteo for email, deGoogling this year and vastly reducing Youtube. I trace all groceries to eliminate anything US sourced and I now check that products are Mexican and Canadian as much as I'm able and they are supplying. I've stopped planning trips to LA and NYC, I might resume if American voters ever have the good sense to vote en masse against obviously fascist plans and personalities. I've holidayed in Mexico three times and would visit Canada and Europe in future. US is not safe for everyone any longer, not even its citizens and looks to be getting increasingly insecure and offering prosperity only to the already mega rich through crooked policies and agencies. Every week or two I double check the facts on groceries and online products/services to make sure I'm not accidentally buying American. The election was so compromised in November I'm glad people are realising the only action we can take is with our wallets from not logging in to 'big tech' to buying bread and apples etc.

Canada thank you for taking these actions. Despite our (disgusting) administration most Americans are with you. Keep up the good work.

Well Justin, after listening to you smug listing of all the measures you’ve taken to reduce fentanyl traffic as well as “other” traffic and implemented US requests for cleaning up border issues. I ask: “Had the US not made these requests, would you have done the neighbourly thing and cared enough for your neighbour to have monitored what criminals in your country were up to? It appears you had to be reminded of your duties inherent in the ‘office of being a good neighbour’.\nYou are STILL weak and the mouthpiece of ‘controlling interests’ in Europe who in the end will toss you out on the street like some sucked dry orange and forget your fawning presence ever existed. Man up and at least try to leave an honourable legacy for Canadians. The BOC will then be able to fulfil its mission of printing its own money without bringing Canada into the slave-pit of European Banksters.

Prime Minister Trudeau is boldly hitting the nails on the head, and I admire his boldness and honesty as I've always admired Canada and its peoples. Trump is in the back pocket of the Russian dictator. His actions prove it to my satisfaction. Canada has been a staunch friend of the US, a real partner not just for economic benefits for both countries but for a democratic way of life. Canada is a strong democracy whose people are known for their open hearts and minds. I pray that this idiotic trade war started by a man who is subservient to Putin will come to an end. I live in Nashville, TN USA. I am so sorry Canada is suffering due to Trump. I do not support this move on Trump's part. I never voted for him. I have known for many years he is a dangerous narcissist. Canada is our friend. You have come to our aide in times of trouble. Our forest fires, 911 when the planes hit our twin towers. Trump wants a 4.5 Trillion dollar tax cuts for the wealthy. He sees tariffs as a way to make up some of that money alone with huge budget cuts to many of our programs. Trump is an unreasonable person who only thinks about himself. I hope he will eventually be impeached. I do not blame Canada. I blame Donald Trump and the the Republican Congress. This is a coupe going down in our country and it is sad to watch. Take good care.

Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. Canada does not close it's boarders to those who wish to leave, nor does the United States close it's boarders to those who wish to leave. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada. I’m a Canadian and no fan of Prime Minister Trudeau. It’s unfortunate the best speech he ever gave was after he resigned as Prime Minister. What he has said in this speech is absolutely true, despite the fact, I think Trump is doing some good things for the USA. This Terrif war with your neighbour is stupid. Unfortunately for us in Canada our Prime Minister has not given us the tools and freedom to grow economically and prosper the way we should have. Canadians should be living like Kings, but unfortunately are living paycheque to paycheque because of the stranglehold that our Prime Minister has put on businesses and its citizens. Now Canada has very little leverage, I believe to fight this Terrif war. I am a Canadian and I love America and the American people. I hope we can put this behind us sooner rather than later there is no need for any tension between us. We always have each other‘s back. With that said, I would like to see Canada step up to certain obligations, including with NATO, but as far as a trade work goes, this is not good.
