Most of us find Trump disgusting and love Canada. You have to protect your people. What a firm, yet eloquent speech. I hate to see how Trump is treating everyone. He is not smart or nice.

I’m a NEVER Trumper. A ?in a red state. Trump does not represent me nor my morals and convictions. I was physically ill watching him and his pup Vance absolutely bully President Zelenskyy. I’m sorry that this is what half of the country voted for. I’m disgusted that I had family and friends who refused to see him for who he is. I’m so sorry to all those who didn’t vote for him yet we will also be aligned with him. I greatly appreciate you Prime Minister Trudeau. Thank you to those in other countries that realize not all Americans wanted this. Not all Americans bowed a knee to him. Thank you for your kindness.

Trump on day ONE gave tax breaks to the richest (includes him!), he sold your federal government to Elon so he can issue contracts to himself, he has insulted, alienated and threatened allies (ex-allies now) and he made it known that he stands with dictators like Kim Jong and Putin. Yet millions of you would probably vote for him again. Not sure if USA can redeem itself.

Why are we insulting Russia. Russia should be our trade partner. Yet, we support Israel. Disgusting. I agree with the tariff stance, but the whole Russia and China criticism is rooted in Canada's relationship with the US. They're enemy was our enemy. Smart'n up Trudeau.

As an American, I just want my fellow Americans to know that even Canadians don’t want Justin Trudeau. The guy’s like a malfunctioning AI chatbot—spitting out pre-programmed nonsense nobody asked for while the crowd collectively checks their watches. Look at how much of the Northern US border is unguarded compared to the southern border. USA desperately needed planes diverted on 9/11, our airspace was shut down, Canada was right there for us, to take on massive unknown risk not knowing if planes had bombs; Canada entered WWII, years prior to the US, barley spoken of yet they stood tall without hesitation to fight for freedom and for QEII's funeral it was the Royal Canadian mounted police who were first in procession, a massive honor bestowed by the Queen, and much more. Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

So he's so upset that Trump's tariffs will cause inflation in the US and hurt US consumers, that he decides to penalize his own people with tariffs, making them pay higher prices and thereby cause inflation in Canada?? Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace.
