Canada is a beautiful country, the dream of any migrant is to live in Canada

Leaving Canada??? Are you kidding me? If all these disillusioned immigrants are leaving, then why do us born and raised Canadians see every major city of ours being overtaken over by these immigrants, specifically the South and east Asian variety, in every single one of them? Here is statistic for you on one of them.....more than 75% of the people who live in Toronto, are from another country!! 75%, and Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and every other big city we have are catching up to that percentage as we speak. I laugh my ass off when I when I see a tiny minority group like yours claiming that immigrants are leaving at a rapid pace. I suppose though it might appear that way to you if you were not born here to begin with and witnessed the massive change in our immigrant population over the past 30 years like us born and raised Canadians have. Dont get me wrong either. I am all for immigration and know how necessary they are to our successful economy and I do feel for the ones that try to make a decent living here but get pushed out for whatever reason, but to say that there is alot of immigrants leaving is simply not true by any measureable standard or why are there so many of you everywhere? Something isnt making any sense here and I know its not coming from us born and raised Canadians either!

A Simple supply and demand thought experiment proves there is no labour shortage. \n\nA shortage in any good causes the price of that good to rise. A labour shortage would imply that the price of labour has risen. But wages have been below true inflation for how many decades?\n\nThere is no labour shortage in Canada but a shortage of employment that supports a respectable standard of living.

Update: Last week the Canadian government has cancelled the visa exemption to Mexicans who came in droves to Canada without a visa requirement but now must apply in Mexico.

I think Canadian People are fantastic but I have objection on the Governance of Canada. Canada has every quality to became No. 1 country in the whole world but its Government include central and provincial are not working to make Canada No. 1 in the world. As somebody that grew up in this country and always saw Canada as the top country on the world's stage. In the past 7 years, or so, it astonishes me why anybody would move here because of our high cost of living. \nBecause of your not ultra wealthy or didn't buy a home 10 years ago, I don't know you can afford it here.

Students are suffering because they are ready to compromise on the low wages and refugees are making money by claiming disability benefits and doing nothing. This is the worst time and place to be in Canada. Very challenging job market, housing unaffordability, health care crisis, day care crisis. Basically, you wait three or four months to see a specialist doctor. You wait three or four months to get an ultrasound examination. It is worse than third-world countries. The Inmigrants leaving are most likely skilled Inmigrants compared to the new asylum seekers arriving in Canada without any skills. This means in the future we will have lots of people with no skills getting free money from the government making the economy slow down and costing more money for the tax payers . This is an issue to be addressed soon as we can see what’s happening in the US. \nMoreover Looking for a job in Canada as a skilled and educated immigrant is a hard task . You have to downgrade your education and skills to be suitable for the jobs . I got a masters degree and I had to removed from my curriculum in order to be considered for the job and not be overqualified. This is a common thing for skilled Inmigrants. This tells you a lot that being a skilled immigrant is not well recognized here in Canada

The scariest thing that could happen in Canada is when doctors and nurses leave Canada and move to US for higher pay and good quality of life. What if healthcare aids leave Canada too and move to US or other better countries that supports them , who will take good care of our elderly? Well if I was younger I would certainly be gone. This is not the Canada I grew up in, hasn’t been for 8 years. If we get another 4 years with this current Liberal or NDP government, I may take my chances elsewhere anyway.

Meanwhile, applicants endure significant mental stress and hardship during this prolonged waiting period, unable to secure suitable employment or pursue education. Government officials seem indifferent to these struggles, leaving individuals feeling helpless and frustrated. The situation feels dire, with no avenue for recourse or resolution.

The Indian diaspora here in Canada go back to India for better healthcare, go back for better housing, go back for better career growth, go back for better family life, even for better schooling. So why come here at all! Things are not the same as 10 years ago!

I landed in Toronto in fall of 2006, its like a paradise for me at that time, a two bedroom apartment costs only $750, everywhere is clean and neat, I never saw a single homeless people, now everything degraded, very sad to see Canada is sinking, I'd like to call all Canadians vote Trudeau out.

Canada isn't a good place to move in. You've to study again even if you have a degree..it.makes you poorer and poorer..then you will realise, there's no place like home..

The government should be very clear to immigrants. Canada doesn't need workers in the Professions. Canada needs janitors and donut servers willing to live with two other families in a 2 bedroom condo or we need the rich to fleece off of. Just go onto indeed leave the key word blank and set the location as Vancouver. Most jobs you'll find pay 45-50 k or demand experience so specific no immigrant and most residents can't hope to qualify. Canada has a labour shortage the same way it has a shortage of 40k Porches.

Advice for anyone looking to leave canada maybe towards europe: don't come to germany.. The government is driving the country straight into a brickwall

Right now is probably the worst time to come here. With global recession and post-pandemic hardship, everyone is feeling the pinch. Small businesses are closing down as they could not repay back the relief loans given by the government during the pandemic. Trudeau’s policy of immigration through the educational stream and admitting so many refugees from Syria and Ukraine have caused massive rent increase - too many people chasing after lower real estate supply. Because people are feeling the pinch, crimes are up and homelessness has become a serious issue. But, here are the (long-term) advantages of living here, vs. The Philippines:\n- free healthcare - no matter how rich you are back home, wealth can be depleted if a major illness strikes;\n- free education for your kids up to highschool and opportunity for your kids to enter worldclass universities after highschool;\n- government programs that actually work - Worker rights are upheld, doleouts when you lose your job, 12-month mat/paternity leave, doleout/govt match when you save for yr kid’s university educ, tax rebates for whatever you save for retirement, retirement income even if you never held a job, infrastructures are maintained, transparency and stability of political system; \n- safer environment - yes, greater crimes lately, but still one of the safest places to live. I live in greater Toronto, and sometimes we forget to lock our door at night or leave a bicycle outside and nothing happens;\n- commitment to the environment - the country adheres to protecting the envt. You can drink water from the faucet. Strict laws on recycling and waste disposal. Greenbelt protection on forest and conservation park areas, even in the cities. Canada also has the world’s biggest water supply...in today’s global climate change, were decades away from water wars;\n- a beautiful country with friendly, humble and relaxed people who observe work-life balance

I left Canada almost 4 years ago. The quality of life outside Canada is much higher and you can actually afford to live a high quality lifestyle. I would never move back to live there full time again. It's too expensive, the taxes are way too high and the quality of life is worse than a 3rd world country. \n\nIf you are currently living in Canada I would suggest to leave as soon as you can and build options in other countries around the world.

We had to move out from Brampton bc it become terrible place to live. 3000 sq ft beautiful homes in nice subdivision. House next to us, 4 families in one house crowded like rats. Indian music playing laud in garage on Sundays. About 15 kids seating on top of 6 ft fence staring in our backyard. Couldn’t enjoy life anymore. Crime start to spike. Today people blame on Liberals, however that was during Conservative government of Brian Mulroney. Those immigrants destroy city. I hope they all leave Canada.
