For any Americans who believe your ‘leader’ that this is the age when the world will respect the USA again, it is precisely the opposite… and if you don’t want to believe that, well, wishing you all the best. The only thing that makes sense is that Trump may plan to let Putin invade Canada from the polar cap in retaliation for its refusal to submit to becoming part of the United States. It is very clear that Trump would not participate in the defense of Canada in the present context, even if it goes against all past history of North American partnerships and joint defense efforts.
