I came as an immigrant from India in 1968. I arrived in Canada on Thursday and started my full time as a nurse and I have been paying my taxes ever since . I can proudly say that I contribution to health care was greatly recognized. I must agree that when you live in Canada one must adopt to Canadian culture. My family is proud to be Canadians.

Stop being racist for your own failures in life. Indians in the US UK AUS and Canada have the best education rates, their children excel in Math and Sciences, they have good family morals and values. They arent being handed everything like other communities. I have worked with all types and Indians, Chinese and Jews are successful for a reason. The immigration levels are way too high we can agree on that but stop with the racist crap. I have rented out properties to Indians, Africans, Whites, and ill tell you straight up I have had the whites and blacks skip paying rent and they trashed my apartment in Hamilton ON. UK education system is far superior. My daughters born and raised in the uk moved to Canada aged 12 and 14 and are about 2 years ahead in Canada in terms of schooling. Technology is far more advanced in the uk. Banking systems etc are way ahead. UK universities are far more prestigious than Canadian ones.

I’ve said that many times in Ontario , I don’t feel I’m in my own country , when you go in stores many working there aren’t friendly , don’t acknowledge you speak over the PA. You can’t understand them when calling to work on tails are on the floor.. immigrants having taken over our country even on the streets , they don’t adapt to our country laws or way of living , it’s like being in the twilight zone . Well, I have seen most of hatred comment towards International student. Meanwhile, it was government who allowed us to enter. I am not from India but hate for Indian people is real. Idk who should we blame. As being outsider, i believe we should be humble to this country and their people.\nPs: i came to Canada in September 2022, and i used to be surprised seeing people minding their own business. I am indian origin immigrant..I have lived in brampton just for a week in 2016...and honestly...Indians has made brampton canada's third world ghetto. I just avoid that place at any cost.

I lived on brampton a year after moving to canada, 1977. Went to high school there. I escaped after all of these years, i really have a hard time visiting some of my friends that are left there. The biggest issue i see is that there are multiple families in a sinhle family dwelling, and if you do the math, the schoolbosrd is always inthe red and looking for money. Simply put, yhe education levy on property tax generally is meant to cover 2 children per single family dwelling, not 6 not 8. Hod forbid something happens to you, it is quicly covered up otherwise race gets brought into the mix. I was rear ended by an indian lady 5 years ago, she was charged, i was a lame duck at a red light, could not move as i would hsve been tboned. She was charged but she fought it in court, i was contacted to confirm my appearance from the police officer that was first on the scene the day before the trial, the subpoena was never senr by tge prosecutors office. The prosecutor was angry that i showed up, he had already made a deal with her and dismissed all charges. Would thd same stick have bern used if i rear ended her. This is the isdue with brampton, indian is ok, everybody else, not so much
